Into the fires of battle! Wuflric Von Shadowfang xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Wulfric sat down in front of the spread he was given, obviously they tended to keep their stores stocked full of meat just to provide a proper meal to a wolf though he noted that the food smelled much better and had no trouble digging into the meat he was given. While Wulfric ate he couldn't help but go back to what the prisoner said before, while he had a hard time believing spirits of that calibre would be handing out contracts it somewhat confirming a suspicion he had. Having been around the mercenary work for centuries he could remember times when there was a very low demand for any assistance, especially contracts revolving around killing a wolf or vampire or anything, there was always someone who had a vengeful spirit for one reason or another but most of the contracts were completed by the time anyone could reach the target or even accept it. this problem eventually worked itself out but a lot of the hunts he'd been contracted to carry out in the past always seemed to be double booked, and he started to wonder if that had anything to do with what was happening now.
Wulfirc shook his head and sighed lightly, he knew it was going to be another lead he was going to have to look into at some point and if push comes to shove find a information Broker with loose lips that might be able to shed some light on this problem, if Wulfric knew anything it was that there was always someone who knew something and it was a matter of finding them and getting them to talk. for now though Wulfric had other matters to deal with, it was obvious that esabel would start to get anxious at some point so finding means to... well alright Wulfric knew how to occupy her time it was still a matter that there were things that needed taken care of and having another session of play time in bed was going to have to wait until a more appropriate time, though truth be told how long that would be varied on how wound up Esabel got with certain forms of stimulation, and right now she was easily wound up just because of all the whip, claw and bite marks on her body, she was simply a ticking time bomb of lust and desire and eventually he knew going back to the room would end up happening again but for now there was a job that need doing and a mysterious contractor to track down that had a hit on their both esabel's and his lives.
For a time he looked at Esabel and couldn't help but grin her demeanor was what attracted people to her and he was no exception to this, well at least not at first, for him he saw a young girl that needed looking after and that first impression was all he saw just another job. Now it seemed like everything changed for him, this wasn't just a job anymore though the pay was still good he no longer saw the job of protecting her rather he saw the partner that he never had in so long, it was odd how she changed his perception of things in such a short time and didn't want this to change, if anything it gave him the motivation and desire to keep her close and protect her from those who wanted her dead. and it seemed like there were plenty who wanted that to happen though just how many were left on base was still unknown, it was hard to say if the most recent attacker was a resident of this base or an outside source, though he suspected that it was the latter of the two possibilities based on what little he knew now. sitting up straight suddenly he realized that that could be the only explanation how did they make contact with people who they wanted to make a contract with, there were few in the regional area that handled contracts, middleman were the most common but they didn't always handle contracts that required you to meet the client, for the most part the clients that left contracts with a middlemen preferred to be anonymous for fear of the merc being paid off to back stab them, which left very few options, mercenary groups and organizations that tend to supply their own people to do the dirty work as work and payment is accepted, the mercenary groups varied in their payment preference some usually wanted half now half after the job was done others wouldn't do it without the full payment being given up front, and then there were the rare few that lived off of trusting their clients to pay up when the job was complete, not many of those groups around.
the other potential was that a organization was involved at which point it would be extremely difficult to track them down as they tended to keep their business affairs a closely guarded secret not leaving much room for anything to chance and only coming out of the shadows to either accomplish a contract or use a third party throw away to throw the trail off of them, which meant clients didn't necessary find them rather they tended to find the clients which was what made it difficult as the information is never disclosed due to being anonymous and the payment is usually paid in advance to guarantee that the client could pay their asking price and not have any second thoughts when the job was completed or while in the process of being fullfilled. it was hard telling just how many organizations were out there that still operated with their own personnel and equipment which meant trying to find someone who knew anything was the name of the game which also meant that he needed this prisoner to talk or find someone who could talk.
Wulfric smiled briefly before he returned to eating, for now he would have to wait until he either talked to Nalyne or get the prisoner to speak up about the job particulars and also determine whether or not he was working alone or had someone on the inside that assisted in getting that close, as well as determine if more were more waiting in the shadows waiting to attack when they least expected it. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Unto the anvil of war!

