Yumi sighed as she gently placed the soaked towel on Rune's head. She looked up at Allen as he explained who he was and who the unconscious boy was. She was taken aback as she learned that the boy was actually the one who she had seen in the alleyway. "So then... He was affected by that weird shadow... I guess...?" she thought as she sighed. It was a lot to take in. The boy, who she now learned was Allen, had claimed to be a new kid at her school, "R-really? I'm Yumi..." she introduced. She examined the boy for a bit, "He threw you out a window? Are you hurt as well?" she asked as she bit her lip, wondering if she should tend to him as well.
"So... What was that whole flying thing you had going on earlier?" she asked, twiddling her thumbs as she did. She was curious as to how he could have pulled off such a stunt. it looked almost... magical. It reminded her of the day she discovered her power over fire, the day everything went wrong for her. She bit her lip again and looked up at Allen. (OOC: I was thinking of changing her age to 17 or 18 so that they could all be closer in age.)

Allen looked at Yumi curiously. "Same way you can spit flames out of fingers, sweet heart." He nudged his shoulder back, bouncing off the wall and holding out his hand in Yumi's general direction. "I can make you fly with the flick of a finger." He snapped his fingers and a gust of air blew at the female, her skirt flying up. "Sleeping tomboy over there is a bit harder, as he weighs more then myself. Kid needs some help with his abilities."
He sat on the floor and crossed his legs. "I saw him create those shadows, sweet heart." He fixed his glasses, leaning back and removing his over shirt. The shirt had been cut in various places among the splinters stuck out here and there. "Eh, nothing a bandaid can't fix. Though I'm going to need another shirt...." He groaned at the damage, nothing has ever caused this must trouble for him. Then again, he found these two....amusing. Dropping the shirt on her floor he stood up. "I've got to head back, I'll be back tomorrow to take him to my house. Wouldn't want him causing you to much trouble. Just....try not to scare him, I've found he's easily startled...." He explained all this while walking to her window. "Till then." He grinned, opening it and flying out.
Landing on the concrete of the side walk, Allen took to his walk. The thing he called home....hopefully wasn't empty at this time of day. But his parents probably left for work this morning. Made he'll eat out for dinner? He never knew, he'd have to see if his parents even left anything from dinner for him.
Yumi's eyes widened as he called her out on her secret, "How do you..." she stopped as a gust of wind blew towards her and flipped her skirt. She pushed down her skirt, her face turning a bright red as she looked at him angrily, "You...!" she stuttered, at a loss of words. Allen sat down and began to take off his shirt. She looked away at first, before slowly turning her head and seeing the tiny cuts he had all over his body. She was about to offer to help before Allen suddenly decided to leave. "Ah! But-" it was too late, he had jumped out her window and left. She watched him disappear and sighed, 'Strange...' she thought as she glanced back at the boy on the ground. She sighed and scratched the back of her head, trying to figure out what to do with him. "I guess he could sleep here..." she said as she knelt down to help him up. She pulled his arm around her shoulder and lifted him onto her bed, pulling the blanket over him.
She sighed and walked towards the kitchen and began to take out some ingredients for stew. She thought that if the had woken up, he would be hungry as well so she made a little bit extra. "Kuro! Dinner!" she called as she took off the apron she was wearing. Her brother had turned the corner and sat himself down at the table. Yumi placed a plate of stew in front of him and put one in front of her own chair. She sat down and began to eat, as did Kuro. "Sooo sis. Who were those boys? And why is one of them still in your room?" he asked as he took a mouthful. Yumi nearly choked as she heard him say that,"Uhh... Friends... One of them is not feeling his best and his house isn't very near here so he's staying until he feels better..." she explained as she took a few more bites. Her brother raised an eyebrow then nodded.
Yumi had finished her food and began to put away the dishes. She wrapped saran wrap on top of the bowl of stew she left for Rune and placed a note beside it explaining how he got here and that he was free to stay the night. Yumi then took out some extra blankets and placed them on the couch for her to sleep for the night then left a glass of water on her bedside table for Rune before sitting down at the dining table to do some homework.

