Over IndulgenceThat goofy grin was charming to at least one person present, and the other didn't really matter much beyond handing ever back his card, thanking them, and wishing them a good night. Zeke grabbed his ice cream as Ever's finger snagged a belt loop, and he offered the poor girl a grin as he let the other man drag him along. "Thanks, sweetheart." It might have been for her, but it just as easily could have been for the other man. His own ice cream was a mix of chocolate with brownie chunks, and he took a small bite as the the cool autumn air closed in around them again. Not for the first time since arriving he wished he had a thicker coat. Ah well. They were having a good time, and being cold was something of a novelty these days, anyway. "I wonder if there's anything good in the mini bar back in the room." It was conversational, thoughtful. "Or we could locate a liquor store, though I haven't seen one yet. Maybe a cab." He rolled his eyes up to Ever. "If you still want more drinks."

Good morning SunshineZeke didn't remember setting an alarm last night, but there it was; phone buzzing, repeating an obnoxious little tune. He groaned, hefting himself up to lean over Ever so he could grope for the damn thing off the bedside table. "********." It was nine, but he was still on island time, and he didn't have any ******** clue what time zone that was, or how many hours difference there was between here and there. Silencing the phone, he heaved a sigh and just slouched over the other man, trying to wake up enough to remember what he'd set the alarm for. Not to go home, they had hours yet.

Good morning Sunshine
Beneath him, Ever made a soft noise like a wheeze, half-crushed by Zeke's elbow in the small of his back, just awake enough to complain. But when it loosened up, he went right back to sleep, hung over enough that he didn't want to greet the world just yet.

Over Indulgence"Mini-bars are the worst." He hesitated, though, because the idea of more alcohol was honestly more appealing than the way-too-expensive ice cream he now had in his hands. Truthfully, Ever'd only eat about a quarter of it before tossing it in the trash, largely picking out the banana and ignoring the rest of it, but it had seemed like a good idea at the time. "There was um. Someplace around the corner, though. Probably expensive, but..." They could get another drink or two, enjoy being surrounded by strangers, before they returned to the room.

Good morning Sunshine
While having not indulged quite as much as his companion, Zeke could feel the pressure at the back of his head that said he'd had just a little too much fun the night before. It wasn't bad--tolerable, would probably fade once he was up and moving--but if he was feeling it, Ever had to be.
Not bothering to open his eyes, he wrapped himself around the sleeping man, face burying at the back of his neck, and debated just going back to sleep. It was warm, and Ever smelled good.
He remembered, now, what the alarm was for. They were supposed to check out the aquarium.

Over IndulgenceHard to argue with that. The convenience, seldom outweighed the price, and the contents were always limited. He ate quietly as they walked, picking through to get to all the brownie chunks. He'd at least eaten more than half before it was abandoned at the same time Ever's was. Freed up hands were then tucked deep into the pockets of his jacket. "Which corner?"

Over Indulgence"....I don't know." He grinned at Zeke as he said it, shaking his head and licking at his fingers. He should have grabbed a handful of napkins, because now he was sticky and aware of it, shaking his head a little bit. "We can figure it out, though. I think. Or ask the guy up front, you did that before, didn't you?" He shrugged and, after a moment's pause, used his scarf instead. He'd regret that later too.

Over IndulgenceDrunk Ever was really starting to grow on the Mist. He was all easy grins and amusement as they made their way back down the street. There was probably a bar in the hotel, but what the hell. "We'll find it." And they did. There were only so many corners, and even if it wasn't the same bar Ever had seen earlier, it was still a bar, and it served alcohol, which was the goal.

Good morning SunshineZeke had two simple choices: get up and haul Ever out of bed with him, or go back to sleep and ******** the aquarium. Judging from the grumble out of Ever, it was obvious which he preferred.

Good morning SunshineEzekiel was merciful enough to let the both of them sleep for another hour. When he woke up the second time he hadn't moved, and the arm around Ever's waist tightened. Again, it took him a moment to place where they were and what they were supposed to be doing, There was a third choice. It involved the soft trail of lips along the back of Ever's neck and over one pale shoulder.

Good morning SunshineIt could have been sweet, could have been sexy, but as it lulled Ever awake, instead it was something else entirely: something that left him grumpy and a little queasy. Before Zeke could get anywhere fun, Ever was out of bed and making his way into the bathroom, instead. He needed to dunk his head under some cold water and wait for his stomach to settle. It might be a bit.

Tourist Trap
The bar they ended up at was tacky, overpriced, and filled with bland people -- but Ever was already gone enough that he'd haul Zeke in easily, look the place over with bright eyes, and then lead the way to the bar. Maybe it was a stupid place to go, filled with out-of-towners, but on the other hand, here they went unnoticed. Or, rather, everyone looked out of place, a bit, so the two of them were hardly strange.
He'd order something simple, and then they could claim a booth in the corner, legs stretched out and tangled together under the table.

Good morning sunshine
A less secure man might have taken that sort of reaction as a blow to his ego, but Ezekiel wasn't insecure. Grumpiness alone would have had him continuing along until Ever gave in, one way or another, but he rolled away as the blonde made a move for the bathroom. A sympathetic wince following him.
After a few minutes his voice drifted from the main room. "You gunna make it?" Amused, maybe a little smug, but definitely not unsympathetic.
He was up now, unfastened jeans riding low on his hips as he peeked in on him. In one hand he had one of the little disposable cups with water. The other was offered out, a pair of some pain killer or another resting on his palm.

Tourist trapIt appeared to be a theme bar, and Zeke gave their new surroundings a long look around before just shaking his head on a laugh, letting Ever drag him along easily. It wasn't the sort of place he'd have hung out in back home, but it would serve its purpose alright. At the bar he ordered himself a beer, keeping things simple. One of them was going to have to make sure they got back to the hotel. In the booth, long legs stretched out along Ever's, Zeke sank back with a smile and nurses his beer, gaze drifting slowly around the bar at every other non-native around them. "I'm pretty sure I saw an ad for an aquarium in the hotel,". He glanced back to his travel companion. "We've got nothing else planned tomorrow, any objects to wandering around a dark place for a few hours?" It was a little datey. So be it.

AquariumBy the time they got to the aquarium, Ever's face had reached a normal color at least -- even if he hadn't eaten anything, and even if he immediately claimed a seat on a bench to let Zeke wander off on his own to explore the marine life. Ever just wanted to sit, head in his hand, thumbs on his eyes, and tune out the world for an hour or so.
