"slaves, guards, everyone loves to gossip so I hear bits and pieces but yes I have heard some thing but would love to hear more" Ren said looking at him, "I can only help so much other then that it up to you and dancer to fix this trouble or problem you have." She had her own stuff she had to fix but she did not need her best people caught up in there own for that meant she could loss them.

Menoetius brushed his hair back in slight frustration and shook his head, "Dancer just seemed so convinced that I'm going to get killed by this Malphas person." Meno stayed quiet for a moment and looked at his dim reflection in the water the vial that held Dancer's soul slipping out of his shirt and the light reflecting against the water; he tucked it back in and gave an exasperated sigh, "But what if he's right?"

"you get killed really I find that hard to believe for you are one of my strongest" Ren said as she splashed some water with her feet, " Who is this Malphas person that Dancer is so worried about? For he a has nothing to worry about you are strong and it would take a hell of a lot to kill you. He has nothing to fear." She really did not get why Meno's slave was so worried about. No one could kill Meno and if they got him mad or harmed Dancer they would regret it. "if his that worried ask him what you could do to stop his worry for you" she said, "you have people here that could help."

Meno smiled at her words and watched her splash, "I guess he was one of Dancer's father's followers or something. He's been holding a grudge against Dancer for killing his father and now he plans to kill me. Dancer did grow up with him around so I'd figure he knows him best but I feel he doubts my abilities." He took out the vial and pressed it to his lips, "I was harsh with him before I left... really harsh. I can still feel it in his soul. But I feel he will always worry protected or not."

Ren had to laugh at that for a bit. "sorry but I killed my own father and my nephews and many other family and I still want to kill more and don't care what followers do or say" she said, "sure some people are very loyal to there master and have power but Dancer dose not know you or what you can do." Really this slave was going to be a pain if he did not stop worrying for much. He was nothing but problems since they found him. "how about show dancer you can take care of your self by dealing with this Malphas." she said

"I just always thought he saw me as someone who'd be able to protect him and myself.. But I have thought of facing Malphas myself but I know nothing of him and I can't track him mentally.. he also knows my weakness to spider lily." Meno bit at his bottom lip trying to think, "It's a high risk to fight him with no information..."

He was right about that as Ren thought of what could help. Not knowing ones enemy could get one killed fast. "Will I have never heard of him before but I would go ask Kael if he has every heard of him or even asking dancer what he knows on the person" she said, "it may not be much but it will be a start to help out." It was all she could give right now since she did not know where half of her top people where or her mate. Not only that she knew some where out on mission for the re.

Meno sighed in thought, "Dancer would most likely know more than anyone, that I'm sure of but if I asked about Malphas' weaknesses I know he would know what I'm up to. I guess I'll have to put him in his place as a slave and make him give me information, I never really thought it would come to this." He stood adjusting his clothes and looked down into the water, "Maybe I could push my luck and fight him with knowing nothing. But I know Dancer would never forgive me if I did. But since you're here, anything new for you since the move? Everything has sounded generally calm but this is the first time me being out of my room."

"you wanted him but he is still a slave so please don't for get that" Ren said giving him a look. There has been a few times where some one had fallen for a slave and would take them to there room and treated them as equals; which led to trouble for the person. "Not much can't find my mate or some other people I would like to have words with and not only that I lost Alice agian" she said, "really I am going to have to lock that girl up in a box and make sure she is close at all time. But so far everything is going good and we have attack plans being made."

Menoetius closed his eyes for a moment, he didn't realize he was treating Dancer as his equal up until now, it had been the first time he ever demanded anything of him but he knew if he were to fight Malphas he would have to say his apologies and silent goodbyes to his slave. "That girl can never stay still.. But it's clear she has fallen in love and there's no stopping her." He seemed to smirk as he said this and opened his eyes, "Unless you take the Malphas method and try to take down the one she adores. Then she'd have nothing to return to. But surely enough Gin and everyone will make their appearance, I doubt he specifically could stay away that long." Meno seemed to tease and twirled a strand of her bright hair, returning back to his playful and wicked self again.

"I could I would love to make Alice suffer more for it just fun to hear and see her pain on her face" Ren said smiling, "but from what my spies say she is with a demon and that might make it harder for me to try and get." she smiled as she looked at him and thought of her love and every one jsut living happy in a new owrl with them in rule. "what do you dream of Menoetius?" she asked him as she went ti lean on him.

