He laughed and shook the box in front of them. "All the boxes, almost like free gift boxes I don't have to buy later on." Wow that sounded so cheap coming out of his mouth! but the guy decided to explain his situation before it got taken the wrong way. "Don't get me wrong. I meant to buy some gift boxes and bags for the holidays after the secret santa thing. Turns out my gift came with freebies." He stopped shaking the box and kept it close against his chest. "It is a nice thoughtful gift nonetheless. There aren't that many people out there that can afford a real one to give away." He looked at her and her fire pokemon. A Luxury Ball hmm?? "Whatever you catch in the future would be so happy." He looked down at Masked Socks again, who seemed to have lost interest in his Torchic already, then back at Alexa. "Are you perhaps a fire pokemon trainer?" Sia had been watching Chic Ken Pox since her trainer was busy chatting away. She wondered if that's what all torchics looked like. After being saved by Niko, she never really saw another of her kind. Until now. "Si, Sia!" She called out at Chic Ken Pox as she flapped her wings up and down.

FrostyPeaches Ha just noticed now that you got his journal all updated that he's older than Alexa and his hometown is where she used to live. Alexa laughed at what he said and how he tried to keep from sounding cheap. Not that there was anything wrong with that. She knew what it was like living on a budget. "Hey it's a good idea to reuse the boxes." She replied with a shrug, "Perhaps now it'll be some time before you need to buy more." She nodded with a grin. "It is a nice gift. Plus it could be educational. Now you know what one potentially looks like so if you come across something like it you know to grab it. It could be a real one and if not... hey you got a pretty stone." She said, "Yeah I hope so. I don't know if I'll be catching another pokemon any time soon but now I'm ready. Ha is it obvious? Yeah I specialize in fire types. Granted I do have a pokemon who isn't but Stribog is sort of the exception." Chic Ken Pox tilted his head at Sia. "Torrrr." He peeped before flapping his little wings to get liftoff and flew/climbed up onto Alexa's head. He circled about for a moment before nesting in the hat. "You're really odd colored for a Torchic. Are you sure you are on?" He chirped at Sia.

Cygnus waved in the direction of Alexa's retreating voice. Fin gathered her scattered prizes back into their box, then stooped to haul Caddie into her arms. The Delibird was snoring now, and didn't wake even as she was plopped over her trainer's shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "Ready to go?" Fin asked.
"Very." They'd all enjoyed the excursion, Cygnus was sure, but it was getting late. Hester, too, was asleep, but silent. She was warm in his scarf, and he could feel her tiny, slow breaths against his neck. Cygnus tucked the Pikachu plush under one arm and held out his other hand to Fin, who took it in her own and pulled him in close beside her.
"Tennyo!" The big Altaria emerged from her Pokéball grumbling, and exaggeratedly stretching her wings and neck with an accusatory glare at her trainer. "Oh, you weren't in there that long. Come on, let's go flying."
Complaints aside, Tennyo waited patiently as the humans clambered aboard, though she spared a disapproving snort for the inert lump of Caddie.
"Whenever you're ready, lady," Fin finally said, patting Tennyo's shoulder. Cygnus, perched behind her, tightened his arms around the trainer's waist.
The Altaria launched herself aloft, and the strange little family were flying home.

Bluedemonwolf I was browsing the places he could have lived in to create a better background story and Motterossa seemed to fit him best. Perhaps they can have a future rp session as we wrap this one up? (: He knew that she laughed at him and he gave in. "Fine call me cheap. I can't help it since I finally got a new job and all. I'm still not used to living in Katarina. Especially living alone. That's something new. Shifting from a rural place to the city." Noko just listened as she talked about pokemon. "I'm taking that your party is full?" He looked over at her Torchic again. "It's obvious to me that you're a fire trainer," he replied to her bluntly. "Maybe one day these two could have a friendly battle." From what he could tell, the two Torchics were curiously looking at each other with deep interest. "Sia!," she chirped out. "How am I odd? Don't they all look like me and you?" she asked Chic Ken Pox. Till this day she had never looked at herself in a mirror yet. She assumed that she looked like him in similar colouration. "I am a Torchic, Niko saved me from dying."

