“Yeah! It’s a bar, if you’re not mingling and having fun then you’re not doing it right,” he replied with a casual chuckle. Watching her get up, or at least make the attempt too, he shook his head when she nearly fell over. As she plopped back down into her seat, he sighed to himself. Obviously this woman couldn’t hold her liquor which was a damn shame. One, it meant he’d get none because by the time they left, she’d be plastered off her rocker. Two, he had to help her either to one of his guest rooms, or to her house; if she could remember where she lived by then. Oh boy, when was the last time he had to take care of a drunk? When he personally had to? He couldn’t remember; his sister, husband and himself handled their alcohol really well. Then again, he and his sister had demon physiology so they processed things differently. Kaito was just really good at handling his liquor. “Don’t worry about it, I could use the company,” he replied with a nonchalant shrug. As he mixed a drink for another patron, he made sure to stay nearby so he could continue to converse with her and make sure she was okay. At the moment, she was kind of his responsibility. “So what made you decide to move here?”

Nevara continued to simply sit and sip her drink, getting a bit woozier with each one. Meh. It was a bit embarrassing that she, being a demon and all, couldn’t really hold much alcohol down before she’d get tipsy. It’s just because she hasn’t drank in a while! Plus, she doesn’t know how much alcohol is in this.. whatever Dead! Nonetheless, she still had a happy smile on her face, as she faced Lysander again. “What made me move here? Boredom. I was a nomad for a while, just moving where the action seemed to be.” She said, leaning a bit of her weight on the counter. “This place seemed pretty neat, so I moved down here.” After a few more minutes, the alcohol really began to take its effect; her nose and the apples of her cheeks began to turn a bit red, and it definitely showed that she was getting drunk. “Howss about you? How long have you livved here?” Some of her words began to slur as she drank more, sipping constantly from her drink. Well, it was no surprise, it was bound to happen.
Lysander nodded along with her, sliding a drink over to a young woman who was eager to take it and make sure she touched the blonde. He didn’t like the easy catches; the ones that would jump into bed with him at the drop of a hat. If he wanted it quick and easy, then he knew where to go, but he liked a little fun. Mental stimulation, maybe even the seemingly impossible catch. His whole outlook on life pretty much revolved around doing things just to see the reactions he’d get out of people and the ones that gave him a challenge were his favorite types. Ruby eyes shifted back toward his company as her speech slowly began to slur. Only two drinks in and she was already drunk, how sad. Leaning against the bar, he balanced his cheek onto his fist as he smirked at her. “I’ve lived here a couple of months with my husband,” he replied as he watched her sip on her drink like a kid with a lollipop. “Besides being a bartender here, I’m the CEO of a major realty company back in New York. Well, normally I am. Technically I’m supposed to be on sabbatical for my honeymoon, but I like working too much.”

Nevara swiveled in her bar stool, uninterested in the now empty cup of alcohol. No more of that stuff, it's the stupid juice! If she was still drinking casually like she used to, she would've lasted for a lot longer! But, it certainly seemed like she was still aware of what was going on, and what's good and bad, she's just.. a lil' woozy. Right? Leaning in closer to him, she listened very carefully as he spoke. "A see-e-o, huh? That's a lot of houses." She said with a smile. That's cool! Is it one of those companies where there are huge buildings, and you can see the whole city on the top floor? It must be so cool to have a view like that! It's kinda amazing that someone as high in status as him would be talking to a silly girl like her. Small world! She was still in motion on her stool, causing her jacket to slip off to the right. "How long do youu work to? We can go on late night adventuures!" She suggested. Yeah, he had a car! They could do lots of stuff! Now she's all full of energy, let's do something!
“Yeah, it is,” he chuckled as he pulled himself from the bar and grabbed a shot glass. “We sold a lot to high profile people like businessmen, celebrities and the like.” Setting it on the wood, he grabbed a bottle of clear liquid and poured it into the small glass. Might as well have a little fun while he could! Setting the bottle aside, he grabbed her glass, “You want another?” he asked, setting the used glass in the sink and getting ready to mix another. His brows raised slightly as he noticed her leaning in and the way her jacket fell over her shoulder. This was going to turn into a disaster real quick. Lysander looked back up at her as she questioned his timetable. How long did he need to work? The blonde paused and pulled out his phone, checking the time and seeing if there was any contact from his sister. Geeze! Where was she? What she alright? Shaking his head, he sighed through his nose and put his phone back into his pocket. Lucky for her, his shift was pretty much done and he didn’t need to come back in until tomorrow night. “I’m free anytime~” he answered with a rather charming smirk.