Esabel was oblivious to Wulfric’s train of thought. She was simply enjoying the food and being close to him. For the most part, she tended to live in the moment instead of planning for and looking into the future. It simply wasn’t in her nature to live that way. She also tended to get distracted by shiny objects. In a treasure room, she’d be like a case of ADD gone insane. It was why she loved her playroom and why it had been put in place for her to begin with. People tended to give her gifts along those lines too; mainly things like the transportable ‘toys’ Gin had given her once. The rest of the things in her rooms she’d acquired over a long time on her own. So when one of the servants put a piece of triple-chocolate cake in front of her, she gave a very happy, “Yays!” then surprised the hell out of the slave by pulling him for a very brief kiss on his lips for it. She released him right after then devoted herself to the delicious dessert with plenty of sounds that were almost identical to the sounds that Wulfric had pulled from her only a little bit ago. Those sounds got her even more attention as looks of pure and total interest focused on her, so many minds in the place wondering if they could get her to make those sounds for them. But she didn’t notice any of that. In fact, she didn’t even notice Wulfric’s attention on her since she was so focused on the chocolate cake. She didn’t notice it when Wulfric got a dessert of his own, only it was more along the lines of something that would appeal to his wolf. Namely, choice parts from a freshly hunted deer. There was no poison or anything bad in either dessert. They were just something special given to them from the slaves and staff in return for Wulfric making Esabel so happy. It proved, yet again, that while they feared her totally, they also loved her totally. And that included him now since he was the one attached to her and making her happy. But plans were already in the works to spoil things for them. There were, indeed, more conspirators in place, some of them having been in place for a very long time and only now activated. Nothing was planned for while they were eating or even for shortly after that, but something else was coming that would give them even more to think about. The first part of the planned attack was someone already inside the prison killing their prisoner. Not the healer or his assistants, but another prisoner recently captured and intended to become a slave until he could earn his freedom. No one saw it happen, but the Bone Sentinels acted on it anyway, acting on the directives that Ilea had set into them when she’d created them. The one that killed their prisoner was killed in return, leaving Wulfric and Esabel with two new corpses. And with Ilea away from the base, they had no one to bring them back for their information… But for now, they had nothing to worry about and nothing to do but enjoy their meal and desserts. While Wulfric had to deal with the attention that was being directed at Esabel over the sounds she was making while eating a triple layer triple chocolate piece of cake…

Into the fires of battle! ] Wuflric Von Shadowfang xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Wulfric lost his train of thought when the dessert showed up, the smell of fresh kill was obvious as his mouth watered in inticipation. He looked at Esabel who was overly enjoyed by hers and was making cute little noises as she took a bite, he couldn't help nut chuckle slightly before he turned to his and started eating it. it didn't take him very longto eat his up and while he waited for Esabel to finish hers he glanced around and noticed the crowd that was forming around them, Wulfric kept one hand close to the grip of his pistol, but made it look as if he really didn't care about the crowd in all likelihood they were there because of how Esbal was reacting to her dessert and figured they would move on when the "show" was over. Wulfric rubbed his chin a bit as he watched her, doing his best to not become aroused by her little noises and trying to decide on what they were going to do until the prisoner awoke, though little did he know his prisoner was already dead... xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Unto the anvil of war!

She finally finished her cake with a long suck on her fork that had a few of the males actually groaning before she pushed that and her plate away and crossed her arms on the table, putting her chin on them as she focused on Wulfric with a small smile, “Esabel really liked my dessert… Did you like yours, Puppy?” she asked him softly, unable to stop the small shiver that went thorugh her as her position made a few of the lash marks across her back pull a bit, reminding her of him wielding the lash that had given her the marks. Around them, and oblivious to Esabel yet again, the crowd dispersed with more than a few people saying that they were headed to the Pillow Room for a little relief. The Pillow Room and the Cliff ledges were the only places she hadn’t shown Wulfric, though she’d explained them to him during their tour. That first trip through the base had included the blacksmith and Wulfric had ordered some of his special bullets to be made by the smithy. Those would be ready to be picked up by now, though they’d more likely be sent to his rooms by a trusted slave. For now, though, Esabel was looking like a kitten that had eaten the canary, swiped the cream, and nabbed a fish while she was at it. In short, she looked perfectly contented and even a little smug for everything he’d given her earlier. Though that could have been the bite mark she’d given him on his neck earlier that was fully visible right now with the way his shirt fit him. Her look was interrupted when a slave wearing the golden slave collar they all wore walked into the dining hall and passed a note to Esabel, leaving immediately after giving it to her. Just in case she was the kill-the-messenger type. She read the note and frowned, “Well poopie-pie… This sucks major nasty intestines…” she said very inventively, clearly not liking the contents of the message. She finally looked up at Wulfric with that frown, “Seems the idiot gots himself killed by another prisoner and Ilea’s Bone Sentinels went and killed the other idiot. Sos we don’t have no one to gets more information from. Too bad Ilea’s not at home right now. We really could use a dead-person person an’ Ilea’s really good at them,” she explained, though getting through her strange speech would take a bit of work this time. In short, they now had two corpses and the only necromancer with the Re wasn’t in the base right now…

