Stryke kept his promise he'd made to himself the days previous. Once he actually was busy, and ready to be helpful for the days activities the yellow blood slipped out of the main camp moving himself off to go do a bit of reckon. As much as he enjoyed the novelty of reading, and the calm it brought him he needed more information than what had already been provided to him. Slinking around OHC was like second nature to the teen, so he kept low and quiet as he moved around.
He was more or less creeping, using old buildings and cover to keep himself out of site. Ryk didn't want to run the risk of being caught..but any details about what was going on was better than chewing on his nails all day. His daggers were close at hand should he get into any trouble, but the small troll would have preferred to keep quiet and out of sight. Assuming no one minded his coming and goings he crept onto the next location looking for something useful to do.

Skaeys Fallin - Construction (20) - Reading Blueprints
"But wouldn't your grasping fronds get in the way if you did it like that?" Skae muttered to himself as he mimed building the small contraption he'd been tasked to study. It was a little trap with sharp teeth that could expand once triggered. He thought it was used for catching barkbeasts or howlbeasts or something large and fairly annoying to deal with. He mimed getting his hand caught in the potential device and let out a soft caw.
An answering caw sounded right behind him, causing him to let out a squeak of surprise even as Taldad tossed a wing over him. "What? No! Dad I'm not sleepy! It's not even time to go to sleep yet!" His complaints fell on uncaring ears as the corvus started to croon lovingly at him.
At this point Rasali wasn't sure if being terrible at recruitment was contributing to her depression, or if her depression was contributing to her poor recruitment abilities. It was very clear there was a disconnect between Rasali and the rest of the populace. Between bouts of moping, she wracked her thinkpan for workarounds. Progress was slow, considering she wasn't sure what the problem was in the first place.
Rasali would ask someone, but she was a little afraid of the outcome. Instead, she took to watching and listening. Hopefully something one of the more experienced trolls was doing would rub off on her. ]

Ganyma stuck his head in a book and didn't take it out until he'd absorbed the whole page. His face was teal with concentration. There was so much to construction that he had no clue about! It certainly put his efforts to repair his hive to shame. Ganyma thought to himself, embarrassed, about how many rules of the construction trade he'd broken in the period he'd worked on his own hive. Strochio was no help, and seemed to revel in his struggle. No one had ever told him how backwards he'd done it. But no more!
He kept reading the page. It would take some time before he made his way through the huge manual.
Mm, again she escaped from the area, off to recruit new trolls to their cause! But this time, instead of the stellar job she had been able to manage to do the day before, she had messed up. Just like her first time. With a growl and a huff, the slid away, patience beginning to wear thin.

Kursha had been observing the city for several hours (as well as monitoring the distant explosions), when a curious figure entered his scope. A young yellowblood. That was nothing special of course, but he seemed to be moving with a kind of wary hesitance. He was... sneaking for lack of a better word. Kursha pulled the scope away, considering the troll for a moment. He could think of a couple reasons why one might be skulking about Old Hemisect, but with recent developments he was betting the yellowblood was a spy.
Whether he was a rebel or a royalist, that was hard to say though.
Kursha decided to have a bit of fun. He checked the yellowblood's position once more—it would be a shame to lose him—and then tucked the scope into a pocket. Slipping out from under his tarp, he swung himself over the side of the building. The old architecture offered plenty of handholds and his descent passed quickly and without incident. Less than a minute later, he landed in an alleyway. Taking just a moment to reorient himself, Kursha mentally traced the yellowblood's path. The troll had been several blocks north of him, heading eastward. By cutting through a couple of side-streets Kursha would be able to catch up to him no problem. He took off at a brisk jog and the Colonel silently followed overhead.
Several turns later, Kursha very nearly stumbled into his target as he zipped out of an alleyway. He managed to pull himself into the shadows just in time. Heart pounding, he waited in the shadows for a couple of beats; only long enough for the yellowblood to pass him. Kursha swept the bangs out of his face. He caught his breath. Then stepped onto the lonely street. The yellowblood's back was to him. Perfect.
“You'll look suspicious slinking around like that,” Kursha offered as he bared a grin. His eyes were lit with amusement. “Are you a spy or just another shitty looter?”
While he was certainly..okay at staying unseen, what he did hear and get the scoop on was limited. Not much to report- though, he had some juicy gossip on who that cute troll was 'seeing' from the lakeside. Very class act. Reel em in just to cut em loose. Though for her ity had been more cull. Girls were weird.
Zeffer sat quietly near the demolitions area, brows furrowed in concentration. He'd elected to learn more about constructing explosives that day, rather than actually going out into the field and helping to set them off. It would be a useful thing to know about, he figured, and so there he sat, listening to one of the older rebels show a group of them on how to prepare bombs.
Sighing, she watched the others move around effortlessly with loads of information. Darn! Feeling discouraged, the little troll left for a walk in the forest. Not far in, she began to hear odd sounds. Scritches, scratching. Curiously, she peaked and found a next to feathered flying beasts. Taking it back to the director, he only stared at her as if she had confessed to being addicted to sopor.
"Mili, why the heck did you bring back barely hatched beasts?" Taking out her pen and paper she responded quickly.
|We can train them for scouting and sending messages! I think it's important.|
The director hummed and then shook their head, "Sorry... I think it's a decent idea, but they're too little. We'll keep and raise 'em, though."

