Kick after kick connected with Blackjack's chest, each one shocking the champion into a stupor. Finally AJ stopped the assault in order to pin Blackjack. Blackjack's pain had focused him back into the match, if it hadn't drained him.
One...
Two...
The audience let out a collective groan as Blackjack kicked out at two, saving championship for that much longer.

Warner, unlike the fans who unanimously wanted to see Blackjack lose, did not let out a groan of any distress. It was almost rewarding knowing that he had time to kick the crap out of the dispicable champion even more. AJ went to lift his opponent in the typical fashion: grabbing the chain inches away from Blackjack's collar. As a grappler first and brawler second, the Shooter looked to tee off any free shots he could get on the champ's ribcage.

Blackjack was sick of getting kicked at this point. So when he was tugged back up to his knees for AJ to kick, Blackjack grabbed for the leg trying to catch it against his chest. Then, with a roar of rage, Blackjack would try to shove back against AJ in an effort to shove him off his feet with a takedown.

Getting shoved back down to the mat would have been mundane if it hadn't been for Blackjack's fierceness and the positioning of the chain behind AJ. His spine hit the metal links hard, and if anything, it gave his rival a few more seconds to gather himself and possibly take control of this match if the adrenalin kicked in at the right time.

AJ landing on the chain was fortuitous, still, having the s**t kicked out of him was draining. It would be several moments before Blacksmith started rousing to get back up on his feet, he was struggling to clear the cobwebs from hitting his head on the turnbuckle earlier.

After a few seconds of gathering himself, AJ knew he couldn't give Blackjack time to pick himself up and take control for the time being; at any given moment, tied together by a dog collar in a steel cage without a door, Warner knew he could lose an ear or a lung or his life if the champion had his way. So AJ, insisting he keep attacking the torso of Blackjack, went to turn towards the champ and chop his opponent's chest with the palm of his hand, assuming he had the opportunity to even attempt one.

The chop connected with Blackjack's chest while the champion was getting back to his feet, causing him to drop back to his knees. Blackjack growled and climbed up to get one foot under him while throwing a punch up at AJ's jaw.

Had it not been for the adrenalin, AJ might have lost his footing after he got socked right in the jaw by a frustrated Blackjack. An unaddressed theme about the tale of the tape was that the Suplex Shooter was pretty pissed off, too. In his eyes, Blackjack stole something that belonged to him and wore it in the most ugly fashion he had seen. After taking a step back from the impact of the psychopath's fist hitting his face, Warner turned his hips towards the champ and went for a stiff forearm to his ugly mutt.

After his stand up punch connected, Blackjack was able to get back to his feet. He stood up and prepared to strike at AJ, but he'd recovered enough to hit Blackjack with a clubbing blow. The strike connected and staggered Blackjack back a step. His growl turned into a grin, it seemed like AJ wanted to trade blows with the champion. Blackjack was happy to play along, and he stepped back up to AJ and aimed another hard hook for AJ's face.

That microscopic white thing flying out of the ring? One of AJ's teeth, one that was in the position of a vampire's fangs. Warner was rocked, the strike hitting his tooth out of the park like a homerun by Barry Bonds himself; it was later rumored to have landed in a fan's beer. For being such a nimble wrestler, Blackjack seemed to have mastered his craft at bare-knuckle boxing. After falling all the way back to the ropes, he approached his nemesis at the same pace, looking to hit him with another forearm smash to the face. It was noted that with every blow exchanged, the crowd shouted "yay" for AJ's shots and booed immensely for any punches landed by his antagonist.

Blackjack was struck by another hard blow to his face, knocking him back down to a knee. Blackjack was furious that AJ had managed to knock him off of his own feet. Blackjack rose up again, this time aiming to catch AJ off guard with a neck wrenching uppercut. If it connected, Blackjack would move in to try and lift AJ up and slam him down with a sloppy spinebuster!

Embarassingly enough, AJ would have fallen flat on his a** from the devastating blow. The uppercut made the Suplex Shooter feel like a Rock'em Sock'em Robot; he imagined his neck shot up six feet in the air until his feet left the ground. What the ******** was this? Blackjack lifting Warner in the air for a spinebuster or an atomic drop? The fact that AJ had to guess was a testament to Blackjack's inability to wrestle at the veteran's level. The challenger wrapped his arm around Blackjack's head and pushed his feet off of the top of the champion's knees to elevate himself. Warner would look to counter the ugly spinebuster with an impressive DDT.

Blackjack was unable to do anything to save himself. He knew he'd screwed up the moment AJ grabbed him around the neck. Before he could do anything about it, he was being thrown forward to send him crashing into the mat head first. Blackjack crashed, and flopped over with his arms draped over his aching head. The audience left their seats to cheer for the phenomenal counter.

The loud pop had made AJ feel more and more confident, as if he was only minutes away from overcoming a seven-year story of adversity. He stood up immediately and, unlike himself, pandered to the crowd's mutual enthusiasm by balling his fists and screaming out of euphoria. Anxiousness. The fact that the world champion after this match could be a nearly 38-year-old man was incredibly surreal to the Suplex Shooter. The audience's vocal affection would only increase after their beloved hero turned to Andrew Styles and grabbed his crotch momentarily. Beneath their cheers, AJ's lips had read, "Who's your daddy now, you stupid piece of s**t?!" It wasn't long afterwards that Warner would turn his focus back to the champion. The Shooter signaled for Blackjack to rise, and the moment he was to a knee, AJ would look to hit a throwback signature of his with the Shining Wizard.

His head was throbbing, which made getting back to his feet painfully slow. The world was spinning after such and impact and he was having trouble focusing on where he was let alone targeting AJ. Blackjack was in a dire predicament at the moment, still the champion knew he was in danger if he continued to lay on the mat like a blow-up doll. So he pushed his way up to his feet, trying to drown out the cheers of the audience. The noise wasn't helping the pounding in his head.
Blackjack was up to a knee when he saw it, AJ was coming in fast. instinctually Blackjack knew this was bad; but his head was too muddled to do anything about it. WHAM AJ's kick connected, and Blackjack straightened up for a moment. Then the champion crumpled forward onto the mat.
