 Taini finally heard the latest snarl and looked up, the ears finally done. He saw the face of the Haka, and quickly dropped what he was doing, bowing toward the ground.
"Forgive me if I displeased you lord, I will get rid of it quickly," he swallowed. The figurine was one of the best he had done, besides the Tsukiko one, and he was sad if he truly had to throw it away, but he would to appease the anger of the Haka if need be.

Reizo didn't look one bit apologetic, ears flicking back and forth. After a moment, he held out his hand. "Let me see it." The Haka demanded. He probably wouldn't make Taini get rid of the carving, unless there turned out to be something rude about it.

Taini swallowed again, and held up the carving. The kimono was detailed, like the Haka's, the ears upright and fine, the feet dainty. The blonde gehaka tried to always carve like the person before him, so it didn't look like a sweet nice piece, like the one before, but one that comanded power. The only things left undone were the face and hair, but the basic shapes had been prepared.
"Here you are lord."

 Hachiro didn't seem to notice the hesitation at all, simply offering a warm, half-smile and a nod of his head. Even if Shinku hadn't any real experience with another Gehaka besides his family, it wouldn't have bothered him. The other was much more friendly than other Haka he had seen, as well as...well, he had this strange air arond him--something that made Hachiro want to stay around him and help him if he needed anything. He hadn't really helped any Haka out, besides his mother.
At the dainty, graceful step, Hachiro also moved forward. His step was not nearly as graceful, but long and with a careful sort of way about it. He would make sure to catch Shinku if he stumbled or such, though that was unlikely. The Haka seemed to move as though he was walking on air.

 The Haka begain to walk with small dainty steps trusting Hachiro to keep close to him. The warm half- smile made him feel as if he was getting to know the Gehaka. He was even thinking Sei would approve of Hachiro. He silenced a giggle; he would have to introduce Hachiro to Sei sometime.
"How is your family?" He questioned as they walked. His mind was on family and it was a simple polite topic. Even a other Haka wouldn't bristle at the mere question of family. Now if it was instead. 'Is your brother still a drunkard?' Now that would rise someone ire even if it was true.

Reizo took the proffered carving, turning it over and over in his hands. After a few moments, he nodded just slightly, handing it back to Taini. "What is your name?" It was acceptance wrapped in a slightly odd package - obviously if he wasn't going to rail at Taini now about the carving, he wasn't mad.

"Taini Mabyn," Taini sighed, glad for a moment that he wouldn't get yelled back. He took back the carving, but kept his eyes on the ground, even though the bracer on his wrist itched, as it was new, he didn't move.

The Gehaka made sure to keep close to Shinku, shortening his strides to match the other's perfectly; he didn't want to fall behind or accidently pull the Haka off balance. If Hachiro knew that Shinku had a Gehaka for a brother, well...it would be surprising, but he would be curious. Yes, he would have liked to meet this sibling of Shinku's.
Bright eyes turned to the one at his side as the conversation turned to family. "Ah, my family is doing very well, thank you...my mother is in good health, as is my father. Silk is selling well, so we are able to work a little less hard..." A fond smile had crossed his lips at the thought of his family; though his mother was stubborn and refused to listen to people, Hachiro doted on him whenever he could. Feeling a bit bold, the Gehaka glanced at Shinku before asking a polite question of his own. "And yours...? Are they doing well?"

Reizo had been too distracted to notice that the Gehaka's wrists were not quite bare. When he saw the small action, the Haka merely sniffed. Well. He'd let the man's husband deal with him. "Is this your profession?" He gestured towards the carving. It was quite good, and although his family already had a carver that they went to for the woodblocks that his arthe required...

 Shizuka somehow ended up in the public garden on his time off from working in his mother's boat business this afternoon. He walked around, looking from flower to flower, admiring the beauty and attempting to stay out of the direct light of the sun.
The timid Gehaka suddenly spied a simple white flower the size of his palm and knelt to take a sniff. The perfume that emerged was absolutely heavenly. Without the first hesitation he dropped to one knee and cupped the flower in both of his scarred hands. Closing his eyes he took in the odor over and over... not caring how silly he looked...

 Tsukiko walked leisurely around the garden.. The flowers were very pretty and it was certainly cooler here than it had been when he was window shopping on main street. The chocolate colored haka was a bit tired so he sat on a bench.
The view was so lovely. The haka was content sitting there and admiring the nature around him. If there was such a thing as the perfect place to relax, this garden would be it.

My that smell was heaven! He didn't know where he'd smelled it before... perhaps in a breeze whipping by the Xang Zou or perhaps in his mother's room, which he seldom visited, but the flower's scent was absolutely divine. Shizuka was so trapped in his own world, he didn't even notice as Tsukiko entered the garden. He was still kneeling on both knees, clutching the white flower between his hands, his nose practically inside the poor plant...

Tsukiko looked at the pale skinned gehaka with his nose buried in a flower and tried his best not to let out a laugh but he didn't succeed. After his ggigled quieted, he took out something from his bag. It was an unfinished doll. He also took out a needle and some thread and began to work on the doll. He needed to fill the space on the wall that was left when he gave another gehaka one of his what he liked to call masterpieces. He went fast but was very careful at the same time. One wrong move and he could ruin the whole thing as he had done before.

Shizuka was mid-passout point from snorting the flower so much that when he heard the giggled from behind him, he lost his balance and fell completely over.
Now, thoroughly embarrased, he stood and dusted his pants off, having not yet turned to the Haka behind him. Slowly, as he turned around, a look of completely shock and fright lighted on his face. It dawned on him, besides his mother, he had never come this close to a Haka before. The Haka was absolutely one of the most beautiful things he'd seen in his whole life and he was immediately overwhelmed with anxiety. Before he knew what he was doing, he dropped to one knee and bowed knight-like before the Haka. He didn't know what to say, but was clearly hyperventilating. (Poor shy thing...)

The haka looked up from what he was doing to see the gehaka bowing to him. He seemed like a poor thing. "there's no need to bow to me. I'm not goign to bite your head off" Tsukiko said before he returned to working on the doll. "I view things different from other hanze. Don't be afraid to talk to me and you should never bow down to anyone, its a sign of weakness"
