Flicking her tail and curling is absent-mindedly around her hind legs, the dark lionesses blood red eyes peered carefully towards the nearest seer to whom Dayo directed her questions. Seers were strange and interesting indeed, and secretly she'd always wondered what it would be like to see the past.. present... and especially future. Her mother was a more confused seer, but Nondo put that down to her memory issues and didn't really connect the two. Twitching, she moved her head around to check, but there was no sign of her. Worringly, she'd heard visions of brown lions and hoped that her mother would steer clear of any impending trouble. Hopefully she would have wandered far away... Perhaps she would be safer... Their father would surely protect her too.

Halisi wasn't very good at being calm when something was amiss, that much she was starting to realize. The longer they waited to hear what they should do the more she began to move her paws in the dirt, claws digging at the ground. There were young ones that needed to be seen to and she was sure something bad would happen while so many adults were here.
"Amri," she said very quietly to get her brother's attention. "Perhaps we should leave? There's so many here...I don't want something to happen to any unattended cubs."
Amri, who was doing much better than his sister at this point, tilted his head a bit. Yes, there were a lot of lions here but the Pridelands was huge. Surely someone would be watching the cubs?
"If you would like to do that, Halisi, I'll escort you back," he said after a moment. "But wait a bit more, see if someone will speak. If not, I'll take you back to the cubs area." That seemed to be a good idea. Or...perhaps if someone did start to talk about what was going on, he'd take her away anyway. He didn't want her to start getting more worked up than she already was.

((Hey so I am very sorry I let this go. I started my job in mid-January and had no idea what I was getting myself in to. I'm going to do a quick summary of what was going to happen on my end, and move on in the meta. The prizes will be given out in the next post.
Essentially, there is a big concern about the future, and many Seers are seeing...something. But what? Darkness, Light, its a bit hazy but more cohesive than normal. As the Pridelands is a pride that has no real religion, and doesn't necessarily acknowledge the existence of gods/goddesses, its begun to create a little rift between some families and friends. Nothing huge (unless you want it to!), but enough to create discussion and some level of argument.
It is still up to you whether some saw darkness/fighting or light/safety! If you have questions PM me!))
