" Hello!" Estel looked the newcomer over, blinking. " Yeah, go right ahead if there's anything you'd like to write." Did she mean she wanted to make a suggestion? Or was she just asking for permission to use the pad of paper to communicate? Either way, Estel didn't mind.

With permission granted, Ruth began to write a few questions for the ghoul. They weren't difficult ones, but to the blonde reaper, they were pertinent in her decision when voting came around. When she finished, the reaper handed the paper over, a small, nonchalant smile on her lips. Her handwriting looked to be as neat as the rest of the text printed out in Estel's booth. While there was more than one question, only one was underlined.The Questions Why Secretary as opposed to PR?
How do you rate your skills at documentation?
What do you offer that a more experienced candidate doesn't?
Can you do a slow spin for me? xLuridel i am so so sorry about Ruth. Estel can totally ignore that last one @ 3@

Anna walks up to the ghosts booth smiling. NOW she finally recognizes someone's species. Not that she hasn't TRIED of course. She looks around the booth giggling at all of the plossoms. "Where did they all come from!" She asks the girl as they clamber all over. "You must really have a way with them!" She blushed and reached forward. "I would be glad to take one off of your hands if your willing to part with any of these cuties" she rubs a wisteria under the chin lovingly. Luridel Wisteria and a Bluebell if I may? My, to think that the years had gone by so quickly!
Xiu had finally detached herself from her work-in-progress cafe to drop by the academy again, intent on checking out the new hopefuls for this year's elections. She had never run herself--honestly, she wasn't really suited for such a role--but she could still remember how anxious some of her friends had felt during their campaigns. She therefore figured that it wouldn't be a bad idea to grab a couple of spookies and a thermos of tea to go and visit those who were running this year. A little friendly moral support never hurt anyone!
She was, however, a little surprised when she happened upon Estel's booth. Thinking back to her own meek demeanor when she first enrolled in Amity, it never ceased to amaze her when she encountered a first year with as much initiative--and, in her opinion, bravery--as this ghoul here. Noting that others were presently speaking to the booth-runner, the baku settled for reading the signs that had been laid out on the tabletop...
...Until she got spotted some of the plossoms peering out from beneath the tablecloth, that was. Crouching down, Xiu gently grabbed a corner of the fabric and lift it up, peering beneath it. "Looks like Miss Herald has the same problem I have," She laughed, lips curved into a smile as she reached out and offered her hand to one of the minis.Luridel OuO JUST HERE AND HANGIN'

Estel accepted the piece of paper, read over the questions, and then smiled at Ruth. She took a few moments to think about her answers before she began to talk. " I'm not much of an artist, but I've got a great memory and I think I can keep track of things pretty well. I can type pretty fast, and, like I said, I've got a good memory. I've yet to visit my competitors, so I can't speak for their individual specialties, but I think the student council should be able to represent all of the student body, not just the senior students. I really love this school and I do want to make a difference here." Stepping back, away from the booth, Estel held her arms out to her side and twirled slowly. When she was once again facing Ruth, she took a bow, grinning. It was a bit of a shock to realize that her booth had obtained a few more visitors while she had been answering Ruth's questions. " Oh! Hello, everyone!" She rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly as Anna asked about the plossoms. " I started with a few and one day I came back to my dorm room and they'd, uh, multiplied. A lot. Please, if you can bring them to good homes..." She held up the tablecloth, distributing plossoms to Anna and Uru, and then smiled at Xiu. " The same problem? Do you have a lot of plossoms?"

Glancing up, Xiu offered the other ghoul a smile before slowly letting the tablecloth drape back down. "I do! I have plenty of blossilia and plossoms and they just all...multiply." The fact that she insisted upon keeping such an extensive collection of minipets didn't help matters in the least.
Straightening up, the baku gave a little stretch before beaming at Estel. "I honestly think it's very admirable of you to run despite being a first year! I'm mean, when I was a first year..." She made a face as memories of her excessively timid personality came to mind. With a little shake of her head, Xiu abruptly glanced down in the bag that she had brought, rooting around in it before she finally managed to produce some spookies that had been neatly wrapped up and finished with a bow.
"Would you like some spookies? I decided to bring some for those running this year to show my support. You're definitely a courageous bunch, I think!"

While he was there, holding the plossom, Shun noticed Xiu approaching the booth. However, it seemed that he was far too stealthy for his little sister as she didn't notice him at all. He stepped up behind her silently, just staring at her sort of, waiting to see when she'd notice him there.

...Why did she suddenly feel kind of uneasy? The fluffy end of her tail seemed to puff out slightly at the distinct feeling that someone was staring straight at her, but the baku reminded herself not to be too paranoid. She was at Amityville, after all, and it could easily just be a curious student staring at the back of her head. Slowly, she turned--
--and jumped, despite the fact that the person who was behind her was someone she was well acquainted with. She just hadn't expected him to be so close, but it certainly made sense to her how he had moved up behind her so quietly. This was Shun, after all.
"Goodness, Aniki! Hello there! And, ah--" Gaze flickering down to the plossom, she slowly looked between the reaper and the mini before cocking her head to the side, lips curving into a smile.
"New friend?" How cute.

Shun thought Xiu was talking about Estel with her inquiry. "I'm Estel's mentor," he replied. The plossom in his hands began to squirm a bit, but he kept a firm hold onto the minipet. He wasn't really sure what to do with it yet. There wasn't really anywhere where he could place it in the meantime and all.

More spookies? " Yes, please!" Estel responded to Xiu. Even if she didn't win, which she had a feeling she wasn't going to, at least she was going to end up with free food. " Not a lot of first-years run, huh...?" She turned back to Anna. " I don't know, actually. I don't have a whole lot of others!"

Grinning, Xiu passed over the spookies before giving a little shrug of her shoulders. "I wouldn't say that no first years try out! I'm just saying that I personally would have been terrified at the idea--I was a bit of a skittish first year myself."
Perking up at Shun, the ghoul cocked her head to the side. "Ah--mentor? That's pretty neat!" The reaper may have not been the most sociable of people, but he definitely had the skill and experience to be a good mentor. Estel would be under good hands! "That being said, I actually meant this fellow here."
She reached out to affectionately tickle the plossom in his arms before booping it lightly on the nose. "I never actually took you as a plossom person, aniki!"

"I'm not," Shun replied flatly, not looking particularly amused as he said that. He was really only being somewhat supportive of his mentee there. The plossom squirmed and squeed in delight from the interaction. "Do you want it? It seems to like you," he asked, holding the thing up to Xiu.

Ruth listened wordlessly as the ghoul answered her questions. Some of the points she didn't agree with, some she did, but throughout the spiel, the reaper maintained a carefully blank expression. The only hint of emotion was when the corner of her lip twitched upwards when Estel did as requested and twirled in place.
Not bad, Ruth decided, her only real criteria for voting being met. Somewhat. When more creeple arrived, apparently including the candidate's mentor, Ruth took this opportunity to slip away. She wasn't going to be saddled with a minipet, not if she could help it. It wasn't going to go to a good home, she was certain of that.
