GOOD MORNING"Sounds like it! I've met nothing but nice guys." She had yet to meet a fellow female, but she knew they existed; there were a few in the infirmary, but none were on her rounds. Harley was smiling away, pleased with the conversation and the idea of actually having one.
"I will!" She announced, holding her hand up as if she were making a solemn pledge. "I've only fought Casanova. He's like my Mama bird, since he woke me up." Which supposedly meant that she was now his responsibility - and poor, poor Dylon for that. "But when you get out, spar? Promise?" But then she was hugging him, holding onto the poor wounded potato like it meant the world.
"It's okay, you certainly sound brave. I'd be a blubbering mess if I had..." She gestured to his face, but after a moment simply gestured to all of him. He had taken quite a few injuries, after all. Eventually she did release him, and resumed her perch on the edge of his bed, her head turned to continue looking at him.
She may have been holding herself, mildly uncomfortable with the idea of a human skeleton with the potential of being so close to her room.
"...Where in the basement?"

The Thought That CountsOliver held back a little sob as Molly patted his shoulder, wiping his eyes again. "I-I'll probably like them all a lot..." He was so touched by the gesture, all those plushies and cookies, and milk to go with them, why couldn't he not cry over it for once? He picked up a bag hesitantly, and then looked up at the older hunter with bright, shiny eyes before opening it. "C-can I have one now?"

GOOD MORNING"There's some pretty scary people on the intranet's Twitter..." Oliver muttered, " B-but it could just be me." His self-depreciating statement was delivered with a sheepish smile, bordering on wry. Despite what Harley said, he knew... Well, he thought... Recent events had given him pause, but when he tried to fit his actions on the mission into the impressions he had of himself, everything just got scrambled and confused in his mind. Had he been brave? And what did that say about him after all? Oliver closed his eyes and rubbed his head. It was easier to just forget all those thoughts entirely. "I-it's n-not so bad, um..." He struggled to put his thoughts back together. "I-It's okay, I'm not- I-I wasn't that attractive to begin with." Another self-depreciating smile as he thought about that face wound. "N-not like you, your face is very pretty- um... yeah..." The boy trailed off, once again red-faced and avoiding her glance. "I-I d-d-don't remember b-but Milo knows," he stammered quickly.

Arorangi just gave Oliver's shoulder another reassuring squeeze, and then they went back to present opening, because sometimes not saying anything at all was better than anything he could have said.
"Yes, you can wear that any time!" Arorangi said brightly. "I hope it is the right size, I got you a medium."
He pushed more presents in the other boy's direction - several of which would turn out to be brightly colored, squishy dinosaur plushes.

GOOD MORNING"...We have twitter?!" Harley gasped, eyes wide. The Hunters had a twitter? Like secret twitter? Did the dude who made that website even know they ripped it off? Huh. She had begun to gaze into the distance, and it took her a moment to come back to the conversation, namely around the attractive bit.
"Whaaaat? Nooo, no nono, you're a total cutie!" She even reached out to very, very lightly pinched his cheek. "Like I said, I haven't met an ugly dude yet!" Patting the spot she had pinched, she leaned away again, and waved her hand in dismissal. "Pshaw, I'm not any nicer than the next girl, but thanks, P.O!" Good ol' Patient One, being super sweet.
"Can you point him out to me sometime? I'd like to know if I should take up residence somewhere else."

Cheers! Finn was not on shift, but if he wanted to continue to be in the future, he had to be very careful with what he was about to do. Sneaking in to see Oliver out of visiting hours wasn't really a big deal. He could pretend he was there to check on patients that he'd seen the previous night, feign concern over one or two of them, if it was necessary. Fortunately, it wasn't, and he was able to stroll into the curtained off area that was Oliver's room without any trouble whatsoever. It was only a few minutes after midnight. "Wake up, Princess." Finn leaned in close to the bed and flicked Oliver on the end of his nose.

you say goodbye, I say KIA ORA MATEOliver nodded, "I-it looks really, ouch, comfortable, I'll definitely wear it!" He hugged the sweater to his chest as Aro pushed more gifts in his direction. It would certainly fit, yet since having filled out some with muscle, it wouldn't leave the poor boy swimming in the soft fabric. "What am I going to do with all of this?" He asked, setting the sweater to one side. Unwrapping one plush dinosaur made him smile, and by the time he got the third unwrapped the last evidence of his sappy crying had vanished. "Aro, what am I going to with all of these?" He repeated with another laugh. Three, and then a fourth, the dinosaurs were lined up along the far side of the bed, where the hospital rails kept them from falling onto the floor.

