SC stopped licking her paws and looked up at Mirai. "Oh! You wanted an answer? What happened to the whole "Stay out of this" thing? You do have the right idea with the constant attacks. But you see, you are stronger than Mary as she is now. It's not a matter of overpowering her; it's her healing factor. She's just going to wear you down. You need help causing enough damage fast enough to take her out." She cocked her head to the side as she waited for an answer. Mary pulled her arm back as Mirai cursed at her. "Oh give it a rest! Like you're the only one who's suffered!" Mary replied angrily. Mirai's headbutt landed dead on and Mary was too stunned to stop the spike from ramming straight through her, but somehow she was able to keep going. She turned her hands into claws again and made several swipes towards Mirai's face as she attempted to pull free from the spike.

Augmentation(s): Mary Weiss's blood is full of nano-machines injected into her during her augmentation process. These nano-machines drastically increase her healing rate but more importantly they allow her to artificially manipulate her blood into weapons and other physical attacks similar to black blood though without many of the effects of madness. Her bones have also been augmented to make them more robust, able to take much more damage than a normal human. Her nervous system is also enhanced to give her superior motor coordination and reaction times.

3. Blood Claws: Mary’s blood flows around her hands, creating large clawed hands around her own that she can manipulate as if they are her own. Lacerations caused by these claws are resistant to healing and the opponent is infected with nano-machines that continually cause internal damage until their immune system destroys them.

Mary frowned but didn't answer Mirai's comment. She spun as Mirai appeared again and faced her, watching the small gear appear behind her. She knew it was going to be some kind of increase in strength or special attack. She began focusing her energy too, but instead of manifesting it into two swords, she manifested it into one. A long, black katana formed in her hands. It gleamed with the ethereal light that her blood claws had. As soon as Mirai launched her attack, Mary responded in kind. She rushed forward and the two of them traded a literal blur of sword strikes and exploding sparks. Mary's sword was longer and seemed to be more solid, but she couldn't hit as fast as Mirai. Mirai was almost literally slicing her apart. When Mirai finally let up, Mary was completely covered in bloody wounds and her clothes were torn to shreds. She was still standing, but she had forgotten about the gear. When it unleashed its beam of light Mary wasn't able to get out of the way in time. The beam hit her with a glancing blow but it was still more than enough to lift her off the ground and send her spinning sideways until she landed several yards away. After a few seconds she slowly stirred and raised herself up onto one knee, using her sword for support. "That was bad..." she muttered quietly as she slowly looked up at Mirai. She was breathing heavily and was clearly pushed to her limit. SC was watching intently now, wondering whether Mirai would be able to finish off Mary by herself.

Mary was silent for a few moments. "What do you mean? They're in the dungeon. Where else would they be? It doesn't matter. You can't just walk in there." She gripped her sword tightly but didn't seem to be making any aggressive moves towards Mirai.

Mary was expecting the beams Mirai had in place to do something and she wasn't disappointed. As she stood they immediately fired. With her augmented reflexes she jumped straight up in the air, dodging most of the beams. One of them glanced off her side and she winced before flipping backwards and landing on the ground outside the target area the beams were looking at. She grabbed her side where the beam hit her but still managed to be standing. Mirai had done quite the number on her, and if not for her healing powers Mary would be in dire straights. She looked back and forth between the three there: Mirai, SC and Chilia. It was obvious from her expression that she wasn't happy with these odds. "Just leave," she told Chilia angrily. "You don't have any idea what's going on. This is none of your business. You can't get away with attacking Saint Clara in her own home." She gripped her black katana tightly as she spoke, ready to react to any surprise attacks.
