After putting the mushroom into his shirt pocket for safe keeping, he straightened and laughed lightly to Llyr's comment. "I'm sure it's not the last you'll see of us at your booth. Even if it is, I hope we'll be able to see each other around campus and have the chance to talk a bit more. It's always great to find a kind person... Especially when we've both got the mutual understanding of what it's like to be a bit 'lost' around here."
His smile was soft, but warm. He hoped it wasn't too sensitive of a statement for the demon. The last he'd want to do is cause undue anxiety or harm his good mood in result. "It was wonderful meeting you, Llyr."
Considering Llyr's welcoming attitude, Yuki doubted that it were possible to overstay one's welcome. The ghost needed to get out more, though, and he'd at least have a look around a few other booths before returning. "Thank you for your kindness, and again I wish you the best of luck."
[Yuki is exiting for now~]kuroopu My brain imagining Yuki's inner thoughts right now: "Hey, I just met you and this is crazy, but you're adorable, so let's hug maybe?"

The ghoul figured it was about time she made the rounds to the other candidates booths. To give them a proper look and get a feel for each one personally. See what their goals for the student body were, etc etc. It would not do any good to put in her vote if she didn't know who she was voting for! She approached Llyr's booth with a smile. "Hello again my friend. I have come to wish you luck at your own booth this time and..." A slender hand peeked out from one of her long sleeves, in it lay a shiny plum flower shaped pin. "This. Since you were so kind to give me a flower crown when you visited my own booth." Rocking on her heels for a second, she glanced about the booth. Smiling at the other booth patrons who were trying their hands at games and such. "So if you do become Student Council President what kind of events would you like to see run? I mean outside the general 'student run' event thing" She made the finger quotes in the air. "Perhaps something like a minipet awareness weeeekkk...ooorrrr winter festivals. I know I enjoy dances, but its not about what I want exactly." Meixiang smiled, not like she was fishing for ideas no. Course not. She just wanted to see what the others were thinking to. To be on the same page. Just in case they ended up on student council together ya know. Never too early to bounce ideas around.

It only made sense that Ruth would eventually visit Llyr's booth. She'd encountered the boil in Rojo's booth and seen him mingling with the other candidates. While she already had a fair idea of whom she would be voting for President, she was still going around to scope all the candidates. She had a small smile on her face when she approached Llyr's booth and beside her was a certain demon who had dragged her to a colorfully decorated booth not too long ago.
While she was still within the confines of one of Andrew's wings, she instinctively grabbed at the hem of the boil's shirt. Just in case he tried to leave her alone.

Wait. Wait where where they going? When they approached the boil introduced himself as a water demon. A WATER DEMON! Abort abort abort! There was a game, and it involved water. WATER! WHY? Andrew stopped stubbornly digging his heels into the ground. You couldn't pay him to vote for the water boil based on one principle and one alone. Water. "Blondie....." he whined suddenly moving from big strong teenager back to scareling mode. "There issss nothing for me here." a small bit of his demonic accent was showing. He did not want to gooooo. He let her go, she was free to play all she wanted but him, he was staying put right here. His tail coiled up moving into one of his hands and he held it away from the water. Nope nope nope.

Ruth was expecting this reaction. She'd seen it enough times to know her boss-man did not do well with liquid of any sort. She would concede to his discomfort, somewhat. But she would still have her revenge! She looked up at the taller boil, lower lip pushed out in a miserable, pathetic pout as the reaper's fist clenched tighter at the handful of boil shirt. She pointed at him, then at the booth, then to herself before she shook her head. It seemed she was refusing to go without him.

Why did ghouls have to do that? Why? It seemed she was afraid to go without him. (How did she think he felt? Was she secretly trying to torment him?) The look got what she wanted, his slow... very slow and cautious approach. "Fine. but you have to play the game for me." He eyes the water boil and scooted to the side wings up and alert, ready for take off at the slightest wrong move. He did not want to go in. there was a bend to his knees that sprung them together putting the power there waiting and ready as he dropped his weight lower to reduce the small, very small likelyhood of him somehow going into the water. for now his tail coiled under a wing, the perfect umbrella of protection. huni pi You have a flame demon close to water. I hope you are happy now.

Was what Ruth did considered fair? Of course not. What what Ruth did considered fun? For her it certainly was. But she had the foresight to look grateful instead of gleeful that she managed to pout Andrew into being within close proximity of water. It was the weirdest power trip she'd felt and internally she was all bright smiles and wicked silent cackles. Outwardly, she was shyly approaching the pond as instructed.
She picked up a scoop and studied the pond. Well, she wasn't really interested in minipets, and decided to demonstrate to Andrew that it wasn't probably a good idea to ask her to play for him. Especially when she came up empty. She turned to the fire demon and hung her head in shame for not managing to catch anything.

