((Sorry all for falling behind! Gonna' try to make a catch-up post here and I apologize if I don't address everyone by name!))
Lailah lifted an eyebrow at the first arrival to her stand; a little rainbow wilwarin, but with a halo. Well, at least he seemed more angel. But...the ears...were those his real ears, or part of a costume? She glanced down at her 'costume' and half shrugged, expression softening....somewhat. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad. "Thanks, kid. Here ya' go," she nodded, tossing a handful of treats at the child before he bounced away.
Yeah, maybe she could get through this without too much headache. Be a good face for the Guardians, provide some outreach to these kids and their parents if they stopped to talk...all that sort of thing. Not the hardest of their lessons, but one that she knew she could use a bit more practice with when she was honest with herself.
The stream of kids coming to the stand quickly picked up, and soon she started making her own game of it, tossing candies into the kids' bags if they held them up for her. Okay, maybe once or twice she slipped one of those 'trick' bags into the mix with the treats. Couldn't be that bad, right?
She noticed after a time that one little angel girl had just been staring at her for a while in what seemed like...silent awe? Maybe? Heh...well, wasn't every day these kids got to meet one of the Guardians' chosen, right? She glanced down at her cloak when the kid spoke. A cape? Well...close enough, she supposed. "Heh...yep, a cape. Just like yours." At least this one was quiet and calm unlike some of the rest. They were just so...undisciplined. She tossed a handful of treats towards the little girl, then doing a quick count, added one more to make it even.
She passed an odd look over the 'turtle monster' who shouted at her, her eyes lighting on an odd toy in her bucket of things. It looked like a fish, no...like one of those...heretics... Who would give such a thing to a child? Almost on principle, she tossed a trick towards the child...then belatedly figured it was more the fault of whatever adult had given it to her, and instead gave the child candy when she returned. They could deal with the hyped up child instead.
When a trio of children showed up, pestering her with questions, Lailah paused to look them all over before responding. She grabbed a handful of candy, sharing it between the two girls. "I've got plenty of treats here. That's more sugary sweets for you, right?" To the boy, she deftly slid a trick pouch into his bag instead as she answered. "And it's because I'm one of the Guardians' chosen. We're called to do good deeds, and protect all the good Pae in the City."
There didn't seem to be many adults watching these mobs of unruly children about...but young minds were more open to the truth anyway. Even if undisciplined, they were also untainted. Open to understanding the greatness of the Guardians.

Remy approached the next booth, "Treat or tr-", suddenly the boy was overwhelmed by an itch and paused to scratch his wolf-like ears. His face relaxed after the itch was well and satisfied. "Ah, much better." He grinned at the angel lady. "Treat?" He said offering his biggest smile.

 Pasha waddled over to the cape lady and held out her tub, seeing two treats fall in. "Thankoo!" she smiled and skipped off, counting her loot for the day. Pasha try 8 for 10/23

Astridr was busily smudging the makeup on her face as she crawled back into the booth, her daddy following right behind her and her brother. She made a noise at the the lady, hoping for lots of sweets.