Into the fires of battle! Wuflric Von Shadowfang xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Wulfric nodded his approval when asked about his dessert, but was irritated when they were informed that the prisoner was dead along with the attacker, "not good looks like whoever is out to kill us wanted to make sure we didn't get any information out of him" putting his face in his hands he couldn't help but be frustrated for ending their interregation so soon, though doing that only ran the risk of him just strangling the man eventually as much as he was carrying on.
looking up from his hands he looked at Esabel "well it seems events are happening that are out of our control, we're going to have to seek information elsewhere though where i'm not sure, perhaps your uncle would be able to shed some light on the situation once he's out of his meeting, though if the source of the attacks are coming from an outside source we'll have to tread carefully especially if we end up having to go look for the enemy from outside the base" Wulfric was concerned at that prospect, up to this point the attacks have been contained and easily repelled, going out where he spent the majority of his time at working as a mercenary wasn't any place Esabel to be especially considering they are being hunted. But wulfric hoped it wouldn't come to that and started thinking of a plan to catch one alive and in much better condition than the last and with some luck be able to get some answer then, but how could he plan to set a trap if he couldn't be sure of the loyalties of the guards around them, while some he was sure of not having been bought the number of guards that he could trust to keep this quiet were limited, so it would be up to him to figure this out and play it by ear, it also meant that while Esabel would complain just a bit at them not being able to cuddle up and have some fun in bed, he would need to be focused and ready to fight back when the next attack came, it also meant he was going to have to set a trap but he was going to have to need equipment to set this trap, the problem was the hallways had to many eyes and moving certain things would not go unnoticed, which meant resources was going to be limited as long as there were assailants about. so the only thing he could soundly agree on was he was going to have to use themselves as bait and be ready to attack.
Wulfrics senses though didn't leave him without feeling as if they were being watched a bit more closely than usual which only confirmed that there were still people in the bases residents that were on the hunt. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Unto the anvil of war!

“Esabel isn’t happy either… He screamed really nicely and Esabel didn’t get to play with his insides… They usually scream a lot when I do that,” she said in a grumpy tone of voice as she put her elbow on the table with her chin in her hand. Even grumpy, she looked adorably attractive… But her mind was still active and she picked up on things a lot better than most would expect of her from the way she acted, “Guess this means no more bedtime fun for a while… No cuddles neither…” she guessed accurately without realizing that she was following his train of thought as well. Truthfully, she’d be able to help him construct whatever trap he wanted. Her dark energy was fully capable of creating whatever he wanted or even transporting them to different places. Though the latter had a few issues… “Too bad Portal likes to take me to places Esabel didn’t plan on going to… Once I tried to go to the Sandman Base to tease Masa-Puppy, but Portal took me to Daddy-Gin’s lab instead. Does stuff like that all the time… Volug could make it go where we wanted to go, but Daddy-Gin made him for me so he was able to order Portal around… But he went and got himself blowed up with Daddy-Gin and Renny-Lady…” she said, still in that grumpy tone. But she’d just given him an important piece of information that could be very useful to his plans… Esabel could form portals to other places… She just couldn’t control where they would wind up on the other side of it. But it would still come in handy in an emergency, no matter where the portal spit them out. It wasn’t a big deal for her to talk to him about this piece of information where they were right now since everyone in the base knew she could form portals. But that piece of information could also let him know that her dark energy was a source that he could use to advantage, if he could get her help in planning a trap…