As Rune was unconscious, he was having a rather vivid...well...it wasn't much of a dream as it was a nightmare...or something much more real. He seemed to be in his own version of purgatory, where he was surrounded by a thick cloud smoke. Then, the smoke started moving around him, forming into some sort of creature. It stared at him with big red eyes. However, before he could react, he had appeared to come too back into the real world, waking up in a cold sweat.
He found himself in another room. He was very confused as he then noticed a bowl of stew and a note next to him. He read the note, but was even more confused than anything else. He wanted to get out. As he opened the window about to jump out, his stomach let out a low grumble. He was obviously hungry. He looked at the stew that was given to him and decided to eat that first before leaving.

Yumi yawned as she realized that it was getting late. She decided to get a pair of pajamas from her room and then sleep. She got up from the table and walked to her room, where she saw Rune eating the stew, "Oh. You're awake." She said as she walked towards him, "Your friend, Allen, dropped you off here... he said it would get you in the morning. Are you feeling alright?" she asked as she grabbed her pajamas from her closet and turned back towards him. She looked at him suspiciously, "This is the boy from the alleyway... why did he run away?' she thought. She then realized the window had been opened, "Were you trying to run again..." she sighed as she rested her forehead in her fingers, "You're still pretty pale. Take it easy, you can sleep her tonight. No questions. I'll be in the living room if you need something. I guess I'm responsible for you until tomorrow morning anyway." she instructed, similar to the way a mother might scold. As childish and stubborn as she was, she had grown up trying to raise her little brother, she had a slight mother's instinct. She took her stuff and left. She sighed as she sat on the couch. Her brother was already asleep and she was dead tired. She stared at her hands, remembering the burning feeling she felt in them. The frightening sensation that she had always felt when she used her power was there again. But as scary as it was... it felt natural. She sighed and laid her head on her pillow.

Gray
Gray was walking along the sidewalk, heading home from school, when across the street he noticed someone was getting mugged by some no good thugs. There were gangs like that scattered through out the city, and they were vicious. Gray had learned what he needed to do to not get noticed, and that was stay out of it. The poor sap should have learned the rules of the streets. At the start of the commotion, he fled into a nearby alleyway and climbed a ladder connected to one of the apartment building and scaled his way to the top. Even if he didn't want to get involved, his curiosity wouldn't let leave without keeping an eye out.
The fight took a turn for the strange as the boy getting mugged seemed to take a shadowy ethereal form, the bullets passing through. And when a shadow popped out of his chest and charged the girl, he got his second surprise as she quickly threw up a fiery shield. What was the luck in finding two people like himself? He wanted a closer look, and so took to rooftop jumping until he was looking down on the scene, out of sight, but could hear what was happening.
The girl had disappeared, probably an off after the display. People were scattering, going back to their business, pretending nothing had happened. The shadow boy had disappeared too. Gray sighed exasperatedly to himself. He needed to pay attention more. There was nothing to do but continue home. He decided he would come back again later in the day after he finished up his homework to see if he could find the strangers with magical abilities like himself.
Homework completed, he slipped out of his chaotic house unnoticed, back on the rooftops, this time in the residential areas. 30 minutes into his search he found the girl from earlier sitting on her rooftop. That was when shadow boy and some other kid floated onto the roof. Floated. There was three others with powers now? How had he not known about them sooner? He'd only spent 17 years in this city. The girl, he thought, was Yumi, from one of his classes. The other two he had never seen before.
He watched some sort of interaction take place, and the wind boy left leaving the passed out shadow boy on her roof. Gray decided to camp out on the roof for an opportunity to speak with any of them, At least he could talk to Yumi at school the net day. And so he waited.
Allen flew up to the roof tops, making a small game out of it as he skipped from one building to another. He grinned at his game only to fall flat on his face when he tripped over a boy. "Ow! Damn it- what the hell man?!" He rolled over to argue, only for his nose to start bleeding pretty well. "s**t-" he pinched his nose, the cuts on his shirtless body stinging with the chilly breeze. He left out a hiss while he tried getting his nose under control.
"Does one always camp on a room on a school night?" His voice comng out strange do to the pinching. "You're a strange one, I'll give you that." He chuckled and flinched with a hiss at the stinging muscles. He really should have taken the girls offer when he had a chance. For all he knows these cuts were going to get infected with how dirty his home would get, living practically alone while having parents like his.