Clearly his minion was not the best choice of way to play the game. but he was a little out of options. "No you go to do it when I say go. Wait for it. Wait.. ready, Now! Wait not now. NOW!" he waved his arm around in an attempt to some how play through her. It seemed somehow the attempts turned up a mushroom. What was he going to do with that? Oh well. "Alright fine, you got to play.... let's goooo." Was he whining again? Just a little. kuroopu hi! *cackles.* flame demon playing your game by proxy. SN: phantompanther13 prize: shroom.

Alright, she'd had her fun and tried the games and was a little too amused that listening to Andrew's instructions actually won something. She raised a finger, as if asking the flame demon to be a patient for just a second. Because she turned to Llyr, gave the water demon a small wave, and indicated she would be taking two flower crowns. One for herself, the other would be for the flame demon complaining about being at this booth.
With a smile, she headed back to Andrew, nodding happily that they could go. And that was when she handed the blue flower crown to him almost reverently. The color reminded her of a certain ice ghoul.kuroopu Ic-lly, Ruth took the white and blue flower crowns

"... What is this?" Andrew took the flower crown. he held it delicately like it was made of paper and might shoot up in flames at any moment. Which all things considered, it might. "ahhh...." he really couldn't wear it. But he knew who could. Blondie had been at his booth, did she know? His tail flared a bit in embarrassment. She wanted him to go give it to a certain ghoul didn't she. He would just be... going now.

Llyr beamed at Yuki. "Please do come by again to see," he said enthusiastically. "I do so like visitors, and I especially like kind ones such as yourself and your friend," he added, with a glance at the twittering bird that was still fluttering around Yuki's shoulders.
The other boil's gentle smile warmed him a little, Llyr's shoulders losing some of the tension they held. "It is...nice to be able to have someone to relate to," he said softly, absently rubbing a thumb along the ring on his index finger. He reached out and grasped Yuki's wrist briefly and said, "Thank you for your kind words and your presence, you are most welcome to visit anytime."
He clearly meant visiting outside of the booth as well, Llyr letting go and giving a little wave as Yuki left.Histuzen ksdfljsfsf llyr would do it ok he loves hugs Turning away from Yuki's departure, Llyr found he had another guest - the ghoul whose booth he had stopped by earlier, and whom he had first seen at the carnival with the pretty noise booth. He struggled a moment to remember which position she was running for, but when she smiled at him, he managed to drag it back into memory.
"Ah, thank you!" Llyr said, beaming at Meixiang as he accepted the pin, which he promptly stuck on the front of his robes. "This is lovely, thank you! It is quite beautiful."
He considered her questions for a moment and then said, "I do feel a minipet appreciation week is important, as I feel they are sometimes neglected or taken for granted. Dances are quite fun and they encourage many interactions, which I find rather appealing." One long finger tapped against his chin. "I suppose I would also like to see some more festivals - water appreciation, of course, perhaps implement more swimming lessons for those who need to learn. The encouragement of classes - learning is important - but I also have learned that getting outside knowledge can be very crucial to one's development, so perhaps field trips could be arranged!"The gray ghoul whose name Llyr kept missing was back, as well as someone else, someone whom Llyr did not recognize - a fire demon, by the looks of it, and Llyr gave him a curious sort of luck, tilting his head a little. A smile curved his lips upwards.
"Please do come over!" he said brightly, gesturing to his booth. "Please feel free to take whatever it is that you feel, there are some teeshirts and pins and many other things, so please do not be shy! And of course flower crowns, which are quite important!"
He beamed at the pair of them.

As promised, Rojo found his way to Llyr's booth when he had a moment. The calaca was still wearing his gifted flower crown, and when he saw that Llyr had even more of them, he smiled and moved to touch one. He didn't need more than what he had, but still. Flowers.
He looked over everything the demon had to offer and listened to all he had to say with rapt attention. He'd been indifferent to so many of the other student council positions available, but President... well... that was one he hadn't completely dismissed.
"Hello, Llyr! You have a very nice booth." It was simple, in Rojo's opinion, but that wasn't a bad thing, especially in this instance. Even though they had only just met, Rojo thought it would be odd to see any space of Llyr's decked out in colors and lights. And the boil had a pool! That made up for a lot of things in any situation.
"I have a bat minipet!" he proudly told the nix. "She mostly takes care of herself though." Seeing how much students loved their pets here kept Rojo from voicing his discomfort over dog-shaped minis, but speaking about his bat was no trouble. Even the dog ones wouldn't have been so bad had they not been so eager to make off with his limbs.

Llyr, though not formally a friend, was the only running student Sucre actually recognized, and only because she had really liked his flower tossing booth. She was pretty new though so that wasn't saying a whole lot.
Sucre sighed when he introduced himself as a water demon, Sucre did not like water, but that wasn't really a reason to not like him. She smiled at him and greeted him. "Hi, its nice to meet you, I'm Sucre, I really enjoyed your booth earlier! This one is just as nice!"
The goo-ghoul glanced at the list he had gestured to, and read some of the points. She liked how friendly he seemed, but was not impressed with the offering of swimming lessons, and made a sort of disgusted face. She also was not in the mood for more fishing and more water.
Sucre plucked a crown from the booth and placed it upon her gooey head wear it settled in a bit.
