◽◾Lysander Sage◾◽ ⭐⭐⭐ Lysander noticed that this portal was different from the heaven and hell portals. So Freya could make portals leading to different places on earth that was pretty cool. He stood infront of the portal hesitant to go in. He wasn't sure if he was actually ready for this. He heard Freya call out to him and with a deep breath he stepped into the portal and caught up with her quickly. He stopped when she told him to. It was probably a good idea to listen to the reaper so he didn't wind up dying. He watched her take a perfectly normal man and force him into a portal but as soon as he went into the barrier he turned into a demon. "Demon's aren't very patient arethey? He called out to her from the spot he was standing in. He looked around the building and he sighed. He couldn't believe that all these people were going to die. He didn't know if he was ready to actually see someone die. He wasn't afraid if dying in the fire because he was pretty sure Freya wouldn't let him. His soul ached for all the people about to lose their lives and their families who were about to lose loved ones. " We can't save any of them. What's destined to happen is going to happen and we can't help them stay alive." Lysander said quietly more to himself then Freya. He was trying to make sense of the situation. In less then a minute so many lives were going to end abruptly.

Freya looked over to him when he talked about demons "They harbor any and every negative traits you can think of" she told him as she looked up to the sky. She had grown used to these deaths, she had to or else she wouldn't be able to do this job. However, his next sentence caught her off guard. Could he really handle these deaths? He was already having trouble and it hadn't even happened yet, maybe she shouldn't have taken him. She let out a small sigh, she wasn't really going to pay him any mind except for the first part he had said "You can't interfere, Lysander, where there is death there will always be death. It's their time to go when it is time" she told him plainly as she looked over to him "Those people are destined to die today, if they somehow survive it's not like they get to continue their life for years, I am suppose to reclaim their soul so they may die the day or week, sometimes even a month after their initial death day".
She heard the machines being turned on as they finally hit the building, the screams echoed through the air as she looked over for a few seconds. Freya leaned against the wall as she waited for the first spirits to appear, once they did she walked out and walked over to them, she opened a rather large portal for all the people "Please, step through here and you'll be going to heaven, i'm sorry to say that you are dead but your loved ones will be on the other side waiting for you" she said plainly, scanning her eyes around to make sure all the spirits were there and not being led astray by some demon who may had came too. Death was in the air still but it was because of those spirits

◽◾Lysander Sage◾◽ ⭐⭐⭐ "I know. You have to get their souls no matter what." Lysander said quietly with a resigned sigh. What Freya was saying to him made sense and he was going to need to toughen up and be able to deal with this. Death happened and instead of being upset he needed to focus on bringing these souls peace. He braced himself when the machines began to turn and watched Freya open up the portal and speak to all the spirits. He was once again slightly awed my her professionalism and how calm she was. He decided he needed to follow in her footsteps. Lysander saw one of the spirits whobwas a crying woman refused to step into the portal. She was crying about not wanting to leave her children behind.Lysander walked up to her and gave her a sympathetic smile. "I know this wouhard but you should step into the portal. Don't you want your kids to know that they're mother's soul is at peace.?" He said gently knowing he sounded kind of corny. But it seemed to do the trick because the woman stopped crying and asked him to tell her kids that she was sorry and that she lived him. He smiled and told her he would do that but he didn't exactly think he would be able to. The woman smiled at him and stepped through the portal.

Freya watched over the souls as best as she could as she sent them all through. She let out a small sigh of relief when everyone was sent through, she was glad no demons had been able to get back over there so quickly. Freya closed the rip as she walked back to the alleyway and kicked some cardboard boxes away to reveal the book. She opened it up as she frowned slightly, seeing a last minute death that she needed to get in a few minutes. They were slightly bittersweet, she hated having to rush so fast to get them but it was usually decided to either stop the pain that the being was in or to stop the pain they were inflicting. What caught her attention was the area, she frowned slightly as she stared down. A hospital, she hated hospitals the most. Those spirits who were there for a long time sometimes had the hope they would survive or it came as too much of a shock for them.
Freya closed the book and placed it under a box before she kicked it over to make sure the book was indeed gone. It was. She let out a small sigh as she pulled out her scythe and cut a rip "Come on kid, there's one more stop we need to make she muttered as she stepped through, it was in the middle of the night where she was now, however it wasn't dark because they were standing in front of a hospital. Freya crossed her arms as she looked up, she usually didn't like actually going in, too many people were close to death that sometimes they could see if even if she was invisible. If she is visible then she can never get into the areas she needed to be in. "Stay out here okay? I'll come back in a few minutes or so" she told him as she crossed her arms, waiting on him to agree before she left.

