It took Delilah a moment to gather her thoughts as she listened to both Hannah and Quenton. While she had calmed knowing that nothing had happened to Hannah, to say she was relaxed would have been incorrect. She too had come across agents willing to just talk instead of fight so she was well aware they were out there. But as a ‘soldier’ herself, she knew to always watch her back.
”I have no idea why A Modest Proposal came to mind when you mentioned reading philosophies. It’s not like eating the children of our enemies is going to help any.” Delilah shook her head as she stood up and walked towards the books Quention had mentioned. ”Though on a change of topic and why this came to mind, please excuse, but has anyone found or met someone whose family seems to have a senshi blood line?” Delilah turned and shrugged. It was way in left field but that is what she got for always coming up with random books when she heard someone reference thinkers.

“Umm I know that Sailor Maia and Shangri-La are siblings. Maia is an Eternal and Shang is a Squire, both have curly red hair. I know when I spoke to Babylon on his wonder, he told me about how he could see or speak to his ancestor; something about seeing the former Knight of Babylon through visions, I’m not entirely sure how it works. Anyway he had said he’d asked his father about some ring he had but he didn’t seem to know much if anything about it.” Outside of those three she hadn’t had any conversations involving family members with anyone.
Looking to the side she scanned the bookshelves before turning her attention back onto Quenton “Thank you, I appreciate the offer. Unlike you two I’m not much of a soldier, more of a nurse I guess. I seem to deal with the aftermath of fights more than anything” Shrugging her shoulders with a half smile she continued. “I don’t suppose you have any books on their point of view by chance?”

Quenton paused in thought, listening with half a mind and considering what books were where with the other. It meant a pause maybe longer than was usual for most fully-brained persons. Does maia have other brothers beyond the doctor that I met? ….Jacobs. His name was jacobs.
The first name remained a mystery, but he was fairly certain that it had been related to him. It was primarily the rest of that evening that stuck in his mind. He shook his head as though to clear it, banish the start of welling tears to air again. There was no reason to mourn it any longer. He crossed to the shelves, crouched, fished through some thinner softbacked books that were a mix of biographies, fictions, and anthologies before pulling one from the shelf and offering it out to Hannah. “And If I Perish: Frontline U.S. Army Nurses in World War II” was the title scrawled across the cover. “If you like a book, that one isn’t too bad. If you want something to watch, as humorous as it is, the old M.A.S.H. series is relevant and cutting. “
“I’m afraid my copy of Swift was the victim of a tea accident. You’ll find Locke on that shelf with the cat netsuke. Less satirical, but maybe not so far off the mark.”

Delilah listened as it appeared her question about family members was being answered. So it could run in the family. How lucky then that she had no true siblings. The truth was she did not think her parents could handle having two children sneaking out of the house. Well, honestly, they could not handle two children.
What struck her as odd though was that the siblings they were speaking of were born a knight and a senshi of two different lands. So blood might help decide if you are powered but it had no say in what power.
Shaking off the offer for Locke, Delilah instead looked at her watch. ”Oh. Hannah, I think it’s time we go. We have imposed long enough.”

Hannah gave her friend a confused look before pulling her phone out of her back pocket. “Ahh…” Indeed the time was far later than she had originally thought it to be, despite how short their conversation seemed; cooking tends to take a good chunk of time especially when preparing a meal for three..
Sliding her chair back, Hannah stood up and started gathering the empty dishes, ”Let me just clean up real quick and I’ll be ready.” she stated. There was no way she was about to leave a mess in someone else's home. The whole point of them being there was to bring food not burden him with cleaning dirty dishes.

Quenton lifted a hand, “Don’t trouble of mess or dishes. I can do them. I need productive excuses to work up endurance for standing just yet. Its a lot of sleeping and sitting, otherwise, which does me no good.
