☽ Draven couldn't speak, he didn't find words to say and while it had bothered him that his feelings had been read... it had also shook him up the way she look before hiding her face behind a hat. He sigh and moved his gaze away from the girl, the demon still stir but he felt unable to comment on it anymore. Draven was rarely left speechless, 'What does one say to such a thing?' he wondered, unable to come up with at answer.


Draven sigh and brought his eyes back to the girl, it shouldn't be difficult to lie his way through. "It was long ago, doesn't matter anymore, you shouldn't feel sorry for me." he said, "I've learned to live with it." he added, as if it were reassurance. Draven hadn't gotten over it at all, he had spent a long period of time searching for long and when he'd finally found it, it was taken from him in the worst way possible. Maybe if it had been differently, if she hadn't been tortured, he wouldn't have been so wounded. 'Maybe if I hadn't found her, she'd still be alive.' he added to himself, only two were to blame for his pain and he was holding both of them accountable, Borknar and himself.

☽ "I wondered that too." the Angel admitted, she was a demon, Draven doubted that if he'd met her before, they'd be having this conversation. Anyther idea came to mind, "Were you an Angel before?" he wondered, maybe then they'd met but if she wasn't, he doubted they met. Even if she were an Angel, it would've been rare for them to even be in the same are at once, Angels all worked in different divisions.


When Evangeline neared him with a cloth in her hand, out of habit, the Angel leaned back, he wasn't used to being touched in such manner. He didn't make a move to push her hand away as she whiped the blood away though, "Thank you." he offered a small smile, it was rare for the Angel to smile. "It's from the wings." he explained, the summoning and dismissing of wings was usually a painful and bloody one.

☽"I used to think like that... though of course, unlike you, being good was a good thing to my people." he stated, his eyes narrowed, "Of course, then I learned that this world is a 'kill or be killed' type of world." he added, unable to reveal his true reasons for changing his way, though it wasn't a lie, this land was certainly a dangerous one.


'Curse?' Draven wondered, watching the girl as she stepped back, he wasn't usually confortable with people being too close, Flynn being the exception, not that he could make her change her way. The demon again stirred as she smiled towards the Angel, it wanted to badly to warn the girl, tell her to run before the truth was out, but the Angel wouldn't let him speak, even if he wondered why Borknar was so riled up. "What curse?" he asked Evangeline, he wasn't shy to ask such a question, even if the answer was a difficult one to reveal.

☽Draven couldn't agree on that, it was the human world that he found cruel, the humans were all so weak and to allow demons and angels to reside... it was unfair. This world, at least, most had a chance to go down swinging, humans couldn't even throw a punch before being taken down. "Life works in a funny way, I guess." though it was only funny for someone with a twisted mind.

Draven leaned back again and watched at the played with the water, he hadn't gotten bored and flown away yet, that was rare. "That's a fair point." he nodded when she mentioned their secrets, he was in no rush to share his secrets. With all that had happened, Draven didn't think he had a chance in hell to turn back into an Angel.

"And you havent." he stated, he would have done it, in the state that he was in, though he knew that with the way he was an an Angel, he wouldn't have either. "Though, it isn't like you could either, since you can't harm others without it being to protect someone you love." he added, he didn't understand what she had to lose though, she was already a demon, turning whatever Angelic being the had left into a fallen angel couldn't make it any worse.

Draven nodded, it was a tempting offer, one life for years worth of pain, a fair offer being that most worlds were over-populated anyways. He was a cruel thinker, he wasn't the type to see things in a soft matter, not anymore. "and if she just happens to die, which isn't rare in the world we live in... would you be still stuck with the curse?" he wondered, if so, being in her shoes, he would've just killed the woman.



"My regrets don't matter, no regret makes up for my actions and there are no ways to right my wrongs." he stated with a smile smile, a sad smile but he couldn't change the past and probably wouldn't either. Draven couldn't even put a pin on what exactly he regretted, there were too many things to chose from.

"and you aren't worried of her death sealing your deal? anyone else would pounce at the chance." he pointed out, it seemed like a cruel thing to say but it was the truth, not many people would choose a life of pain instead of giving someone else a painless death. This world was different, killing another wasn't a big deal, letting them live was.


"I couldn't promise I won't." he admitted, Draven was the type to poke fun at people before sending them off to a painful dead... at least as a ruler he did. "Are your eyes usual... to demons?" he wondered, he'd only seen eyes like those in past victims of his rage, including Borkner himself. 'They are.' the demon insisted, hoping for his offspring's life that she'd agree, though maybe the angel's rampage was over, it'd been long since it happened and the Angel wasn't a bad ruler, as much as it bothered the demon to admit.

Draven took the cloth, though he didn't think Evangeline would do anything with it... not that trusting anyone in this land was a good idea. "Thank you." he nodded, meaning for the cloth, he tucked in into the pocket of his jeans, not standing up from the boulder to do so, he was quite comfortable there. He watched the girl causiously, "I didn't think they were usual, very nice eyes you have." he said, leaning forward for once, his elbows on his knees.


"Your father. Borkner?" he asked, though it was an obvious answer, she didn't look like him aside from the eyes, though they were definetly his. "He didn't." Draven denied with a shake of his head, terrible didn't begin to explain but Draven would linger on the thoughts for now. "I just found them familiar." he explained, dropping his gaze to the grass below him for a while before bringing it back up to the girl, "Though, you didn't seem too pleased to sense him." he added, she'd probably guessed by then that the demon was serving his time for his actions, soulbound to the angel himself. "I gave up heaven for this, that I don't regret." he added, he wasn't going to pretend he wasn't torturing her father and would continue to do so until his time to die came.
