Imbere did not know how to do the science-y s**t. Like really. She had tried in the past-- it always ended up with SOMEONE HURT. But for once, she tried it. JUST THIS ONCE.
The first time she tried, she failed horribly. It was funny-- so funny. It literally EXPLODED before her eyes. Imbere just sighed and kicked it.

Liela came back to try her thinking mind. Taking up the parts to create what she believed would be a good invention. Taking a look at her invention, it looked like a house hold hand made miniature catapulted, that fires little balls

Excited that this time her inventory will work. She goes over to the booth owner to see if its a good invention or not. This time she was able to show her idea. At least this time it disapeared on her.

With a bit of work (and as much brain power as he could muster, which wasn't much) Sludge was able to make a invention of his own.
A seesaw using a bolt and a piece of metal.

His invention also seemed to catch Maysy's eye, and she looked really happy with what he had made.
Which was good for him, as he couldn't think of anything else to make.

Judas had never just really put any effort into technical things. Puzzles were pretty nice, but this was not a puzzle. This was a nightmare. After he finally managed to force some parts together to do something it immediately fell apart. He frowned.
"Hey, you have any tips on this?"

How had Carlos missed this booth. HOW? Carlos clung to this booth climbing up and in. "Maysy." Carlos Laughed along with glee. Oh Jabberwockies. He loved them. He LOVED them. 'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe."I will try this!" Carlos climbed into the junk pile, giggling still happily. This was the best the best! Carlos took a few things and tried to put it together. Or rather just stacked things on top of eachother. "And the whatchmacallit goes with the howsitmadoodle. And this noisemaker goes over here." he hummed as he searched for a teacup. "Tea I need tea! how will this work without tea? And jam! I need Jam!" he crawled about searching about for jam fruitlessly. "Hold on. I will be back." Carlos scurried off for a few minutes coming back with a kettle and a half open jar of jam. He might have stolen them from other booths. "We need heat. For tea." he put the kettle down on a few parts from the breakfast machine and continued on his creative mode slapping the jam onto the pieces he had formed together. It was a sticky mess. Parts quickly started sliding and falling off but Carlos was untroubled. He just licked the jam off the old parts and added more on. After a few moments the kettle screamed and he pulled a cup out of his pocket and settled down for some tea. "Oh how rude of me. Would you like some tea? Let me just..." where did those other cups come from? He offered the two booth runners cups of tea. What kind of tea? It was a mystery. Who knew how long those teabags were in the cat's pockets. He set a cup down for each jobberwocky. Nothing Yet How did I miss this until now?! Carlos is here. Hello. SN: phantompanther13

Science, eh? Well, sure, why not? Arrakis had indeed heard the booth before he'd reached it--it was the reason he'd come this way in the first place. He had to see what was making all that noise! He watched the machine, and her, with some bemusement. He couldn't help chuckling a little when she started laughing that hard, if only because of the sheer enthusiasm with which she celebrated her own joke. Once the other that looked nearly like her gave him direction, though, he readily followed it.
He had not tried this very much before, and wasn't honestly sure what he could expect with the results, but it definitely looked like fun! What would he try to build, though? Arrakis thought it over carefully, looking at the parts. This was something he'd normally want to take more time to come up with an actual idea, but... Well, how about trying to build a megaphone? That was simple, but... maybe too simple?
He had not built very much. Simple was his friend, right now. So... a megaphone. A megaphone with a mute function. Alright, he could try that.
... No, no he could not. Arrakis watched with some amusement as the megaphone came apart no matter what he tried. The stopper to mute it also didn't engage properly and made it make a grating squawking noise instead. Well, that wasn't going to work. Deciding that this was not in the cards, he took it back apart and put the pieces where he'd gotten them before heading out to see what else he could try.

Quillan had absolutely no idea what he was doing. He took a tube and then put it next to another tube and then taped it together with some of that stuff that came off really easily and wasn't strong at all, as if it would hold the two tube together and as if there wasn't a better option. He then stuck random junk all around the tube, extending this way, until he wasn't sure how to describe it anymore .... but apparently it "worked"!

Benji's second attempt at making a breakfast machine of his own is once again, unsuccessful, shaking itself to pieces and rocketing one of its screws right up against his already hurt nose. This causes him to mewl in pain and give up on inventing for the night; perhaps he should try a simpler invention next time.

The nap booth had taken up most of his time, because really. But Waits soon drifted away from it and headed back into the rest of the carnival to see the other happenings and going ons that the interesting little students were putting together.
Like some of the others, the title above the booth was what attracted him over. Science was always oh such a delightful subject to him, and he had to be honest he was a little curious what kind of science these creatures considered themselves to be refined in. How much did they know, what silly little experiments did they put together?
Oh... breakfast. The horseman hummed to himself and thought it rather cute before he walked just a little closer to see the terms and rules. He raised a skeletal hand over to some of the items that he had to play with.
Yet nothing worked out with what he had. Primitive was his reasonings. Waits huffed lightly and walked away.

Form the bins of parts Lou pulled an old pair of running shoes, a watch, some batteries and a some miscellaneous bits and bobs. She combined them together to make a watch with rotating shoes that would make a sharp beep when you where running late. She was proud she'd come up with that pun all on her own too.