Into the fires of battle! Wuflric Von Shadowfang xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Wulfric thought about it for a time, he'd had to prepare for a quick escape if it came to that point but he needed a spot where they were at their most vulnerable, and while the idea was to go looking for information elsewhere having playtime would be the only time the would be the most vulnerable. he'd have to create a trap that could be tied into a device that could create a means for them to be alerted should someone go through the main door which would be unlocked. looking at Esabel he grinned "not necessarily as i figure if we are to catch another assailant perhaps drawing them in while we are occupied would be the best idea, though we'll need to get back to the room as i have some minor planning to do and will need some assistance getting materials, and if things start going badly, your ability to teleport could be useful for our survival should things not go according to plan and start falling apart." Wulfric Stopped at that point to allow what he said to sink in. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Unto the anvil of war!

Esabel tried to follow his words. She really did. But she got distracted, as usual, by something that caught her eye. She found the hilt of one of his daggers absolutely fascinating and took it to look over the details, “Whatever Puppy wants to do, Esabel’ll do it,” she said absently. She rose when he did and followed him from the dining hall, but her eyes were fixed on the dagger. She traced her fingers over the entire thing but especially along the sharp edges, part of her mind wondering if it would slice cleanly enough to leave a tiny scar. That thought made her wonder if she could get him to leave her a permanent mark so that she’d never forget him and everyone would know that she was his. She wouldn’t ask for it. She wouldn’t mention it to him. But it still hovered there, at the back of her mind: wondering if he wanted to keep her as his and show everyone that she belonged to him in the oldest of primal instincts… ((Exit))