Nevara continued be a nice, happy drunk, and sat in her barstool. Celebrities? Here's one celebrity you don't have to give keys to: Alicia Keys! Ha ha.. She perked up at the idea of more alcohol, but this time, she actually wondered if it was a good idea. "Jusst a shot. I'm aalready loopy a** it is." Yeah, there's using that noggin of hers! Actually think before you drink! Too bad those thoughts couldn't have come to her earlier. Hey, maybe this is the way she handles alcohol, she's still aware it seems, just.. a bit dumb. "Youu are? Then lets go somewheere!" She said, and gently grabbed one of his hands with both of hers. Yeah, late night stuff! It's always more fun when it's at night! Plus, if Lysander didn't take her somewhere, someone else would. They would either pick her up here at the bar or on the walk home if he didn't offer a ride. And that's not safe for drunk little Nevara! Meh. She'll cross that bridge if she gets there! Bring on that shot and lets go!
Just a shot huh? Lysander looked at the bottle of clear liquid in his hands and then back to her. White tequila was a lot stronger than the amber and with the way she was already slurring her words after just two drinks, made him just a little weary of giving her a shot. Oh well, if she asked for it, then he wasn’t allowed to refuse. Pulling his hand free, that was grasped within hers, he grabbed another shot glass and set it beside his own. He poured the tequila all the way to the rim and slid the shot over to her. “Here ya go…” he said in a sing song tone. Hopefully this didn’t end with him having to carry her out of the bar. That would be more of a hassle than it’s worth. “Take your shot first and then we can go.” He jerked his head towards the shot he had given her, taking his own. Placing the glass to his lips, he threw his head back and downed the liquor in one go before slamming the glass back down onto the bar.

Nevara smiled when he poured her a shot, quickly grabbing it and down the hatch it went. "Ah, thanks you!" She said happily, at least she retains her manners when she's drunk. With that, she finally got off the stool.. successfully. She was a little wobbly on her legs, but hey, she was still mobile. Now, where are they going? What are they gonna do? Right now, anything seemed fun at the moment! Their destination was still Lysander's choice in her mind, plus, she'd probably suggest something outrageous anyway. Standing by the bar counter, she waited patiently for Lysander to be ready to go, and would leave when he did. Oh, are they gonna ride in that fancy car again? Yay, she can feel like she has a lot of money for a few minutes again! She doesn't feel sick in the slightest, but please don't let her throw up in the car. It'll go from funny to horrible real quick.
Lysander watched as she downed her shot, taking the glass once she was finished with it. Setting the two shot glasses in the sink, he put away the bottle and noticed the rather giddy look that seemed to come across her drunken face. What was she suddenly so happy about? A brow quirked slightly before pulling away from the bar. Walking around the bar, he sauntered over to her and leaned against the bar in a rather leisured stance. “I got an idea of what we can do but…” his ruby eyes gave her a once over. “Do I need to help you to the car?” He wasn’t really feeling the mood for some big party, but of course, he stopped partying after getting married. His husband wasn’t much for...any type of social interaction. He hated being around people, or rather, he thought they were boring. But, his idea was still going to be fun considering she could barely stand as it was. Something low key, but still fun. “You’re lookin’ a little tipsy there, I can always grab a wheelchair if you’re in dire need~” he teased with a chuckle. She replied to him asking if she needed help for walking. She may be a little wobbly, but she's still mobile! With her face still flushed from the alcohol, she danced around in one spot like an idiot. Are they gonna go bar-hopping or something? Or maybe a party? Or just something fun to do at night? Yeah! She can began to giggle at her company's teasing, seriously not minding the idea of doing that. "Thaat'd be fun~!" She's never steered or rode in a shopping cart while doing something like that, but she's seen it. And it certainly seems fun to do! Late night antics around the town are fun! Especially doing stuff in the abandoned areas! It may sound a little creepy, but the parties there are awesome! The empty stores are the best! But she should do something different right? Yeah! What does Lysander have in mind?
“Alright, I’ll keep that tidbit in mind,” he remarked lightheartedly as she thought his joke of stealing a shopping cart would be a good idea. He hadn’t done stuff like that since he and his sister were kids. Both were a bit of the rebellious type and his sister went through a huge rebellious phase when she was a teenager. She did a lot of things that weren’t exactly...Law abiding. And while stealing a shopping cart wasn’t some capital offense, it wasn’t exactly easy to get away with. If you were caught, you still got in trouble, maybe had to do some community service, but nothing major. Unlike his sister, who got to the point of having to have a probation officer assigned to her, he was such a smooth talker that he usually got out of his crimes. But he wasn’t about to get into that now. “C’mon, let’s get outta here,” he said with a slight jerk of his head towards the door. Turning away from her, he walked out the door, taking a deep breath of the crisp autumn air. Walking to his sister’s car, he opened the driver side door and slid into the seat, leaving the door open until his company joined him.

