Lilith nodded at presented Zoey the door. She knew the deal was supposed to go down in a matter of minutes, and it did tkae a little time to get through the maze-like corridors of the building, so they would do well to leave, not rushing, but quickly.
"This is a decent contract. Twenty souls and a thousand years... Not bad!" Lilith smiled looking up from the file Zoey'd given her before on the trade. They were half down the elevators now. The glass drapery of the compound was like fairy dust on an otherwise ordinarily beautiful forest. "You've really been outdoing yourself in these past few months." It didn't start making deals like this until I had a few centuries under me. Then again, I had to start this thing from scratch...
As the weight of time and anticipation seemed to drag them down the column, Lilith would ask Zoey to point out the man from the bird's eye view if she were able--and she should be at such a height. Eventually they would land, so to speak, and roll out like fog pressed on by the cold of midnight; silent, but knowing. "You ready?"
In front of them stood a man who looked very smooth. Lilith didn't know him, or whether Zoey could handle this deal, but she trusted her nonetheless.

Her mind was buzzing so she wasn't really able to listen to the ongoing conversation very well and managed a "mhm" when Lilith complimented her. She looked around as they walked, trying to keep her mind on the contract but as they got closer she felt her breath start to quicken and she would mumble "It's okay. I can do it" to herself in an attempt to calm down. She pointed out the man.
The man with the vest turned out to be a mere servant as he turned to reveal a much more demon-esque man walking behind him. The servant bowed to the two and introduced his master.
I'm sorry to keep you both waiting this long. It's nice to see you again, LIlith. This is my master, the honorable stone demon of the North: Alexander Ferrous. The demon being introduced stuck out an arm confidently.
Charmed. I'm excited about today's business. His face was warm, and he didn't seem too deadly, but one can never know. He point to a street cafe near the elevator landing. Shall we grab a seat?

Oh my god, im so sorry i just got the ntoification today that you responded! ill post my pictures up later but i want to at least respond.
Zoey felt close to frozen. After an awkward pause she managed to smile. "I'm Zoey Dubois." She scanned Alexander quickly and looked to where he was pointing. "That sounds like a marvelous idea sir." She said, trying to sound as confident as possible. She lead him over to the cafe.
The demon nodded and let himself be led into the cafe. There was a certain hush around the other caffeine heads; something that gave the meeting a great deal more gravity. With a snap of his fingers the demon's right hand man ordered for him, knowing full well what he liked.
My boss needs the blackest brew you can make, and with plenty of Iron.
"... Excuse me?"
Iron.
"Um... We can't put iron in coffee... No one can."
Look, just get some iron and shave it down... The boss likes it a little coarse like that anyway, don't ask me.[/b[
Soon enough after that the waitress, confused as ever, brought out some of the weirdest smelling brew ever smelled. It was set down in front of Alexander as the meeting began.

Adrian stretched his arms and looked around, yup, still here. You'd think after a few weeks of being in Lily's realm he'd get used to waking up there but it was as if every time Adrian woke up his brain took a little to process what was going on. He got of bed and press the button on his intercom."Please let Lily know I'm awake, thank you."One thing Adrian had certainly appreciated was the privileges and luxury he had as Lily's partner. He walked to his bathroom and got himself ready, brushing his teeth, washing his face, brushing his hair, and changing into new clothes he'd wear for the rest of the day.

Just about the time Adrian was finishing Lilith turned the handle of the executive suite the weapon was staying in. The Succubus had been training Adrian in the art of Soul Trade, and to her surprise his endearing disposition made him a natural. "Adrian~! Are you ready~?" She sung upon entering. "You sure look ready. We've got your suit ready downstairs."