Odette laced up her slippers and prepared herself for a new day. She took on another spying mission. After what happened last time, she was incredibly nervous. But she thought to herself, hey, nervousness makes cautiousness, doesn't it?

Skaeys Fallin - Demolition 6- Salvage
The pile was....large, to say the least. Almost all of the material they'd collected ended up there and several trolls could be seems grabbing things, moving away with it, and examining them. Skae watched them for a moment or three, head tilting this way and that as he tried to figure out just what it was that they were doing. A green blood came up next to him and just watched him for a little while before snorting.
"Wiggler, what are you doing? No wait, don't answer that. You're watching them work like a thinkpan addled troll with a supor addiction who just got their latest hit. Get moving and go join them. They're trying to salvage anything from that mess that can be useful and I swear to the littlest horrorterrors and our Imperial Fishfemalebarkbeast that if I see one more useless bit of bent shiny alloy I will shove it down someones protein shoot and watch them try to s**t it out." The troll bared her teeth at him in a parody of a smile, the corner of her left eye twitching as she stared at him. "Now scram and make yourself useful."
With a terrified peep Skae did just what he'd been told and practically dived head first into the festering pile of scrap.
Stryke hadn't exactly expected anyone to actually find him, he'd been about to vanish again out of site around an alleys corner so he could dart off to a new location. Hearing footsteps, and a voice behind him he startled making a small sound of shouted surprise. His heart slammed wildly in his chest, had his worst fears been realized? The yellowblood could feel every last hair on the back of his neck raise up as he nearly leapt out of his skin, whirling around to face the other troll. The stranger didn't look that imposing..a greenblood from what he could tell based on his initial studying of the other male.
He must have looked odd sneaking around like that...especially as the other troll so bluntly stated as such. At least the bemused smile made the yellowblood laugh, rubbing the back of his neck slightly. "I guess it kinda would look weird huh.." Stryke's smile was sheepish, embarrassed even as he dropped his hands at his sides. "No, I'm no looter. Maps were missing data so I went to poke around, didn't have anything better to do." He eye'd the other curiously, tilting his head some, adding a slight shrug of his shoulders. He wasn't exactly confessing to spying, however he wasn't denying it either.
Whoever this troll was, his way of introducing himself had the yellowblood arching a brow at him. Clearly, the other had a way with words. He had no way of knowing if he was a rebel like himself..or a royalist. It was hard to tell, Old Hemisect had a lot of increased activity lately it was easy to imagine the greenblood knew he was spying.
"Who are you supposed to be by the way?" Stryke asked narrowing his gaze just a bit, hopeful the other wasn't aggressive, a hint of a smile still at the corner of his lips doing his own inquiry on the greenblood.

Rasali's work was slow-going, but at least it was going. Her watch-and-listen strategy was yielding positive results. Rasali wasn't clever enough to quickly parse out what her more successful peers were doing right off the bat, but the simple act of paying attention to others was a step in the right direction. Rasali was beginning to suspect that maybe she had been doing an awful lot of talking at the potential recruits until now... ]
Ganyma was second-guessing himself. He wasn't nearly as adept at this physical labor as he thought he would be. Perhaps he should change tactics...
It wasn't as though he wasn't capable, but he certainly didn't cut the figure of a strategist. Or a planner. Or a leader, in fact! Was he deceiving himself? Ganyma was vexed. He furiously put a piece of lumber in its place and kicked at the dirt in frustration. It was time to switch gears.
