((If someone wants to rp someone with these two, great. If not, I'll just make stuff up XD)) Poe mentally shook her head at Lophorinths reply. Oh Lophorinth, always, well, himself. Malta moved faster, deliberately not looking up at the display in the sky beyond her dragon's wings. She was relieved when they reached the infirmary, her home and sanctuary for so long. “Poe?” she said, looking up at her dragon as she made her way to the door. Malta looked up, swallowing and flinched as the flight became very violent. “Everything will be all right... right?” Poecileth soothed, trilling gently, “Right... they don't usually result in casualties...” Malta said, trailing off... “But the whers...” said Poecileth. Malta believed her. “Well, I'd better get ready anyway...” said Poecileth, looking up, her eyes flickering a brief, scattered yellow with concern. She hoped she was right...

[NPC] Brown Ititth 3d20 toughness
Ititth knew the climb would end soon. What went up must come down. He kept his eyes on the gold. While she still went up, so did he. Slow and steady he pushed his way higher up. He saw her change her drive upward into a steep dive. Right back through the pack of following males. Ititth tried to calculate where she'd fall and moved in close.
His goal was to close some of the distance and he succeeded a bit too well. He rolled to avoid the flashing fangs and claws, but took a blow from her tail to his back instead. It might end up slowing him down, but he had managed to gain a little bit of ground.

Without time to evade the gold's strike Acriculeth twisted slightly in the air to present his back to the claws rather than his more vulnerable throat and belly. The pain drew a low hiss from his throat that soon turned into a growl as he saw Goroth make a grab for Banshidheth. A flicker of orange annoyance entered the bronze's purple eyes and he swiped out at the other male. he asked disdainfully. catch.>
Oh, and good shells the sky was full of deadglows tonight; as he powered on after the queen Acriculeth spared Gohulmordth a cool glance.
Then, to Banshidheth but audible to all; It would sacrifice his own chances in the flight in all likelihood but that was a sacrifice he was prepared to make if the gold wanted the presumptuous pest gone. ____________

The purple of Bandhidheth's eyes flashed red-orange when Goroth tried to reach for her. Presumptuous. Behavior she would have expected from a Weyr bronze. She was falling too fast to respond immediately, but oh, he would get a response. Even as Gohulmordth voiced his approval of her tactics, she snapped open her wings to slow her descent, glancing back to check the positions of the males.
Acriculeth was quick to offer to punish the problem brown. Such courtesy, she sent only to the bronze as she looped back towards the males again, But I will attend to him as he deserves.
Grabby Goroth wanted her? Fine. She singled him out, crooning, and reached for him, looking for a moment like she was choosing him - but instead she grabbed at and attempted to throw him towards Gohulmordth, though it was hardly a precision maneuver, given the circumstances.
If it is ichor you want, then shed it. This she broadcast to all, as she angled her flight path up again.

Brown Rugarth
Rugarth had not expected Banshidheth to turn back towards the males so quickly, and especially not to try and throw one into the other. He twisted, trying to keep up with her, but between her unusual movement and the possibly-injured eye he didn't want to open yet, he had trouble keeping track of her for a moment. He hovered briefly as he turned his head to look for her. Once spotted, he only paid the other males enough attention to avoid them as he pumped his wings to try and chase after the queen. If he wanted at chance at the queen, he couldn't waste time on anyone else.

Blue Lophorinth: 2d20 Strength, 5d20 Speed, 2d20 Toughness
Lophorinth's wings started to twinge as he twisted out of range of the queen's attack. As agile as he was, it was taking a lot out of him to keep up with the larger dragons. Not to mention stay out of their way as the call for ichor rang out. He wasn't kidding when he'd said he didn't want his handsome hide marred anymore than it already had been. Luka preferred marks of battle, not of lust.

[NPC] Brown Ititth 3d20 strength
Ititth gave an irritated hiss as he thought the queen was about to select another male. He have a gleeful bellow as she threw the offending males away. The brown snapped at a dragon near him. Now was the time to start impressing the gold. He arched his neck and purported side to side.

