The petite girl took out those handsome surfing guys in anime in mind and made the conclusion that the Sun hunter won't be inferior to them.

Then.

She brought silence to both her mouth and mind, thoughts cleared. "Mind telling me?" Shu hushed, feeling her throat a bit dry as she wasn't sure if it was a good idea to ask for it.

She understood going through sad memories or feelings hurt, but at the same time, she couldn't conceal her concerns. In her heart, she was aware of the truth she could no longer do anything for a past problem, but she still hoped to know what happened. The petite Asian simply wanted to care about a friend.

It was hard to imagine Jordan struggled between something, but her Sensei was just a human like she did. Feeling out of place? That was something she used to think when she was a little girl, but her sisters overwhelmed her with love and care, wrapped her up and stopped the dark thoughts to penetrate like an unbreakable layer. The soft hand of hers gently covered onto the hunter's as Shu realized she always missed them.

"Have you figured it out? Do you wish to get back to them when the sight brighten up in front for you?" Yes, it was always difficult to admit failure especially when you are someone who contemplates to achieve the best outcome, who strives to give everything the best he had to who he loved but only realized what they asked for was different.

The girl went silent pondered of herself, legs unconsciously created dawdle-spreading waves, the vibration gradually stopped as it extended. "It's not a bad thing to discover that before it's too late, you still have time to mend that." If she knew what would happen, she won't yell out and it might not be leading to that result.

A pair of hands full of blood, dripping and dried, darkened, the image flashed by in her mind with the time of a blink..

Shu quietly listened to Jordan's voice, the pool was filled up with calmness and a tinge of blueness. The petite girl never hear the hunter talk about his relationships, but twitter had been given hints. Although he talked about it with simple words, as if delivering a matter of fact lightly, she could feel the agony deep down.

She never had a lover or whatever it should be called so she probably couldn't give good advice. Then, she thought of America, that smart girl who believed can be give useful love remarks. However, she wasn't her, so she was going to do whatever she could, in Shu-style.

Thus, she stood up gently, pitter-patter to where her bag located, fiddled inside before she went back, seemed to be empty handed. "Jordan Sensei, open your mouth?" Something round was tossed in as she sat back to where she was. "How does it taste? Is it how love would be like?"

She seemed to have one in her mouth, face wrinkled like a paper. "Honestly, I don't know love very well besides those interpreted by media." By media, she meant manga, anime and games. " - Have you talked to them about how you feel? Did they tell you that they're happier?" The soft voice asked.

Ah....that kind of feeling, sandwiched between two people and questioned if they were needed or something existed as a third wheel or play gooseberry. It really hurts. Yet, Shu questioned that - If Jordan wasn't there, they would be happier. Frankly speaking, no one doesn't want a great partner (It seems to be the most suitable word to use on island?) like Jordan, he's nice, funny and smart.

"Hmm...... I don't think they don't want you back, maybe...maybe they just find it hard to express it." The sweetness immersed from the honey lemon core under the sour outer layer. "Even if - by the least chance they did, I believe you can find a better one." She took his hands again. Detached self from someone he loved, put herself in his shoes, it would be like soul tearing. She really couldn't say anything more, so she gave the warmest smile to the senior hunter. Maybe he didn't need more from her, maybe what he needed was times to clear his mind. He knew what he needed and wanted but with fear and hope tagged along, it became difficult. The simple path to the destination distorted and twisted, full of obstacles.

Thus, she offered him the most amiable tranquility. "I guess I will sit more, enjoy your swim." She waved at the bank, covered herself with a dry soft towel. It was astonishing that two of them were thinking similar things, even with deviations and foci.

Habit was a horrible nightmare, like a no-cure addiction. Once you get used to something, it felt weird to detach yourself or stop it. Loss is always one of her biggest fears, it would do nothing if possession does not accompany. Yet, they always come together.

The nightmare recurring in her sleep was all about that. She didn't have the chance to experience the agony of being replaced, uncertain if it was a good or bad thing for her. However, she was a patient on her way to recover herself, detached herself from a habit unhealthy to her soul. Yet, she asked for more, like a severe addict. Sometimes she felt puzzled for the lost of warmness when she woke up in the morning, in her memories, there should be someone cuddling her like a teddy. When she ate alone outside, she had an unexplained instinct to tell "these seats are taken". She couldn't figure out what's wrong with her empty hands, they told her that they should be holding someone -

- The twinge of sourness raised from her heart up to her nose and even reached her eyes, got out as uncontrollable tears when she solved the mysteries.

It was a habit, a mirth in the past that only brought pains to her now. A habit that she would pay everything, even her soul to retrieve.

Shu looked at the figure swimming in the pool, and let all the thoughts washed away with the water.