◽◾Lysander Sage◾◽ ⭐⭐⭐ Lysander was relieved when all the souls went though the portal. He watched Freya pull out the book and sigh. He wondered why she had sighed. He was just happy that they had finished up here and he stepped through the portal with Freya. "Hey don't call me kid." He told her once they reached the other side she had kept calling him that all day it was kind of weird. He knew that she was older than him but she didn't look like it and it was getting on his nerves Lysander looked up at the hospital they were standing in front of. "Okay if you don't need me I'll wait here." Lysander agrred readily more than happy to wait outside. He hated hospitals and if he didn't have to go into one he was happy and relieved.

Freya smirked at him when he told her to stop "Why? I mean you aren't eighteen yet are you right? You're still a kid technically" she told him as she walked inside, her scythe disappearing as she turned invisible and walked in. She walked past the nurses who didn't see her and went to the right floor on the first try. Freya let out a small sigh as she walked into the children's ward. She kept her human appearance as she walked through looking at the numbers before she finally found the right one. Freya walked in, her face calm as she walked to a bed of the sickly child. She let out a small sigh as she counted down the seconds. A small little girl's spirit sat up and immediately started to cry, Freya picked up the toddler and softly shushed her as she rubbed her back. This wasn't the first time she ever dealt with a child and it certainly wasn't going to be the last. Hearing when they asked why their parent wasn't there was the worst.
Freya held the little girl, the only times she had ever seen Johnathan ever become human was when it involved children. It wasn't exactly easy to deal with a child who didn't understand what had happened much less when you were showing only bones. She slowly carried the girl downstairs, whom by the time had slowly stopped crying "Shh, it's okay, shh..." she murmured as she finally made her way outside with the little girl calm. She'll let the angels explain to this one what had happened. Freya slowly took out a small version of her scythe once she was outside, she shot a glance to Lysander, the girl's head was resting on her shoulder and playing with Freya's hair. She held a finger up to her lips, she didn't want this little girl crying like earlier. Freya cut down a small rip, halfway down only. Freya kept on saying soothing words in small whispers as she pulled the girl away from her and held the girl out, another set of arms took the girl before the little girl smiled and waved goodbye.
The grim reaper closed the portal as she ran her hand through her hair, pushing it back to where it had originally been before the little girl had been playing with it. Freya opened up portal back to his room before she stepped through and laid down on his bed, the portal closed as soon as he got inside. She faced the ceiling as she closed her eyes "Get to sleep, you're gonna need to wake up early for another reaping, I want you to point out other spirits to me....kid" she smirked as she said the last part just to annoy him. Her scythe disappeared as she cracked her knuckles.

◽◾Lysander Sage◾◽ ⭐⭐⭐ Lysander had pulled a pair of ear buds out of his pockets and plugged it into his phone listening to music as he waited for Freya. Wile holding his phone in his hands it began to vibrate to infirm him he had a text message. Only one person texted him and that was his mother. The text asked him where he was because she had come up to his room and found it empty. He quickly texted back that he had walked Freya home and that he'd be back soon so she should just go to asleep. That answer seemed to sedate his mother for the moment. He looked up at the sky still listening to his music waiting for Freya. She came back after about ten minutes. Lysander took out his ear buds and was about to speak to her when he noticed she was carrying a little girl. He looked sadly at the little girl and shook his head. She was so young it wasn't fair. It was interesting to see how Freya gently handled the little girl. It was a side of her he hadn't seen yet. Lysander smiled sadly at the little girl. He followed Freya into the portal as he was beginning to get used to following her through portals. He didn't say anything about the little girl. Once in his room he watched Freya lie on his bed. "Would you stop calling me that." He said frustrated knowing she only said it to annoy him. He wasn't surn how Great had winded up sleeping on his bed. He briefly wondered how he was going to explain this to his mother but she never entered his room without knocking and Freya could make herself invisible if need be. With a yawn he walked out of his room grabbing pajama bottoms and a T-shirt. He brushed his teeth and changed into his plaid pajama bottoms and black T-shirt. He went to the hall closet and pulled out a sleeping bag his mother had bought him for their yearly scheduled camping trips. Back in his room he put his clothes away and spread the sleeping bag on the ground. He laid down on the sleeping bag and zipped himself inn. He was so tired and he fell asleep instantly. It had been a tiring day and he knew he had many more of these days ahead of him.