Gray
Gray was staring very intently at Yumi's window to try and get a glimpse of her or the boy with the shadows, when a boy tripped over him, tumbled, cursing fluently, and pinching his nose to stop the sudden spurt of blood. Gray himself had been knocked over, but uninjured so he stood up and dusted himself off. "Oh, here.." He summoned a ball of water and used it to cool the boy's injuries and wipe off the dried blood. "And to be fair, you were the one skipping on the roof tops, not paying attention. But I supposed this does stand for a bit of an explanation. I saw what happened earlier in the street with that shadow boy. You were there too right? You control wind. And that girl." He pointed at Yumi's house. "Controls fire. I'm a bit curious as I've never met another with abilities like mine, and now I've seen three in one day."
Yumi had just begun to close her eyes and fall asleep, thinking about the events that had happened that day. It was a lot to sleep on, a little more than she could handle. Sudden flashbacks had come back to her from the day of the fire, and her eyes had shot open. She was breathing heavily and she could feel the red began to form in her eyes. She sighed and wiped the sweat from her brow, feeling the urge to take a walk. Usually she would sit for a while on the roof, but she wanted to leave Rune in her room alone. She sighed and grabbed a pop from her fridge, checking to see the time. She sighed as she realized that it was much too late for her to take a walk. She made her way towards the window in the living room and opened it up, leaning her elbow on the windowsill. She opened up her pop and took a sip as she stared into the night. She reached her hand out in front of her and let the cold wind sooth it. She looked around to make sure her brother wasn't awake then lit a tiny flame in her palm. She stared at it, leaning her head into her free arm. She watched as the flame flickered and she sighed. As much as she hated fire, she found it almost... beautiful. She was afraid to use her power, but this was something that she often did. It was her guilty pleasure.

Rune slightly jumped when Yumi walked in. She seemed surprised that he was awake. She mentioned a friend of his dropping him off and she offered him to stay in her room until she walked out. He was confused. He didn't have any friends, and he sure didn't want to stay. However...the bed was really soft and comfortable...more comfortable than any bed he has ever slept on. He was a bit curious as he layed down on the bed and his eyes got heavy. After that, he closed his eyes and went to sleep.
Allen flinched when he felt something wet touch his sides. "Whoa!" He looked down, water was against his skin, washing away the dried blood. He blinked a few times and poked the moving water. Then looked up at Grey once more. "Wait, you were there?" Releasing his nose Allen stood to his feet. Looking Grey up and down. Sighing he held out his hand. "Yeah, well, you better not tell anyone. I think Yumi would faint if anyone found out about her, she's got something going on in that head of hers. His hand rubbed the back of his neck as he looked at her room, eyebrows narrowing when the boy tried leaving.
His pointer finger started twirling in a circle, light breezes gathering at the tip of his finger. He's have to keep a close eye on this kid if he planned on leaving... The Yumi came back into the room, for some reason the boy went back. Allen released his hold on the wind, crossing his arms. "You go to the same school as her, right?" He took a moment, but his eyes traveled back to Grey. "I'll see you at school, we can all talk there. I'll see if I can't bring 'Shadow Boy' or not." He smiled and ruffled Grey's hair. "See you tomorrow, kid." Allen turned and jumped into the air, zooming off with another breeze...
Come the next morning, Allen had found bandaids, as his back was covered in them. He tugged on his tie while he walked to Yumi's, knocking on her door. "Gah, this thing is horrible..." He grumbled, waiting for her to open the door. When it finally opened he waved to the munchkin she called a brother. "Is dark, scared and escape artist here this morning?" He asked with a smirk, speaking about the shadow boy from last night. "Hopefully he hasn't caused to much trouble."

