m i s s Rieux Me too! Though, my pain eases a little the more water I drink. What pain are you experiencing? *worried* I get pain mostly in my knees, ankles, wrists and fingers. Sometimes my back hurts too. It's really bad when I wake up. I can't do a lot with my hands when I wake up, like opening a bottle or unscrewing my ecig. I don't know whether it's years of the depo shot or arthritis. My dad had arthritis at 18 and my gma has it too. I've never been to a doctor here about it but the ones back in MO basically told me in a nicer way I was full of crap without even running tests or looking at me. But when I used to go to the chiropractor once a week I would pop like a machine gun going off. *I'm determined to drink this bottle of water before I eat* Haha.

That sounds horrible. I'm sorry that you have to go through that pain. Have you ever heard of MSM? They say it relieves pain.
Currently, I'm in the habit of drinking my morning cup of boiled water, but still struggling on taking water throughout the day. Drank a bottle today, and also only one yesterday. Feeling a bit dry. XD*whispers* Cumin seeds. So. Friggen. Nummy.

How are you? I love your Christmas avi! Thanks! :3 I'm okay. Have 4 more days of work ahead of me. :/ I slept in today so I only get like 20 minutes on the computer. Ugh. I'm ready for my week back home. I'm just as excited about not working for a week as I am seeing my family. xD

I'm pretty bad about water, and I'm going through three different minor ailments. I'm going to start this tomorrow! I buy gallons of alkaline water, but it always takes me like a whole week to go through one! gonk

Spenelli m i s s Rieux Methyl-sulphyl-methane. Here: [link] Nuuu! C'mon, Captain! *cheers with pompoms* c; Oh, that's interesting! I'll have to eat more foods with MSM and see if it helps. You can buy MSM in crystalline form, in capsules or in bulk. If you have any form of arthritis, it's a good idea to supplement it instead of hoping to get enough of it through the foods you eat. Glucosamine helps with joint inflammation, too, and it also helps you repair joint damage caused by the inflammation. You can buy it in capsules or tablets. (I recommend the capsules -- the tablets are large and hard to swallow.) Also, the form matters -- Glucosamine Sulfate is the easiest for to assimilate. Check with the nearest heath food store. They are bound to have both.

I don't think these health challenges are appropriate for me.
Is it ok to post my own health goals here or should I post a them in a new thread or maybe a journal?

I have been drinking more water though, a lot more than before. :3 So even if I fail I'm doing better, haha.

I'm having a serious problem that may be caused by dehydration.
The past 3 days I have had terrible chest pains. Using the power of google I stumbled on a thread of people saying they have the same problem, and that drinking water makes the pain go away.
So I looked up signs of dehydration, and sure enough, there was chest pain.
This is a wake up call. It isn't about being fit anymore. It's about staying alive. I have to get serious.
Thanks to my chest pain I have drank 24 ounces of water this morning already before any food.
I have learned the recommended water intake is now different. They suggest you drink half your bodyweight in ounces. 2 liters is about 68 ounces. For my body I should drink 65 ounces. So the 2 liters works out for me. But if you weigh more than 140 pounds you may actually need more than that.
I know self diagnosis is terrible, but until I get insurance this is what I have. I already just spent $80 going to the doc last week. (before this problem, ugh) But when I have all the symptoms of dehydration, it's hard to not believe that is the problem, haha.

Am I the only one here? xD
I got my big water bottle out of storage. It's 2.2 liters. It's so heavy when it's full. xD But I really like it. If I can drink all the water in this one bottle I will have over my recommended amount each day.
I have been doing really good. I think so far I've only drank the full amount one day. But I've been drinking every day upon waking up and drinking way more than before.
Soon I can actually track each day and maybe level up, haha. Hopefully this big water bottle helps me get it done.