Experiment_number_626 [/quot Freya smirked as she heard him "Hmm...Nope, sorry kid". She leaned on her side to look over at him in the sleeping bag. She watched him in the sleeping bag "Goodnight..kid" she murmured as she laid back down in his bed wondering why he hadn't just kicked her out of it or something. It's been a while since she laid in a bed, it was comfortable. Freya let out a small sigh of relief before she sat up and looked outside the window as she let out a soft sigh "Five minutes, give me five minutes to my own thoughts you damn demons..." she murmured as she opened up a portal and went through quietly so she wouldn't wake up Lysander.
She looked around as she just smelled the death in the air. Freya's scythe appeared as she looked around "We can do this the easy way or the hard wayshe was invisible right now as she waited a few seconds before she sighed and grabbed the demon once she found him. She opened up the portal to hell and threw him down before she closed..and realized that the smell of death was still in the air. A small yelp erupted from her when she felt a kick to her rib cage. The rib cage wasn't the worst part about it, in fact she didn't care about that part. The thing that truly got under her skin was when he reached to separate her from her scythe. "No! she growled out though another demon came, why hadn't she been able to tell there were more. With the second holding her back, they managed to finally get the scythe away from her death grip. "You damn demons should know better than-" her eyes widened when the demon threw the scythe, far, far away. Her eyes widened as she froze up.
Freya shook her head as she ran after it though it easily went too far away. Her eyes widened as she fell to her knees, this was a rookie's mistake, it shouldn't be happening. Damn demon's with their strength. As soon as the scythe was out of her general area, she gasped. The demons laughed and disappeared before she stared in the area. She couldn't see where her scythe had gone, all it had gone was far. Without her scythe, she couldn't open portals to any where, she didn't have her powers any more. She was simply an immortal human girl. Soon enough, that may fade too. If she can't reap souls, then only the demons would get them until she was able to find her scythe, which of course was still invisible. At least some human won't pick it up. Freya couldn't even contact heaven or Johnathan to look for it. "Dammit! she yelled out as she started to shiver, she knew her body was always cold, it couldn't keep any temperature, but this time she actually felt it. She stood up and immediately went in the direction of where her scythe had flown when she had seen it, she needed to find it fast. However, the only way she would actually would be blindly, she would literally have to touch it with her body in some way.
Freya came back in the morning, her entire appearance was dirty, her hair was disheveled, and god, how she realized that food was very needed. It was a mistake, it shouldn't have happened, why wasn't she more prepared? Dammit, this was going to set her back hugely. A thought occurred to her, Lysander had seen her scythe before, could he see it again? Freya went inside of the house by basically going up and crawling through the window. She was always nimble and able to climb things even when she was human. Freya started to nudge Lysander as she tried to wake him up.

◽◾Lysander Sage◾◽ ⭐⭐⭐ "Goodnight Freya." Lysander murmured with a smile. It didn't bother him that she had called him kid he was getting used to it. He was getting used to Freya he had only been with her for a day but he knew she intended to keep him around for awhile and that thought didn't scare him like it did earlier this day. He hadn't kicked her out of his bed because he wasn't the kind of person who would make another person sleep on the floor. Lysander didn't even think reaper's needed sleep but he hadn't thought twice about bequeathing his bed to Freya. Besides he was so tired the sleeping bag felt like heaven. Lysander felt something nudging him but he closed his eyes even tighter and groaned. "Give me five more minutes mother." He muttered but the nudging wouldn't stop with a groan he opened his eyes and found himself looking up at Freya instead of his mother. It took him a second to take in her disheveled appearance. He quickly sat up and looked at her with worry in his dark eyes. "Freya what happened to you? Are you okay?" Lysander asked her wondering what on earth had happened to her while he had been asleep.

