Cruz's brows creased when Tatiana asked again. He smiled back but, no, he couldn't see it. Not wanting to disappoint her, the croc chose not to decline again and instead kept quiet. Much to his relief, the hamsa was quick to greet Camille with affection. Cruz chuckled as the tiny Cajun grappled with his raevan niece and waited patiently for the two to disengage before pressing further.

”No,” he glanced back the way they came, ”he was tied up and playing with the other puppies.”

Certainly Tango was far too occupied to take care of his mighty thirst. It happened frequently without a bowl available, since the dog was so used to the only natural bodies of water available nearby were far too salty for consumption.

He grinned. ”Yes. It's a nice pond. I like this place.” Cruz followed closer to Tati with Tango in tow when the other dogs were corralled inside, only to be stopped short. A confused glance was passed between the two before Trox interjected. He floated a bit higher to see the man approach. ”Hi,” he smiled back, matching the brightness of Trox's grin albeit with much pointier teeth.

”Oh,” his eyes widened. Cruz looked down at Tango, still panting away but seeming otherwise calm and content. The wolfhound would be good and tired for the return trip and sleep well tonight. ”Yes, thank you.”

While Cruz got the phone number and dog watering business settled inside with Tatiana, Anita was still out front. She had taken a moment to rearrange things in the backseat to better accommodate Tango. She stepped back and flashed Trox a smile, leaning against the car. ”Yeah, that'd be great. And man, especially with the baby and all, if she wants to come over she's welcome any time.”

Anita pushed off of the Oldsmobile and peered inside of it. ”Yeah, I think we're good. Thank again for the stuff, really, and letting me bring the dog and all. I'll let you know if I get any leads on the chair.”

Once Cruz tended to Tango's thirst, he was right with Tati as she wrote out her information on the sticky note. Her hand writing was considerably better than his, he noted as he took the paper and held it against his chest. ”Thank you, Tati,” the croc beamed. For the briefest moment, when she pointed to Cam, his and Cruz's expressions were the same. Cruz quickly interjected before any other sensitive information was accidentally set loose-- ”I will. Me and 'Nita share a phone right now. Trox has her number.”

The hug was only somewhat unexpected but wholly appreciated. Cruz returned it fully with as much warmth and closeness as he could muster, burying his face in her thick damp hair. A deep rumble sounded from his throat, only fading as he pulled back to look her in the eye. ”We'll talk soon. I want to see you again.”

As Cruz made his way out towards the front, hugs were offered both to Cam and to Trox. There was no obligation for either man to take them but the croc was eager and willing – though still very, very wet. Anita laughed when she saw him and the two loaded up the dog before she said her goodbyes and pleasantries to the whole family, dogs included. Rest assured, the items Trox was parting with would get good use.
