No, I got to ride the taxi this time round, playing the role of shady cabbie. Anyway. Been busy this evening, pardon the crappier photo quality, it would appear that this vaunted iPad can't do everything perfectly.. After I finished the Sentinel I decided to get started on my secret weapon for my combat patrol: a Wyvern. Tonight I mapped out a rough idea of how I want the camo to go, I'll tidy it all up tomorrow, fixing the edges and filling in any spots I may have missed. While the paint was drying on my Wyvern I decided to make a start on my Enginseer, who still has a long way to go, with this all being the first layers. So, more layers, cleaning her up, washing her and providing the highlights here and there.

My Raging Heroes KS pledge finally came in, so I decided to stick both minis together and get it over with. Here's my Eisenstein, clipped her tab into a peg and drilled a hole into the base of my WIP Errant, so that the noble matches the stance of her suit of armour: And here's Wolfenstein, not sure what to do with her just yet. I did stick her on a slightly larger base because well.. her scenic stand needs it. I may just use her as a 30k Space Marine Centurion stand-in, those guys have access to lightning claws and shiny artificer armour. Maybe I'll make her Alpha Legion, seeing as she's got a skull and snake on her back, plus they can be battle brothers with the Solar Auxilia. ninja

Sadly, out of primer. So instead, here's a WIP of my Enginseer, one of her zombies and a Thallax unit. It's arm only looks derpy because of the shoddy camera angle. Meanwhile in the workshop, the cyborg, enginseer and servitor consider their options.
Only none of them can dance, nor can the servitor really think for itself..

New conversion bits came in yesterday, so I decided to faff about for a bit and came up with this: The first of two command squad veterans, this one armed with a spare Volkite Charger. The other one will probably have a meltagun or a grenade launcher.

I have both a model and a pixelated variant of a kind of dropship/gunship to make.

Also, decided to get started on a containment device of sorts for the campaign: It's going to hold a painted marble. I had to greenstuff the base, which I will sand smooth when it is a 110% dry. After that, prime and wash and drybrush and done. Though I am tempted to look into providing it with lighting somehow. Eh, details.

Quick WIP shot of the volkite veteran: Need to tidy her up, do the base, wash her, do some quick drybrushed highlights and finally paint a pad blue. After that, twenty more lasgunners and a medic to go. sweatdrop

Did some painting late, late last night and earlier this morning, in between working on a special scenario. Here's the veteran in all her microwaving glory, opted to go with a red beret, which is a sign of veteran or elite status within some military: Here's a rare OOP sculpt simply known as "Relic 3" that I got from the Bombshell Babes kickstarter. I'm using it as a Navigator (just imagine her mutation is having her third eye waaaaay up her head) or an evil priestess of sorts, she's got a bloody hand and everything. She's also taller than the other models I own, so she shall be a void born. And here are the two together.. Eyup, she's a void born alright, tall, spindly and well, there's also that weird formal attire. Then again, Navigators always were one of those weird aspects of the Imperium. Next up.. an Auxilia medic using an old OOP GW sculpt. Maybe I'll have it done by tonight.