Freya shook her head do as soon as he asked about her "No, i'm not" she spoke as she dropped her head into her hands as she shook her head "There were some damn demons outside so I went downstairs to throw them back, I got one demon but there was two more and they threw my scythe...Lysander, i'm powerless without my scythe. I mean, it can't be used by anyone else aside from me but that means that no souls will be reaped, those demons will take any souls they can get". She said out loud as she ran a hand through her hair "I've been looking for it this entire time but it's just like those other spirits, i'm blind. I'm basically like a damn mortal" she spoke as she stood up and walked over to the door, pointing in the direction of where it had been thrown "I can't do anything without my scythe..." she murmured once again as she rubbed her eyes. Was sleep that much needed as a human? She couldn't even remember. Freya shivered again as she rubbed her eyes, "I-I need to go look again..." she murmured as she looked back to him.

◽◾Lysander Sage◾◽ ⭐⭐⭐ "Freya it's going to be okay. If you're blind to it then that means I can see it. We'll find i." Said Lysander getting up from his sleeping bag trying to stay calm for Freya. He could see the loss of her Scythe was getting to her. So she turned mortal without the Scythe huh. He noticed her shiver and he went to his closet and pulled out a large zip up hoodie and placed it over her shoulders. The sweater was big on Lysander but it completely swallowed Freya. "Freya you're shivering keep the sweater on it'll keep you warm until we find your Scythe. You said you're mortal now and you haven't slept all night go back to my bed and sleep Freya. There is no point of going to look for your scythe if you're going to collapse of exhaustion. Please Freya just listen to me and let me help you." Said Lysander. He was wrecked with worry about Freya without her scythe she couldn't reps souls she'd be human and Lysander had a feeling ng that was something she did not want. He needed to help her keep it together as a human for just a little bit until he found her scythe.

Freya rubbed at her eyes as she looked over to him. She looked down at the sleeves of his hoodie before she looked back up at him confused before he started to talk. She shook her head no as she looked over to her window "I just...need to find my scythe" she brought the large sleeves that obviously consumed her hands over her cheek, it gave her warmth just like his hand though it wasn't exactly the same as when he held her hand. "I want to go with you, god knows where the hell those demons are..." she murmured as she walked over to the door, stumbling slightly as a noise came which confused her. What the hell was that noise? She looked down as she realized what it was. Her stomach. God, she was really that hungry? She kept her face away from his as she wiped at her cheek. She didn't have time, if she dealt with this then she'll just deal with it until she got her scythe "Nothing matters, I won't need to sleep if I get my scythe.." she murmured as she started to open the door to walk downstairs and go outside.

◽◾Lysander Sage◾◽ ⭐⭐⭐ Lysander sighed in frustration and shook his head at her. Damn stubborn grim reaper was going to be the death of him. Come to think if it she literally would be the death of him. "If you insist." Lysander muttered behind her as she walked to his door. He heard her stomach grumble and he smacked his hand to his face. Great she was going to starve and sleep deprive herself. Ignoring the fact that he was still in his pajamas he out on a pair of shoes and headed after her. He made a quick stop in the kitchen and grabbed some packaged granola bars a bagel and a bottle of water. He met Freya outside and pressed the bagel that he had hurriedly slathered with some cream cheese and one of the granola bars I to her hands. "Okay eat these they should at least help with the hunger for now until we find your Scythe." Said Lysander not knowing why he cared so much about her mortal health state. He just had a strong urge to protect and help her because right now she was just a mortal girl as much as she would hate to admit it.

Freya walked downstairs and headed straight for the door so they could leave. She walked outside before she looked back and realized he wasn't behind her. Great, they hadn't even left the house yet she already lost him. She looked down at the bagel in her hands...what was this? She took a small bite out of it before her eyes widened at the taste. What was this? Had food really changed that much since she's been dead? Freya however, pushed away her thoughts about the food so she could find her scythe and give those damn demons a piece of her mind. She hated being this blind, she basically was going to have to follow Lysander like a new girl though last night wasn't any better, she was basically on her hands and knees or just walking and making sure to spread her feet all over the place in an attempt to feel for it. She had been like a girl looking for her glasses.
Freya finished the bagel before she tried to open the bar. She opened it up before her eyes widened and she tripped on the ground. She fell hard as she closed her eyes tightly when she felt something strange on her knee. Freya sat and looked down at her knee, she cut it on some sharp rocks that were on the ground, her stocking was torn as well. Freya stared down at it, it was bleeding slightly but she simply gritted her teeth and stood up getting ready to walk again, if it hadn't been for the fact that they were already dead, she would kill those damn demons.