"Excellent! I think you're gonna like this~" She absolutely oozed excitement as the weapon follow down the hall. Cartoon animals danced between smoke-shadows which play in the window as markers for Lilith's humming glee.
Out past the security dicks, through the glass human-hamster-tubes, into the faceless crowd and into the loud silence of the "intellectual" coffee deck. So they had a coffee deck, what of it? The place needed that much caffeine to operate on the absurd level it did. The only thing they didn't have, most likely because of Lilith's foresight, was a school for meisters to procure her souls, essentially stealing them, for her. No, this was much better: legally; the economic exploitation of a system meant to keep her down had a legit name and everything; and damnit there was order! "You're 'usual' Madam Lilith." The Succubus' order had come at last as the two looked out over the realm like that one scene in Lion King.
"Thanks, hun. Take the afternoon off, huh?" Lilith dropped a look on the waitress and she nearly fainted with joy. Looking back to Adrian, she finally got down to business. "So... How do you like it here? You've been my partner for a while now in mortal time; what do you think, I mean really think, of this place? My operation?" By this time Adrian had been told a lot. Enough to make a decision, anyway.

Adrian did have a lot of time to think through his past few weeks he spent with Lily. He did have to agree that the DWMA did some shady things as far as collecting souls and that Lily's operation seemed to be very forward with what they did and how they worked."Well, I like it here. I feel like I am worth something and I am helping out. I am not really sure that this is exactly what I had in mind when I started trying to find my way but I can not say I have not enjoyed my time here. I think that, despite being a weapon, maybe I do not need to go to the DWMA or anything like that. I thought that I would need to do something like that but maybe I am better here."Adrian smiled at the memories he'd had made, the deals he'd sealed, the conversations he'd had and even the friends he'd made with some of the people that worked for Lily."Honestly, I like it here, it makes me feel like I'm doing something to help, it is what I have wanted to do all along."

Perfect! Ideals like serving for that despot have no place here. Phew! Looks like I finally killed that bug. I thought for a moment that I was going to see another one lost to that broke-a** system!

She waved her hand over a half of the deck as if to Vanna White a large "hidden" presence in the room which could best describe Adrian's quick success.

Adrian smiled at the mention of his success thus far."I suppose I have closed a few deals here and there."He laughed and pondered for a bit."Well, not really actually. I think it might be just because I am a weapon that I have a desire for battle and to synchronize with a meister and all that but I do not think I desire to visit Shibusen."Adrian wondered to himself if he should get some tea for himself but didn't want to just walk away."Do you remember what I told you about the time that I spent with Illo in the mountains? I do feel like I am stronger because of that training but I have not used what I have learned during that time. I found out about these weapons I could create and shields and that I can absorb light and that I can be strong and maybe even win a fight but I have never been in a fight since then."Adrian felt slightly disappointed in himself, he didn't even have anyone he wanted to fight and fighting rarely helps end a deal."I just felt like I became so much stronger but I am not using it for anything."

Adrian was so driven, even if he had no place to go, that it inspired something akin to hope in the old Succubus. Whenever she saw him he had this look in his eye as if he was looking through whatever task was in front of him and because of it was able to blast through whatever people had deemed important for him. It had happened in the mountains, and now that Adrian was here he was there again in mind. Before it had been forethought, so was this some kind of omen? Was it fighting instinct, or did Adrian's pragmatism hold some kind of magnetism over the near future? "And that disappoints you, that you can't practice?" Lilith took a moment to take a drag of that finely rolled sentiment. "I think I get it. I mean, no I don't; seeing as this is what I have to do, I don't really have that same drive, but I hear this is how fighters are." That was a lie. Lilith only needed a hundred souls a day, and here she had a stockpile which looked like what Death should be in charge of.
"So, what are you gonna do? You can always go out to borders and pick fights with the demons there. They deserve it, creeps. Or you can go on up to the school and see what's--wait. I think I see what this is! Do you wanna do the whole meister-weapon team thing with me? Go get 100 souls the hard way?" She leaned forward and watched Adrian's face for confirmation on her newfound hunch. Really, it was a wonder it hadn't occurred to her before.