Yumi sighed and closed up her palm, extinguishing her flame. She closed her window and poured herself a glass of water before pulling a blanket over herself and sleeping on the couch.
The next morning, as usual, Yumi was awake making breakfast for her brother. She ended up making a little bit extra since she realized that Rune might be hungry when he woke up. She put down the last of her cooking on the dining table and took off her apron so she just wore her uniform. "Kuro! Breakfast!" she called as she set her apron off to the side. No second later, there was a knocking at the door. She unlocked the door and opened it up to see Allen wearing her school uniform. Kuro hid behind her as he watched. "Morning." she said as she pushed her brother lightly towards the food, telling him to go eat. "He's still asleep I think, I left him in my room." she explained as she let him in and closed the door behind him. She tied her hair up in a ponytail and sighed as she walked back towards the dining room, "You're welcome to come eat if you like, I made quite a bit extra. Help yourself." she explained as she sat down beside her brother and began to eat.
Her brother sat down too, but often glanced over at Allen, "Hey mister." He began, "Are you my sister's boyfriend?" he asked rather bluntly. Yumi nearly choked on her food as he spoke, "A-a-a-a-a-a-absolutely not Kuro! No Way! Not at all!" she defended as her face blushed softly. She sighed before eating her food quickly and putting her plate away, "Anyway... Hurry up and eat, I'll drop you off this morning." she instructed as she began to walk towards her room, "Oh yeah, I'm working at Trebles today so come visit after your school is done. Tori loves seeing you there anyway." she informed, speaking of her manager at the music shop she worked at.
'Kid? Did he just call me a kid?.... And he ruffled my hair as if I were some sort of child!' Grey was a little bit shocked at how quickly Wind Boy made his exit. He hadn't even given a name. The nerve of some people. And rude. Grey had never experienced the feeling of another person having superiority over him. But the whole incident had been a whirlwind with that boy taking charge and talking down on him, that he was still stunned. Grey quickly scaled the building down to the alley way and headed to one of his stashes.
All around town were stashes of his clothing, food, equipment and such since often times, he would stay out in the spur of the moment similar to last night. He had brought his bookbag with him and quickly stuffed clothing and food into it and headed towards the highschool. It was a bit early for school to start, but the gym had a shower that he could use to clean himself up a little bit. 30 minutes later, feeling refreshed, he headed over to the courtyard to wait. Windy had promised to talk about it here, and he expected that promise to be kept. After all, he was rather curious.

Allen sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "Are you serious? That man can sleep through the armegeden, I swear." He whined, coming in and standing in the kitchen door way. Never one for eating breakfast, he looked around, picking a bit off of Yumi's plate and sticking it in his mouth. "Hmm..." The the munchkin asked a question.
He leaned up straight and chuckled. "I don't think your sister could handle a guy like me. I go with the wind way to much." He smirked and turned to head down the hall, stepping over the food he went into Yumi's room. "Hey, man." He called, grumpily walking over and nudging the sleeping male. "Come on, wake up. And try not to throw me this time. I have school and you're coming with us." He explained, pulling one of his uniforms out of his bag. It wouldn't be perfect but it would fit better then anyone else.
"Put that on then we can hang out with Yumi and another guy." He left again, one with quick breezes. "Yumi, I'll meet you at school, and bring him along. I've got somebody waiting for me." He announced, waving real quick and again he was out the door. He spun as he headed to school, looking around for the blue haired boy from the night before. Smiling when he found him in the courtyard. "Hey kid!" He called as he rushed over.
I have an idea! Would you listen? It will involve more than just two of us, four or six maybe...
You can help with the idea to! Check this out!
Four kids (Or six, we're not sure yet) who have never met, have one thing in common, power. These kids have had the ability manipulate an element their entire lives. Some kept it to themselves, other's used it to their advantage. When a new user reveals her/him self and starts causing problems around the village...will the kids find other element users and stop the chaos? Or hide in quiet until everything dies down?
The class president- open The prankster- open The shy kid- open The otaku- open (Possible two spots
the outcast- open the new kid- open)
Elements are the basic four, fire, water, earth, air the other elements that could help are Dark and Light. they stay hidden until they are really needed.
Wanna help e with my idea? Quote me or PM me!
Sounds like allot of fun, interesting story idea too, would love to help in any way possible!
