Kali watched as the young boy smiled again, then ran to his mother, saying he wanted to buy Kali. She blinked in surprise; he wanted to purchase her? This was a first. She'd never been a slave before, so she didn't really know what to expect. She watched as the boy's mother argued with the man behind the counter. After some persuasion, the man accepted the money from the boy's mother, then handed her the keys to Kali's cage. She handed the keys to her son, who ran back and opened the cage, telling Kali to come out into the open. Kali glanced at the boy's mother, then obeyed silently, wincing slightly as her newly-healed ribs gave a twinge. A moment later, she stood on the floor of the shop, the dirt in her tail and ears showing clearly. She looked at the young boy, wondering what would happen next.

The mother came up behind this neko. "Well let's get you home so you can get cleaned up." With one swift hand motion the neko shrunk and became a small black cat, which Michel picked up and carried to the car. It was a black Ford Flex. They sang, 'a hundred bottles of milk' all the way home.
Kali jumped slightly when the boy's mother came up behind her and spoke. She hadn't been expecting this, and it surprised her. A moment later, she shifted to her cat form, making no sound when the boy picked her up and carried her out to the car. She trembled slightly, unsure as to whether the boy would harm her, like the guards that had sold her to the pet shop had done many times.

"Nonsense," the young man quickly replied. "One shouldn't simply base a pet on their personality at first glance. You need to give them a chance. I mean, you were bold enough to speak with me, right?" Zero took a small step back form the cage, slipping his hands into his pockets before he continued. "How would you like to get out of here Rose? I'm looking for a pet to keep me company. My home has grown rather lonely and it would be nice to have someone around. What do you say?" His warm smile stayed across his face as he awaited an answer.
...... But that doesn't mean I can't fall for you.
His words touch rose as he speaks about not judging one on first glance, a soft smile forms on her lips. She frowned though when he backed away, thinking he was leaving. Though when he asked to go home with her in his own way she tears up some. Slowly she nods as tears start to stream down her cheeks, she's so happy that he wants her to be his pet, that he wants her.

Zero watched the reaction given to him as Rose answered his question. He easily noticed the tears streaming down her face as she nodded. Was she truly that happy to finally be leaving this place? It looked decent enough to not be some sort of nightmare to her. Of course, he never did know how such places treated their pets. Regardless, he would quickly turn to see an employee and asked her to unlock the cage so he may purchase his pet. He was given the key and was asked to bring her up once she was free.
The new master would turn back towards the cage with the key to her freedom in his hand. He didn't hesitate to slide it into the lock and turn it, the door letting out a loud click before it slowly swung open so she could walk out. He would offer his free hand to her in order to help her out.
...... But that doesn't mean I can't fall for you.
Rose watched him talk to the employee, he was really taking her home, it was no joke. She watches him unlock th door and her ear twitches some at the click of the lock,her eyes fallowing the door as it opens. Hesitantly she takes his hand as she gets out of the cage, she hasn't been out of the cafe in a wile and her legs are a bit shaky from it.

Amy sat in her cage silently. She had no desire to draw unwanted attention to herself. Her cage was big enough that she was able to stand, and even shift to her wolf, if she wanted to. She wished her mistress was still alive, so that she wouldn't have to be here. But the lady was elderly, and it had been only a matter of time before she passed away. This happened four months ago, and Amy had been in the shop ever since. Now she could only hope that a kind master would see her and want to take her home.
Once he had helped Rose from her cage, Zero would close the door behind her and keep her from falling as he held onto her hand. He would only let her go once he felt that she had regained her footing. It was obvious that she had indeed been in that cell for quite some time. A shame really. He looked over her once more, noticing that something was...... missing? It had dawned on him that he has yet to purchase a collar. Such an odd custom for a person to wear such a thing, but a pet was a pet.
However, instead of going to the counter and trying to find a new one, he would reach around his own neck. He would unfasten the collar around his neck before walking over behind Rose. He would gingerly drape the new accessory around her neck, not bothering to tighten it so it would fit loosely on her. He doubted she wanted it to be very tight. He would walk back in front of her to scan her again to see that the one he gave her actually matched her outfit, it being black and grey. He smiled lightly at his convenient fashion choice. "It suits you far better than it did me actually. Ready to go?"