"Yay~!" She said happily. Time to go! She could possibly be riding around in a shopping cart later! Smiling, she followed Lysander outside the bar, using her surroundings for support for a bit as she walked. She didn't even stumble once on the way to the car, but got in as soon as she was able to. You could definitely tell that she was happy to sit on the soft seats as soon as you looked at her. They were certainly comfy! As they drove to wherever they were going, she began to space out frequently, eventually staring outside the window with a drunk smile still on her face, watching the buildings and people they passed by.
Oh, she was so annoyed! After talking to Jason last night, she ended up sleeping on him for the whole night. He was already awake when she woke up, and began to ask if she were alright immediately. It took her about an hour to get him out of her house, before deciding what she should do. That part wasn't why she was annoyed, but she'll get to that. She decided to investigate the disappearance of Seth! She knew from seeing someone else move into his house that he was long gone, but she still wondered when he left. And thought maybe she can get a reason as to why. So, she got dressed for a day out on the town. Since she wasn't in the happiest of moods, she went for something a little darker. After she was dressed, she walked towards Neon Lights to talk to his manager. The place was quiet since it was pretty early in the day, which only helped her find the person she was looking for. The manager told her that Seth hadn't been in for a long time, and that he already gave his job to someone else. So he was gone for that long?! And he still didn't have the decency to at least text her?! She thanked the manager for his time, and practically stormed off. There was no reason to stay; it reminded her too much of him, and she noticed a newly built stripper section. She's staying far away from that place.
So, she began to walk around the city, letting off steam as she passed by a bunch of buildings. Somehow, she ended up near the beach, and right by a place called 'The Captain's Deck'. Fine, this'll be her new bar! She just wants a place to forget about Seth, if he can't even text her that he's leaving, or that they're done, then he obviously doesn't care about her. Stepping into the place, she was kinda pleased to see it was better than Neon Lights. In terms of cleanliness and class. The place was still kind empty too, and it made her relax a bit. She sat down at a bar, still feeling annoyed and down in the dumps when she got the munchies. Having an hungry tummy isn't gonna help her at all right now. She ordered a sandwich, and ate, happy this place wasn't just a bar. This sandwich wasn't all that bad! So, here she was, a little munchkin who was annoyed and eating a sandwich.

On a nice day like today, Lysander decided to travel to his job and do something with his time. With no sister and no husband in his life, he was just kind of left to aimlessly wander around. He understood why his sister hated him, but they could at least try and talk after they had spent the last few years mending their broken relationship from high school. She refused to answer any of his calls or texts, and he needed someone to talk to. Kaito was gone. Not just off to work, but gone. Forever. He knew he was a poor excuse for a husband, but he loved Kaito. The only person that wasn’t blood related. He wasn’t even sure what happened to him, he was just there one day and gone the next; like he did a vanishing act. Lysander felt worse than ever. More alone than ever. And then to be informed that his sister was withdrawing from their joint company...The blonde gave a heavy, depressed sigh as he ran a hand through his messy blonde bangs. He hadn’t even bothered with his hair this morning. While he still made himself presentable, he didn’t go all out like he usually did. There wasn’t any need for it, he wasn’t in the mood to try and pick anyone up, or even really converse with anyone, but it was his job.
Pulling open the door, Lysander trudged his way inside, a little surprised to see anyone even in the bar at this hour. He greeted the few workers that were there as he walked behind the counter and clocked himself in. Walking towards the back, he set his sunglasses and scarf in the small cubby for his things and walked back out to the bar. Seeing a petite girl sitting at the bar with a simple sandwich, he mosied his way over to her. “Here kinda early aren’t ya? Anything I can make to take your mind of things?” he asked as he placed his hands against the bar and leaned forward slightly. If anyone was here early, that wasn’t working here, they wanted to forget something. No one goes to a bar this early in the morning.