As they moved into the Mess Hall, Esabel’s presence alone got them a cleared pathway and dead silence in the entire building. Just as they’d gotten the entire way here. So Lancaster had been forced to listen to nothing but Esabel’s nonsensical prattling all along the way here. There were a few guards here that were genuinely glad to see Esabel up and about. On the battlefield she was a powerhouse that was as unrivaled as she was unpredictable. But there were even more that would have been even happier to have seen her never to have been awakened again. As Esabel left Lancaster to head to the food line to see about what to get them to eat, a few of the less-than-friendly guards approached him, “Why did you have to go and wake her up, b*****d? We were fine without the little Nutcase! Now she’s back and there’s no telling what she’s going to do next. We’ve been trying to get rid of her for years now. We’re not the only ones, by any means. She’s got more enemies than the worst of any Demons out of Hell’s Cradle. But now you come along and wake her up just when she’s almost gone… Thanks a lot, you piece of…” one of the other guards grabbed his arm before he could hit Lancaster just as Esabel came back and caught the whole thing. She looked at Lancaster and pointed to a table in a corner where they could both see the whole room, “We’s got that one, Esabel’s new Babysitter. They’s settin’ it up for us an’ will bring our food direct from Lily’s stash,” she told him simply before turning to face the guards with a tilt of her head that they’d long become familiar with and learned to fear. Especially when she gave that small smile of hers. Then they began to reek of it to such an extent that no Harvester could escape the soul-high of the potential feast that she was presenting - from nothing more than a small smile… “Esabel don’t much like her new Babysitter right now. But he’s what she’s got. Maybe there’ll be a new one later. Maybe not. Maybe Esabel will live this time. Maybe one of them ‘Sassin’s will get in a lucky hit this time. Don’t know. But Esabel knows one thing that you don’t…” she said simply then paused in the silence that surrounded them all. The guards waited until the hothead just had to ask, “What?!” She gave one of her giggles that was attractive to hear instead of annoying and blew the idiot a kiss before she simply put her hand in the crook of Lancaster’s arm to lead him over to their table, “Esabel knows that you won’t live to see it, of course. Silly, idiot…” she said softly. Behind them, the hothead reacted as if he’d been punched dead center in the face before slowly sliding to his knees. As they took their seats at the table, Lancaster had a perfect view as the idiot started to convulse for a brief moment then turned to look in their direction and gave her new ‘master’ a perfect view of the man’s eyes as his mind broke first while his body broke down in front of everyone. Esabel, meanwhile, simply got started with eating her portion of their meal, “Don’t worry. After Lily yelled at me last time, Esabel figured out how to contain it until it’s over so that the place stays sani- … sanu- … sanilulu---… Whatever that word is…” she waved her fork to indicate that she really didn’t care what the word was and was annoyed with the limitation to her ‘fun’, “Besides, some of ‘em here can feed off the fear and such so they don’t mind it when Esabel does stuff like that. Now eat up. They’s got good food today,” she finished and applied herself to the meal with gusto. Anyone else would have been on a soft and bland diet with the stitches and staples that still covered her body. But Esabel was going at fresh game with wild vegetables all grilled to perfection and normally not what one would serve to someone that had only recently gotten their guts out back together. (And she was scratching at a few of them along one leg indicating that they were healing fast enough that the stitches could come out of the claw marks there.) Whatever had attacked Esabel was taking slower to heal than it should have. But her time with Lancaster in her room had brought her back from Death’s Door, she just hadn’t been fully healed yet. There simply weren’t that many beings or creatures that could injure someone like Esabel that badly. There were, in fact, only two currently on the base that could do it. They wouldn’t have done it, but their species could have. There was another suspect, but they’d given up on killing Esabel. No matter what… That left Lancaster needing to talk to Nalyne for more reasons than the Mark on his cheek that was now taking on the shape of a deformed spider web. The only thing was that it couldn’t seem to make up its mind what it would be and kept shifting into a different pattern. Just as Esabel kept shifting to a different plate on the table… Including eating from his plate… While leaning over the table… With her barely covered a** waving in the air… With plenty of people staring at it… And she didn’t notice that part one bit… Or the numerous popped stitches and staples she hadn’t bothered to take care of… All she seemed to notice at this point was sampling every plate spread out over their table… She didn’t even notice it when she took a drink of the light ale they’d been served and some of it moved down her neck to soak into her white halter-tank, way too many eyes followed that bit… But, then again, Esabel had never really had a… Possessive… babysitter before… So it would be a first for her if Lancaster went in that direction. It wasn’t that she put herself on display. Not at all. She was simply Esabel. She usually lived her life like a carefree wandering wild-child with the attention span of a toddler with ADD from hell… Especially when it came to sparkly objects and Gin’s old poison cabinet. She didn’t pay any attention to how attractive she was. It simply didn’t register. Clothing was an inconvenience to her since it got in the way of her favorite ‘games’ so she wore as little of it as possible but did choose what would show her favorite color the most. The unfortunate side of that was that white tended to show off everything else and also showed off every mark that went onto or into her pale skin no matter how it got there. Right now, for instance, every one on the base could see every injury that Esabel had gotten in the attack that had almost killed her. But they could also see every mark, and Mark, that Lancaster had given her when he’d… enjoyed… her in her room. So they knew that he was her new babysitter and they also knew that he’d staked a claim of some sort on her. But they could also tell that he didn’t want to be here with her and, therefore, had no problems openly staring and admiring at the ‘property’ he’d only just claimed. If Nalyne managed to help him with Esabel’s ‘mark’ and he was able to leave without her… Well, best to let Nalyne explain that one…

Seeing so many eyes on Esabel brought forth a growl from Lancaster, one that he hadn't done in a long time. He wasn't sure why, given how Esabel was more or less a ******** of convenience, but to see all those eyes gawking at what was his.... well, he didn't appreciate any bit of it. The Harvester tried to restrain himself, tell himself that these plebes were entitled to whatever they wanted, but it was not working. For them to gawk at his prize like savages was disrespectful to him, even if Esabel was little better than a child in an adult body. As the guards feasted their eyes, Lancaster rose to his feet with a chilling calm that would unnerve even the stoutest of warriors, especially if they knew him. "Quite the sight, isn't it?" He asked, moving out of the way so they could all get a better view. As if to entice them, a shadowy hand rose from the ground and grabbed Esabel's clothing, ripping it off her so she was bared naked before them all. Lancaster took a moment to scout out whoever was closest, seeing a guard dare try to reach for Esabel when she wasn't looking. Instead of touching her, he touched Lancaster's chest, and the Harvester snarled before running his thin hand right through the guard's chest. A pained cry of surprise became a howl of pain, the guard withering into a husk of a shell before the Harvester pulled his hand back. "She. Is. Mine." He growled, and with a wave of his hand a black miasma rolled into the room to kill off more guards, robbing them of their life. The rest backed away as he approached, the miasma following him like a thick cloak. "Any of you go near here, and I will kill you. You, your family, your friends; I will kill them." Just to make his point, he pounced upon one of the guards who threatened him and shifted his hands to claws. ripping the fellow apart while the rest ran away. After such a display of savagery, he looked to Esabel and approached her, licking blood off his hands with a growl before pushing her on the table. he held her down by her neck, ignoring the searing pain of whatever she did to his face while staring her in the eyes. "Don't you ever do that again." He growled, tightening his grip as his Mark flared up to reinforce his command. "You are mine. And you will do as I say. Understand?"