Rose steadies herself once she is out and give him a soft smile. She blinks though once he looks her over, thinking something is wrong with her. Was he not what he was expecting her to be once she is out of the cage? Her eyes were drawn over to the back door, eyes shift back over to him once she notices him moving.
Her whole body is frozen as he walks around her and the collar is put around her neck. She feels slightly scared but carefully touches her neck once the collar is loosely fastened. "Thank you, I'm ready to go..." She says softly and smiles up at him, he's almost a head taller then her.
Once everything was set, Zero headed for the front desk to pay. With that out of the way, he would head for the entrance, opening up the door for his pet to leave first. She may be his pet, but she was still a lady. His parents would kill him if he didn't show any chivalry, even if they were no longer with him.
[Exits]

Opening the door, the little bell went off. He glanced up at it and continued walking, as if the sound meant nothing to him. Razenth walked cooly to the back of the store not even acknowledging that the store owner was talking to him. From the moment he walked into the store, he had his eyes set on a certain Pet. Before he begun to talk to her, he realized his sword was still in his hand. He sheathed it and said "Hello, I'm Razenth. If you thought I was threatening, I am sorry." He didn't try to come off threatening, he was just in the middle of practice and decided he wanted a Pet instead of being alone in his Cave home.
"What is your name?" As he waited for her to answer him, he took a step back so she wouldn't think he was trying to bully her into wanting to be his Pet. Since he's an Ice Dragon, not a lot of people wants to be around him. Nor does he want to be around normal people. Yet, this one is different from the rest of the Pets and People in town.

It's been awhile since Nana's been put into her cage and by keen observation, she learned what sort of place she's been put into. Pets, as she heard them call each and everyone within a cage, gets bought and brought home. It wasn't until a few 'pets' have been bought that she realized that she had truly been thrown away by the lab. Despite the irony of freeing her only to be caged again, she knew deep inside Diadora may have wanted it as long as the lab couldn't hurt Nana with their experiments any longer.
Still seated in her cage, she noticed someone who seem to have lingered longer than any other. The first thing that caught her eye was the weapon in his hands. It didn't faze her in the least though as she's used to pain. However, she is cautious of him. When he put away his weapon, only then did Nana note his appearance. 'He's not human.' Most of the so called owners she's seen come in and out appeared human so this made her slightly wary. As he spoke, she only nodded in acknowledgement.
"Nana." She replied curtly although she did not mean to. It's simply how she always answered when asked her name in the lab. She felt nervous and slightly worried. Getting picked and bought was to be expected due to where she is but she couldn't help but feel like so because she did not know what happens once a pet is bought. She didn't say anything else and she didn't ask either. She only kept eye contact. Despite living like a specimen, she was taught proper manners at least. It was to separate her from all the other specimens are too far gone to be taught.

"Nana..." Razenth wasn't used to anyone with such a short name and noticed the way she answered. She might've been abused by previous owners, he thought. He then recalled that Pets here most likely didn't have previous owners, so he just let it slide. He would like to get to know her better and since his Pets died nearly thirty years ago, she just might do. "Tell me a little bit about yourself. I want you to make the choice if you want to come home with me."
Razenth realized she's cautious and slightly worried to be around him. He could smell the nervous sweat coming from her. Am I that intimidating? He knew he hasn't been around humans since his last Pets died, but he tried to pretend to be as human as he could. He stood silently, contemplating whether or not this Pet called Nana would want to come with him or not since she's practically scared of him.

When he asked, she hesitated for a moment. 'I wonder if i'm allowed to say.' She always had the lab as her top priority and it's been her place of birth as well as the purpose of her life. Now that they've sold her off, does it count to still pledge loyalty? She adjusted her seat on the carpeted floor of the cage. Legs folded to one side and arms holding most of her weight. She felt more relaxed in the position and spoke. "I am a genetically enhanced human whose genes have been altered to carry traits from the mythical gene of Alexandria's Genesis. My former Caretaker and laboratory father named me Nana, the japanese number for seven." She held up one hand and pointed to the tattoos on her sidearm and jugular. "Meaning i am the seventh of its series of specimens."
She decided not to say anything else as he only asked for a little bit of information. But it made her need to provide an answer for another thing he asked. "I.." Hesitant, she did not know what to say and how to say it but whatever words that may come out may be the closest she had for an answer. "do not think i am fit to make any choices on the matter. I've not seen the world beyond a secluded room and it already surprises me of the beings i've seen here. If it were up to me, i may not ever be able to make a decision." She answered honestly.