Gypsy stood on the sandy beach of the secluded swimming area, thankfully very alone right now. She knew more than anyone besides Esabel right now about what had happened. She'd felt it. Somehow, she'd managed to gain some kind of connection to Shade that she didn't understand. Now, she knew he was gone. The last of her family. She was now truly alone. She simply stood there for a long moment then drew her rose-vine etched sword from behind her and stared at it before giving a growl of pent up emotions and drove it into the sand as she knelt on one knee behind it. There was a brief moment of silence, then the sand erupted in her DarkFlames, surrounding her in them until it was hard to see her at all. When they died down, she was visibly changed. Everything about her was darker. She wore shadow-gray leathers, her hair was a darker auburn instead of her usual flame-colored tresses, her lips were so dark a red that they were almost black against her pale skin, and her eyes... her crimson eyes... they'd changed as well... They were now so dark that they held no fire in them. Her expression was now as cold as Shade's had been, all of her emotions over the massive loss now bottled up deep inside of her. She got to her feet, ignoring the sand-turned-to-glass as it shattered around her in the process, and considered her sword. After a moment, she casually pulled it from the sand and smashed the blade against a rock, breaking the glass around it. The rose vines that were once pure gold were now deep bronze. The once-gleaming blade was now the purest of blacks. She turned the blade over to look at the stone that had been embedded in the pommel and gave a simple nod at the obsidian that rested there now. That done, she sheathed it and turned to head back and give Morrigan her next task, her boots smashing the glass that had once been soft sand...

As the woman sheathed her blade, and began walking across the glass. A tempest of wind burst into creation from out over the water behind her. With it was a voice, though no words could be made out, save for one " Gypsy" . The air grew arctic while it formed a current around the large cavern. Then came the rush of images of a small boy. These images followed the boy through his life to adulthood. They came to end as they traveled through the man's pupils, and into complete darkness. She would feel herself moving through this darkness, despite the fact that she would be unable to see anything, for a time. Finally in the distance a pair of crimson lights blazed in the distance. First the advance would be slow, then it would rush forward to bring her face to face with her Grandfather. Her eye sight would be restored after a second of staring into his eyes.

To say it was confusing would have been an understanding. But her grandfather had told her to simply go with it whenever his goddess gave instruction. So she simply lowered her head in consent and closed her eyes in an effort to block the image of her grandfather out. She knew she was to find the boy, now grown into a man. She knew it had something to do with her grandfather. Beyond that, she quite probably missed alot. She'd never closed her emotions off like this before but had managed to close herself off enough that she wasn't even feeling the arctic chill from the visitation. Gypsy kept her head down for a long moment, her eyes still closed even as she raised her head and turned back towards the exit. Her head tilted slightly as she assessed how numb she felt in this moment and wondered at it. The lack of emotion did feel amazingly like numbness and she thought she'd be able to carry on with none the wiser to what she'd experienced with Shade's death. They might ask her about her change in appearance, but she could shrug that off as nothing more than a change for a while. She was really trying to convince herself to continue, to keep moving and work at forgetting when her new task was over. Meeting Shade had given her hope and family. Hope was too insidious an emotion for her to deal with right now. It snuck up on you, made you bring your protective walls down. She needed those walls if she was to survive his death and her new life alone. All of this moving through her mind in a flash without ever opening her darker eyes, giving the one watching her the chance to take in her new look...

A feeling of Hatred filled the air like tar. The wind roared with a mournful "No" at the hurt it felt from it's child. The cavern began to quake, yet nothing broke loose from the cavern ceiling above. The torrent of wind grew in it's ferocity, the waters churned as if someone had pulled the plug out of a bathing tub. Loud echoing cracks sound seeming from thin air. The glass beneath her feet shattered, though it did so as if under a tremendous weight, pressing it down into the sand. Then came the solar flare like flashes of eerie Green light. The weight of a heavy silver chain pull at her neck. A long silver chain hung around her throat, and hanging from it was an emerald the size of a pack of cigarettes. The jewel gleamed with the light of a thousands of souls. With another crack followed by a flash of green light, A scythe appeared before her, floating in the air. This weapon was easily taller than she, and made of pure Obsidian glass. The haft was decorated with silver vines of thorns, the blade itself was forged into a long broad blade serrated with sharpened hooks arching back towards the holder. Before she would be able to claim this weapon. The unnatural occurrences increased ten fold, until she would wonder if her senses would withstand this onslaught. The cavern quaked, and finally cracked enough to open new spout holes for the draining lake water. The flash the followed was enough to rival the golden onset of Heaven. Among this whiteout appeared a vertical eye like shape as black as the light was white. Slowly the oculus opened, first by it'self then came the appearance of skeletal onyx hands. After a moment of pulling at the seams of reality, a Figure burst forth. The light, wind, quakes and lightening cracks all seemed to implode in on themselves as the figure burst forth. Now hovering in the air opposite the scythe from Gypsy. Was a large uninhabited, shadowy cloak with blazing crimson eyes, glaring down at her. If her Grandfather had been stoic? This creature was empty of any kind of feeling. It's eyes held the intellect of a primal God, born of bloody hollowed ground.