FrostyPeaches Yeah Motterossa is a nice little town. They certainly can! I'm not able to be online as much as I used to but I can still rp a little. Plus I'm sure you saw me quote you in the festival thread. XD Alexa laughed again and shook her head. "Hey nothing wrong with being cheap. I mean... I'm cheap too. I only get some money from battling and what allowance my parents send me." She said. Listening to what else he said made her grin. "It is different shifting from rural to the city.... but even more is going from rural to wilderness. I'm originally from Ecruteak City but then I moved over here to Motterossa. I eventually moved from there and now live in a house in the middle of the woods way up north. There's no one around save for pokemon." She nodded and smiled. "Yeah my party just sort of expanded after I moved away from the city and town. I have a few pokemon over the allowed party size. I either keep them at home or if I keep their pokeballs on me I don't use them." She explained, "Well I'm hoping to one day open my own gym up and have it be a fire type gym but we'll see. So far I haven't had luck with gym leader hirings. Yeah maybe one day they can. I'm hoping Pox will be a battler like some of my other pokemon." Chic Ken Pox looked at Sia and cocked his head. Did she really not know how odd she was. "Most look like me not you." He said not really explaining the difference between them. After all he thought she knew she was green! "Clearly you're a Torchic! Shape-wise at least! But your color is one I've never seen before." He chirped back puffing up and then shaking himself, "So your human saved you.. .big deal. Can't always trust them to keep you alive, safe, or even just with them! My trainer is my second one now. My old one said we'd be together and now look! I'm not with him... the liar."

Bluedemonwolf I read the description about each place and then went by how it will tie in with my character's personality. haha i don't expect rp time every day. i prefer slow rps anyway since i'm slow. and i saw your quote in the festival orp XD wasn't sure if you were going to join that one. He nodded in amazement at the girl. She looked old enough and yet get allowance from her parents? "I get money from my job only since well, I am pretty s**t at battling still. I bet a ten year old can whoop my butt!" He can't help but laugh at how pathetic he is compared to the trainer that stood in front of him. His interest, however, peaked when she mentioned Motterossa. "What a coincidence, I used to live in Motterossa. Moved to Katarina to find a better job. Which luckily, I got." He just laughed at her describing her new homely environment. "As long as you don't turn into a mess, you should be fine with where you are living. My parents are still in Motterossa, i send my paycheques back to them at times. In  of course. They don't know how to use the new systems so I have it safely transferred through the pc." The topic on oversized pokemon in her party intrigued him. "Having over 6 is not so bad. You could switch them out once in a while." Perhaps I ought to do that too. "It makes sense how you have so many fire pokemon now. I wish you luck in becoming a gym trainer!" He held out a hand to shake hers. The Torchic got a little confused. "Look like you? What about me? I look like you too!" Now she started to wonder if she was even orangey-red colour like Chic. "Niko watches over all of us. He is not a bad trainer." She was convinced that he would never leave her since she sure as heck does not want to leave his side, ever.

FrostyPeaches Same. Which is why I had Alexa living there before things just worked out to where she moved. I don't either but I'm usually pretty good about replying as soon as I see I need to.... unless I just flounder about for a reply. Sometime the muse just leaves. Yeah I like joining the orp when they happen. "Well it still must be nice to have a job that's paying you. You probably make more than I do when I battle." She said with a small chuckle, "If that's the case it just means you need practice. With practice you'll get better." She widened her eyes when she heard that he also used to live in Motterossa. "Wow with how small that town was... or is... you would think that we would have met before this." She nodded with a small laugh, "Yeah well we'll see how that works. I have to chase the ghost pokemon out at times. Sometimes I wonder if it would have been better if I had just stayed in Motterossa but then I probably wouldn't have met so many of my pokemon." "That's nice that you send them money. I'm sure they appreciate it." She replied, "I do switch them out once in a while. Usually Stribog is the only one who is with me all the time due to him being my only flying pokemon. It's how I get from home to anywhere else. So much faster than walking or riding on Vincent's back." She took his hand and shook it. "Thanks! If I ever get a gym you should stop by sometime. Always good to challenge a gym..... not that I have done that yet. I hear Shina is like crazy strong so I want to make sure my pokemon can handle her's." Chic Ken Pox shook his head. "Only the shape is the same. We're definitely not the same color... nor do we have similar markings." He chirped before preening a wing, "Well I wish you all the best in that regard. May your trainer never change."