GOOD MORNINGOliver nodded, "I can show you that too, once I get my phone back." The kid had always been a little nervous about his phone, since most of it's messages were summons for coffee, or shift changes, but it wasn't until it was taken away that he realized how much he had gotten used to it. He had been reassured it would be returned to him shortly, when it wouldn't disturb his rest. "I-I w-wasn't ugly," Oliver clarified, leaving unsaid that he might be considered that now depending on what was hiding under the bandages. His blushing was terrible, and he was quick to move along since he didn't know how to insist to a girl they were pretty. Not in any way that didn't sound pathetic or desperate or something... Oliver nodded once more. "H-he is like... a superhero or something, you'll probably know him when you see him. He's really, uh, optimistic and brave... B-but I think he said the bones were really old, and they mostly got removed when they washed up."

Cheers! "Nng... Ow," Oliver protested, slowly waking up from the heavy sleep Finn had found him in. Even as he reached up to gingerly touch his nose below the bandages, he found it difficult to actually rouse himself after all the medications that had been pumped into his system. After a minute recognition lit up his pale eyes. "Finn, hi," he said sleepily, smiling as though he had not just been awakened in a very rude manner. "What time... is it? Are you on duty today?"

Cheers! The small cry of pain was faintly satisfying, and Finn grinned his typical cold grin, while straightening and waiting for the younger man to shake off sleep. Reaching into one of his pockets, he pulled out a flask, before leaning to twitch the curtain to the side, taking a quick peek to make sure nobody was heading in their general direction. All was quiet. Apparently whoever was on duty was completely slacking off. He leaned back again. "It's exactly five minutes after midnight, so I thought I would stop in and say, Happy Birthday, princess." his voice was low, quiet, and he moved to seat himself in the chair near Oliver's bed side. "And since you're legal drinking age now, I brought you something." He held up the flask, wiggling it back and forth in the air, still grinning away.

Arorangi was clearly very pleased by Oliver being pleased by the gifts. He hadn't been too sure of what to get his friend, and so had just grabbed the first things that he had seen that had reminded him of the younger boy. Dinosaurs had been at the top of his list, and so there was somewhat of an excess of them.
"You put them on display! Put them on your bed!" said Arorangi brightly, clapping his hands together. He nudged another present closer, which upon being unwrapped, would turn out to be a dorky looking teeshirt.

Cheers! It took a second for Oliver to process all that. "Midnight- Finn, y-you could get in trouble!" He insisted in a hissed voice, pushing himself up into a more seated position nonetheless. "It's... wait, it's not my birthday, what day is it?" The sleepy teen frowned. Then a bit of red crept into his cheeks. "I-is it?" With all that had happened recently it was natural for him to be a bit confused, especially on trivial things like the date. Confused and doubtful, Oliver wasn't in the habit of celebrating his birthday, nor had he ever expected anyone to be aware of it. But his eyes followed the 'present' Finn pulled out anyway. "What is that?"

you say goodbye, I say KIA ORA MATE"You'll have to put them on my bed for me, I still can't leave," Oliver replied with a wistful tone. "I feel a lot better though!" He insisted. It was even partly true, Jökul had been dutifully fixing him up, but there was more to it than his weapon could heal. Oliver hadn't even spoken about the mission yet. When he pulled off the paper and unfolded the t-shirt to have a look at it, he laughed. "Where did you find all these things? I thought stuff like this was hard to find for adults." Oliver laid out the shirt across his lap, since holding his arms over his head to see it was out of the question. Then suddenly his mouth twisted, trying his hardest not to laugh out loud. When he finally spoke, it was a an amused murmur. " You probably wouldn't look amiss... shopping for a very large child."

Cheers! Finn scoffed. "What's the worst that could happen?" As for the birthday part, Finn waited a few beats not saying a word, just waiting for Oliver's brain to catch up with him, for the young man to realize that yes it was, indeed, his birthday. Finally the moon hunter nodded in affirmation. "It is." he confirmed, waiting just a bit longer for that to sink in. And then once he seemed up to speed. "It's whiskey." A grin, and he held it out towards the younger man. "Your very first drink as an adult isn't going to be some fruity little girl drink, even if you are a ******** princess."

Cheers! Oliver should have known better, whenever Finn began to smile anyone with any sense would be on their guard. "I-I don't need to drink, even if it is, uh, my birthday," he protested weakly. It seemed he had woken up to the point where he knew his point was invalid as far as Finn was concerned, because he took the flask anyway. Slowly he uncapped it, hesitantly sniffed it, and gave Finn one last reluctant glance before taking a quick drink. Immediately the boy was coughing and spluttering, unable to form any words to express his shock, but the glare he shot his sadistic friend was as close to accusatory as anything.