Blue Magith
He could feel his strength fading, his energy lagging. He wasn't built for stamina, or for more than a sprint really, and it was getting harder to keep up. He allowed himself to back off, not quite ready to give up, but enough that he wasn't pushing himself to exhaustion.
He didn't really want to spill ichor anyways. Not of allies, even if the gold was injuring them more than he ever could.

Magith, but that is not what makes you interesting,> Acriculeth commented privately to the small slender blue. Still up in his weyr A'nos smiled his private smile which had nothing of the charm of his public face, no, none of it was sweet charm; all of it was the thing that curled in the shadowed corner or slid smooth as silk through the grass. They could do far worse in the way of allies than that clever little blue.
With only slightly shaking hands A'nos poured himself a goblet of wine. Looking back up and out of his weyr he smiled once more.

NPC Brown - Goroth (R'gar) Toughness = 3d20
Goroth shot the bronze a withering glare... or as much as a dragon could he said, the most words he had spoken all at once in months. he would have said more but he decided that the arrogant shiny fool just wasn't worth it.
He watched as she slowed and turned back towards them, he was almost smug as she crooned at him. See, taking chances were wor..... WHAT?! And he was slashed and sent tumbling towards another brown .... Damn her, well... he would catch her and show her a thing or two, in the meantime he lashed out at the other brown, trying to use the other male as a springboard to right himself and launch back towards the Gold.

Brown Snalth #966F33
He was moving slow, trailing behind the pack, which, luckily enough, meant that he was avoiding most of the drama that was currently happening between several of the others. It didn't bode well for his chances to catch the gold, but the flight wasn't over yet.

With Goroth dealt with, for the moment at least, and being well into the Flight, Banshidheth began to consider her options a bit more seriously. Her admirable little blue was fading - and the chatty blue as well, but he had not impressed her - and she had to admit that that was unfortunate, because he was by far her favorite thus far. The fanciful thought that she could choose him, that it was her right, did enter her mind, but was quickly dismissed as an unwise risk to take. Though it would not be met with the same backlash and scandal as it would at a Weyr, there was no precedent, no way of knowing if or how it would affect a clutch; and as this would be the Wherholds' first clutch, they needed it to be large and strong.
Acriculeth, courteous and well-spoken, was keeping up with her without trouble, but that was to be expected of the bronze. He would be a good, solid choice...but he was bronze. If she were to choose the only bronze chasing her, it could be misinterpreted as her choosing him because of his color. Tricky.
The browns were doing decently, but aside from indecent Goroth and violent-minded - not that that was necessarily a bad thing - Gohulmordth, they hadn't done much to distinguish themselves.
If I did not know better, I would say that some of you are not awake yet. Where is your spirit? Where is your fire? Show me!

Brown Rugarth
(rolled Toughness)
She wanted to see some spirit and fire from them, huh? Well, Rugarth supposed he'd done little to distinguish himself. He'd started off well, it was true, but he'd been lagging inn the middle of the pack since then. Perhaps it was time to show off a little. But how? He was still not a fast or nimble dragon, who could dazzle her with acrobatic tricks. He did not care to display ferocity by tearing into any of his competitors and shedding more ichor. What else would be a suitably eye-catching show of enthusiasm? He almost wished he had firestone in his belly so he could show her some literal fire.
Well perhaps he could show some endurance without straining his acrobatic skills. He beat his wings rapidly to gain as much speed as he could manage, while crooning to Bashidheth, I simply care not to let the others distract me. You command the sky, and I have eyes only for you. Then while she (hopefully) was paying attention to him, he gave one wing a hard flap that spun him upside down. He halted the movement when he was belly-up and stretched his wings out flat so that he might glide, using only his tail to keep him on course.
He craned his neck to see if the queen was watching...ah yes, he couldn't see her very well with one eye closed. And it wouldn't do to look weak or unfit. He shook his head, trying to toss off the ichor that was running across his eye and already forming an uncomfortable crust on it. Then he forced the eye open, fighting against the gummy encumbrance. He could only get it about half-opened right now, but his vision seemed to be fine. Hopefully washing it off would fix the problem.
And now his momentum was running low, causing his flight path to sink. He couldn't have that! He spun right side up again, using the motion to swoop into a dive for some quick speed before rising up towards the queen again.