Esabel had no idea why Lancaster suddenly went off like he did. She had no issue with him ripping her clothes off since she actually didn’t care about nudity. It wasn’t an issue for her. But it did reveal the full extent of her injuries to everyone present and quite a few of the guards winced and turned away, the guards that actually cared about her and respected her. They left before Lancaster really went psychotic on everyone. The slaves that served in the kitchen could almost smell this one coming and disappeared into the furthest and safest part of the building. She was looking very confused by the time he turned to her and approached her, really having no idea what she’d done to incite his anger towards her. She truly had no idea what she’d done wrong. Then he had his hand on her throat, pressing her to the table and telling her not to do something again and her temper snapped- Well… Part of her snapped… Again… The mess hall was cleared of the living by the time her power slapped him away from her again, “Esabel didn’t do nothin’ wrong! Esabel was just Esabel! You don’ like it, you go pick someone else to beat on! Master beat on Esabel an’ Esabel didn’t likeded it! Now Master’s Dead! You can be too, Babysitter! Make up your mind! You want Esabel or you don’t want Esabel!” she yelled back at him. While she was a construct, a created being; she was beyond unique: she had a will of her own, she was insane, she was into bondage, she was into torture and being tortured on occasion, she was scatterbrained to an extent that she gave insane people migraines, she was sexy as hell, she’d been created to be adorable enough that her creator wouldn’t destroy her… And she carried enough power within her to destroy the planet if the idea popped into her head… She got up from the table with her hair looking like she’d just been rolled in the sack as it framed her pale skin marred by the stitches and staples from the attack that had nearly killed her and the marks of his possession of her, her dark eyes glaring at him as she slowly approached him with that small smile of hers that had inspired such fear in the guards only moments before. “What should Esabel not do? Not be Esabel? What did Esabel do wrong? You want Esabel to belong to you but you don’t want Esabel… Make up you’s mind, Babysitter…” she said in a soft sing-song tone as she moved towards him on the balls of her feet as if she were dancing through the carnage he’d created. In a way, she was his perfect match. She reveled in the carnage. Bloodshed was her bread and butter. She got off on that as much as she did bondage and even he wouldn’t be able to miss that scent right now. She moved right up to him without fear and fisted her hand in his hair as she moved up on her toes to snap her teeth right in front of his lips, “You want’s to use Esabel, that’s fine… But if’n you don’t want’s to stay around, don’t have fits when they’s looks at Esabel… Esabel will play… Lancaster can play… Games can be fun…” she whispered to him softly, her voice showing that she’d gotten herself hot and bothered. Then she kissed him, making sure that he got the point when she bit his lower lip hard enough to draw blood just enough to spice the kiss perfectly. A kiss like that should have lead to them christening the dining hall in age-old fashion… But Esabel pulled back from the kiss and danced out of his reach with a playful laugh, her dark hair moving around her and giving him teasing glimpses of her pale skin, “New game, Babysitter… Lancaster has to find Esabel to play with her… Esabel won’t leave the base, but Esabel didn’t finish giving you the tour… So finding your playtoy won’t be easy…” she teased him right before she simply disappeared in a swirl of dark energy… ((EXIT))

