June 23rd, 2015: Zero Omega Halloween Network Features/Misc.Question: It could create a subforum Art Tutorial? This is definitely something we can consider if there is a community desire for it. bluealaris sup-qt ItemsWith people finding leaked, old or unreleased items lately, I would like to request a post or update in regards to if people are allowed to talk about what they find. Even just a quite post somewhere to go "If its ***Un Released**** don't you dare" or "If its old you cool to talk about it," Sorta thing, just so we know where we stand :] I would like to politely request that 'Un-released' items not be the subject of threads or shared. Many of them are un-released for a specific reason- either the item is incomplete, broken, or still subject to edits, and building up expectations of something that may never be available. If anyone discovers these unreleased items they can PM any staff member who will take them out of public viewing. June 30th, 2015: Zero Omega Little Jinxx Features (I think?)This is my first time EVER doing this, so I'm very sorry if I'm repeating a question already asked or if I ask it in the wrong way. Is there any update on what you plan on doing with the whole selling and trading issue in the Adoptables subforum regarding adopts acquired from other users? We're currently taking a look into this policy and when we have something decided we will post an announcement in that forum.

We plan to have some board consolidation done on some of the less active or no longer needed forums. We're hoping that by doing this we can increase moderator and forum assistant presence in these forums and allow for quicker clean up of these threads as they pop up. Zero Omega Nenanah MiscI have been told that bumping threads with linked images is against the rules. However bump shops get away with it, and I have also been told that if the image is small that it's allowed to be linked back to a guild/thread. I have been told by a few mods that small images that are linked are ok to use in the aquarium forum for bumping glows but this sticky says otherwise. Can we get some clarification on what is allowed? I want to bump glows but I don't want to break rules. sweatdrop Mmm... Definitely an interesting situation, we'll go ahead and get this figured out. Think there was probably some miscommunication, or it's just an old policy we had that needs to be removed from the forum. But we'll get it figured out for you.

What's the staffs' take on being (intentionally) quote-summoned to a thread or specific post? (in regards to Avatar Glitch, quoting the artist who made the item with the filled out form of what's wrong; in other forums, like Q&A/Bug Report or GCD, summoning a staff to answer a question/provide a potentially more elaborate -or at least accepted- explanation) It's up to the individual staff member, some like it, some don't, some don't care. Ultimately it's not the appropriate way to get your concern addressed and you should be doing it through the appropriate channels. There is no guarantee that quote-summoning a staff member is going to get the issue addressed, and some staff members may even ignore it or have their quote notifications turned off.

August 11th, 2015: bluealaris Blood Pop Events/GamesThis is regarding Lake Kindred, but I was wondering (and hoping) if you would maybe make a dedicated thread or something in the Lake Kindred forum about updates to the game! I just think it would be nice to know when things have been re-balanced, if drop-rates have been adjusted, when bugs fixed, and stuff like that. It'd be nice to have it all in one place. I know Staff Notices is kind of where that all is now, but I think it deserves it's own place, especially if it's going to be a permanent feature. c: Just quick little updates so things aren't just left to speculation! Will there ever be a PSA released, and/or the youtube button in the posting options changed to reflect the new 'video' bbcode tags we need to use to embed videos? Many people still don't know about it, and it's a bit misleading and confusing for them when the button still does 'youtube' but those tags don't actually work, and haven't in a long while now.~ We'll pass it along to our dev team to take a look into, I honestly didn't even know this was a problem. o_o Zero Omega VVhip Features: Is there anything in the works on updating the forum rules stickies? Many of them are woefully out of date, with links to forums/threads/features that no longer exist. Many are misleading in terms of the rules they outline, and some are so outdated that they give false information. I am prepared to set up a thread outlining the ones I've noticed, but afaik, it's most of them. Yes, this is something we would definitely like to try and tackle this year.

I have a long list of threads, the game ended or quest was done. But they are just taking up space and I wonder why they don't let us delete them, like we can in the guilds. Whether threads in a forum can be deleted depends upon the forum settings. As guilds are private and "owned" by the person who creates them, they have the permissions to delete what threads they want. The forums are public and are set up so only admins can delete the threads. There are also reporting reasons we don't allow Gaian's to delete the threads.

September 1st, 2015: Narumi Misuhara Shrimp_Man FeaturesAre you guys aware that it can be difficult to go to the next page of a thread while the page is loading because the next page link won't work. Sometimes a page hangs for a long time loading for me because of gifs in people's signatures leaving me having to refresh the page several times just so I can go to the next page. This issue also might not be because of Gaia but bettergaia but I'm pretty sure it was happening before I installed bettergaia Hmmm, likely due to the js waiting for the dom to finish, or some similar issue. We'll have to dig deeper into this. For the moment you can also try playing with the difference signature options in preferences to see if that helps as well.

I run two charities with a mule and I tried to get a bump shop to help me out with keeping my threads bumped up. They rejected my order because I did not want them to speed bump my thread, I wanted them to go by the forums rules and wait until my threads fell off the first page before they bumped it back up again. I looked around at other shops and I noticed that they are letting their bumpers spam bump threads as well. These people are not waiting until the threads fall off the first page before they make a bump. The charity and questing forums rule for bumping is... " 4. Bumping:
Bumps are posts made, generally using the word bump or an emoticon or an image, for the purpose of moving the thread to the first page. If your thread is on the first page there is no reason to bump it up. " Can you send out a PSA to clear this up and to stop all the spamming that is going on? It's bothersome to find a shop that isn't encouraging others to spam and I don't want my threads being shut down because a careless bumper is clueless about the rules. It's something that we'll be happy to go ahead and consider, but it would be something that would be a low priority over the other PSAs we could possibly do. In the mean time, please continue to report anyone that may be violating the bumping rules of that particular forum. Zero Omega eat sleep anime forumswill there ever be a forum specifically for avatar based cosplay? i know there's already a cosplay forum but it's basically just filled with people who want to post about real life cosplay, and in avatar talk there's no subforum for cosplays created through avatars.. Hmm... At the moment we don't see a really huge need for this forum because it would be a niche subject in an already niche area (talking about avatars, not necessarily dressing them up). That could change in the future, but at the moment we don't see a huge need for it. This is unlikely, however what you can do is report the thread and request it to be moved.

I tend to chat in multiple threads at a given time especially during events & I find that I run into the Authenticity thing that pops up with an image of words because of this. What I wanted to ask is are you in any way able to get ones that are even closely readable? I find myself trying my hardest to see what letters are in these to type & repeatedly get them wrong & it kinda kills the whole fun of being on gaia & chatting in forums with people especially during events. Sorry about the inconvenience! I actually haven't run across any of these kind of CAPTCHAs when it comes to forum posts, I've only seen ones that are really quick and simple to answer. Would you be able to get a screenshot the next time you get one like this and show us?

Pretty much each time I add a bbcode effect I have to highlight, click the effect, then re-highlight my entire sentence again, rinse and repeat! Could you guys just tweak the site coding for posting, so whenever I highlight something with Ctrl it'll actually keep what I highlighted, no matter how many bbcode effects I click? ex: [size=9][color=blue][i]I highlighted this sentence three times separately, when I should only have to do it once![/i][/color][/size] We could probably do this should time allow. Not going to lie though, this would be far from the top of our things to do list. :/

These three topics seem the most common in this section and it would really help since members can't really help with these issues. And it would really help if you updated the "Not A Bug" thread to add that the Avatar Builder is closed when/before major RIGs are released. This seems to be a commonly brought up topic as well.
