Helki wasn't expecting Zaire to show up at the carnival this soon. But then again, perhaps he had gone ahead and gotten carried away so much so that he wasn't paying attention to the amount of time that had passed since the last time he checked his watch. "I was early so I thought that I'll check out some of the booths first till you get here. Do you wanna get something to munch on when we're done here?"
He took the initiative of snagging the Mahamba boil's arm with a grin, obviously stoked that the other was finally here and they could enjoy the festivities together. Which was fine and dandy until he saw the masks that were revealed, his eyes darting excitedly from Zaire to the board while he quickly shouted out his choice before someone else got ahead of him. "Could I get number 13 and 36 please?"
Turning an apologetic smile at Zaire, he gently prodded his side. "There're still a couple more matches that no one has claimed yet. Hurry up and pick already slow poke!"

Hollandaise watched intently as Noland turned over the cards. His short hands were neither graceful nor the quieckest things she'd seen. Wrapping her arms around herself, she stared piercingly at the masks. Well, she hadn't gotten a match, but she could take a match before others.
"Numbers 4 and 23, please," she said placidly. Those masks were sort of pretty, she supposed, although the swirls looks almost utilitarian.

Ryou frowned intently as he stared at the cards as Noland was turning them over. That mask and that mask, wait, which mask was under that card again??? Ugh, whatever, hopefully these two match.

"Food sounds good.." And his attitude was instantly soothed with the mention of food, Helki really knew him too well. The monster boil scratched his cheek with his free hand and squeezed against Helki's as he locked around him. He was more than ready to go along with Helik's pull but stopped as the other did. Watching the mask pop up and those around him call out matches he sighed lazily and waited for a chance to break his voice through. After Helik's encouragement he grumbled out a choice, "22 and 34...?" That was a match right, they looked the same from where he was, ah well if not he tried...kind of.

Adelaide had meant to come by sooner, but...there were so many distractions on the way! Even so, the Nightmare finally approached Noland's booth, giving the dark boil a winning smile. She quickly made haste of learning the rules and seeing the numbers -- some with masks exposed. So many! She bit her bottom lip, perusing them, taking her time of it. It was fun, after all!
"May I claim 14 and 18? Their masks are kinda like yours. And speaking of..." She leaned over and plucked one of the masks off the table that was a reproduction of Noland's, quite pleased. "Now this is a souvenir!"

"8 and 31 please" Shiki was back again and he bounced on his toes as he peered at the board. The masks were so nice and he enjoyed even the chance to look at them. He peered down at the blank mask in front of him and picked it up, wandering off to see if he could color on it. ((ID: Steal))

Okay it was far from scary but Shiki had been a bit bored and it was all he could think of. He kind of missed home and the cherry trees, so that was what he had drawn on the mask. Laying the mask on the table he shly kept his head down afraid of what may be said.  ((SN: Steal)

Amarus was pretty sure she saw a pair already. She squinted at it, as if making sure. Could she just choose one that had already been revealed? Well, yes. Had anyone else chosen it? Not that she could tell but she wasn't sure.
"May I choose 5 and 35?" she asked, pointing.
That was, she thought, how this ought to work.
