"You've got some vodka." It was offered easily, pointing aside to their bag and raising both his eyebrows. Amused, maybe, by the idea. Junk jewelry? "Give'em that. It's not like you can drink it, right?" But of course, if Zac pushed they could find a pawn shop or something -- just not until they were back in New York. For now, they were pulling up to their stop: Ever standing and starting to gather their things, so they could hop onto a shuttle to the store. It was a trek to get out here, perhaps a waste of a day, except that they were together, at least...

“Yeah…no I don’t see the infirmary princess drinking Vodka, it’s not nearly –PINK- enough.” He said rolling his eyes. “Maybe if we added glitter and princess stickers she might try it.” He chuckled, imagining pouring glitter and fake crystal stones into the bottle and leaving it for her. Maybe even decorating it with glitter glue as an additional ‘gift’ to her. “We can look before we get back, should be light enough eh? Besides, maybe your friend will like it if you're covered in pixie dust." He looked amused at the thought.

Ever shook his head as he tucked purchases under his arms and led Zac away, trying to think. They could probaly find something pink and glittery and princess-y in Ikea. A picture frame. A doorstop. Of course, once they got there, it was a bit daunting: so huge, so many things, and Ever just needed the one dresser. He hesitated, and then blinked down at Zac. "Maybe split up? Then meet again...? An hour?"

“Bloody Hell…” Was Zac’s first wide-eyed answer before he nodded mutely. “Yeah… yeah I think that’d be good. The phones work off the island, right?” He said still considering the store as a whole with trepidation. “I feel like I’ll need a map in there.” He shook his head slightly.

"Uh huh." He grinned a bit, shrugging at Zac, and looked around the place again -- "An hour. We'll meet at the meatballs, okay?" They could smell them, after all, no matter where they were -- and so Ever passed half of his purchases to Zac and took off to find someone to help. He had one very specific thing, that was it, and so a rep would be better to help him find it. It wouldn't take him the full hour, either, which meant he'd probably be waiting, antsy, for Zac to finish.

Zac showed up with the purchases that had been shoved at him, and a bag with a small fluffy bear with an oddly sullen expression sticking out of a new bag that rattled a bit. “… Bloody damn big store.” He said shaking his head. “Though good call on the meat balls, I could smell them, pretty much everywhere.” He said amazed. “Sorry for the wait mate.” He’d taken longer than he meant to just trying to find something that was both ‘cheep’ and ‘perfect’. “… Were you desperate for some meat balls or are you all set?”

"It could be dinner." A bit soon, maybe, but -- what else were they going to grab? Better than the deus cafeteria, probably, and a bit since they last ate. He just shrugged, though: it was up to Zac, who could think about it while Ever unloaded more bags onto him to make room to tuck a shockingly-flat box under one arm. He'd have to build the damned thing when he got home. "This was everything I needed, so anything else is your call."

He hoisted the bag with the petulant-expression bear, which rattled as things shifted and gave a small shrug. “I found what I was sort of looking for… you showed me around, I’d have been lost and…lord knows what else without you. Your call mate, not mine really.”

"We'll get meat balls." It was decisive, because Ever had never had them, and because it would give them something to do while they sat and waited for the bus, back to the train and the portal, beyond....

Zac chuckled and nodded. “Sounds good, thanks for grabbing me man.” He smiled. “If I ever need to make a trip of my own, I’ll be sure to grab you mate.” He just wasn’t saying yet, he’d probably take Ever to some corner of New Zealand, or Australia.
