Roxie ended up feeling bad for what she said about magic not being real after Lambert pointed out that he won't take offense. Maybe she had to be a wizard to understand what it feels to conjure magic, but she had to at least consider those who truly use them.
"Sorry about that. Sometimes I get too expressive of my own feelings. It was meant to be an opinion but I must have said it as if it were a fact...well, I should probably go. Thank you for the meal. If you ever need to find me, I'll be some place where I'll be doing my thing, so just find a place full of danger and excitement and that's where I'll be."
With all the desserts finished, she got up from the booth, picked up her skateboard, then gave Lambert a friendly slap on his shoulder as she walked out of the restaurant, then skateboarded to her next unknown destination.