Into the fires of battle! Wuflric Von Shadowfang xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx As usual Esabel's lack of awareness never ceased to amaze but then again she didn't have to worry with him around, the looks everyone gave them was no surprise everyone friend and foe alike had come to expect that where one went the other was right there. it wasn't long before they entered into the dining hall, Wulfric glanced around and spotted a few tables secluded from the rest which would give them peace and quiet without having to deal with loose cannons from going off needlessly. Wulfric guided Esabel to one of those tables and sat down, it wasn't long before a slave showed up with cart full of food for the two of them consisting the usual meal for the two of them, a full plate for Esabel and a large spread of different kinds of prepared meat for Wulfric's dining pleasure. Wulfric grinned at the spread and started eating all the while figuring out what he was going to say to Lily and Nalyne, they were going to need answers to which he was going to have to find when the time allowed for him to do so, and push came to shove he'd go through with marking Esabel and then go hunting but he'd leave that as a last resort. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Unto the anvil of war!

Esabel dove into her food and ate with the usual way she enjoyed it: full of noises she usually made when they were in the bedroom. This time, she even moved up over the table to taste a bit of his venison and beef but skipped over the duck before moving back to her own plate. Unfortnunately, she’d drawn quite a bit of attention to her barely covered backside in the process. More than a few giving admiring looks, and some of those were turned into considering looks at Wolfe. It didn’t take much to figure that one out, though. They were wondering how long he’d last or when they’d be able to get her alone, without the guard-dog watching over her… While plenty of them would have gladly taken Esabel on for an hour or a night, a few of those looks were more like considering the possibilities of getting her by herself so that they could collect the bounty on her head instead of trying to get in her pants. It didn’t take much to figure out that Esabel and Ilea were still in danger from their creator, though the totality of the danger couldn’t really be measured yet. Esabel had mentioned the danger to Ilea to him but there was no telling whether or not he’d understood it. Then again, his focus was on Esabel more than her sister. He hadn’t even met her sister yet… Esabel finally pushed her plate back and simply sat watching him turn the rest of his meal into a finished one, silent for a bit until she asked something fairly predictable, “So’s what’s we gonna do after this? There may be some new prisoners that Esabel can play with, but you always get a funny look when Esabel wants to play ‘scream-and-bleed’…” she said softly, mentioning her favorite ‘game’ that a lot of people really weren’t comfortable with. ‘Scream-and-bleed’ translated to torturing someone to death. And while there were times that it was useful, like trying to get information out of someone, Esabel tended to get carried away with it. She’d once kept someone alive during that game for about a week… The prison had complained about the noise…

Into the fires of battle! Wuflric Von Shadowfang xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Wulfric finished the last tidbits of his meal and looked at her and just shook his head knowing full well where that was going. for a moment he considered if anyone would have anything useful it seemed like these days that anyone coming after he were mere throw aways expendable assets that knew just enough to go after theiir target but not enough to compromise their client, at least that was how it had been the last few times they acquired a decent catch though a few did turn up dead before questioning could be concluded which irked him a bit the more he thought about it. he remained silent for a time weighing their options he did need to talk to Lily and nalyne about the attack but what did it matter he wasn't due to show up for a while and everyone needed their rest eventually so giving them some space for the time being would do them and himself some good as then he could do some digging around and find out how they were overwhelmed so easily. Finally Wulfric grinned "i suppose playing your game would do some good right now seems we have a need for information and someone is bound to know something, though it would probably be more productive to find an information broker who would have quality information, in my travels as a mercenary few places you can go to find a good information broker and one i wouldn't consider due to the town in which this particular person resides at. so for now i'll let you indulge yourself and we'll play with a few prisoners to see what they know" Wulfric got up at this point and offered a helping hend to Esabel ignoring the fact that most of the dining hall was abuzz with people who had a strong interest in Esabel and himself and a few he was probably going to have to have a few words with to put them in their place due to the conversation they were having. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Unto the anvil of war!

Esabel took his hand and let him help her to her feet then gave him a very excited kiss, “Yays! Playtime!” she called out happily, her words making more than a few of those around them shudder in pure fear. But her words had effectively cancelled all conversation for the moment… She took Wolfe’s hand and happily pulled him out of the dining hall then on to the prison… ((Exit))
