Being blinded was terrifying. Zarith's heart was beating so hard right now. But this girl was soft speaking, and seemed genuinely caring. His ghostlights were calm and simply hovered peacefully around him. He felt something move under his head, lifting it up, and something touched his lips. At first he hesitated, but as she urged him to drink, he took a cautious swallow. "My..eyes...he hurt them..." He murmured after licking the liquid from his lips.

:: She'd smile as he drank the liquid, lowering him down to the ground gently... The ghost lights were so pretty.... she'd never seen anything like them but she didn't have time to appreciate them because she was so concerned with the Demi.... She realized that she didn't even know his name yet... but he was telling her something... "I've put a poultice over both of your eyes, it has regenerative properties... it speeds up a Pockettu's natural ablitity to heal quickly, since your a Deim-god, it should work even quicker..." she look at his other wounds, seeing that they were closing, knitting back together as a faster rate... "try opening your eyes and letting it seep in.... I'm sorry, I don't even know your name, you were such a terrible mess, I was too busy trying to help you to ask." ::

Zarith balked at opening his eyes. He was afraid of the pain. Afraid of the damage that would be revealed. But the girls' advice was sound. He needed the medicine in the wound. Zarith was prepared for it to sting like salt. Still, with his lashes fluttering, he managed to open them enough to get some of to poultice to seep in. "I..I am Zarith." He said in a tight voice. "I..I failed so utterly. I am not a good Guardian at all. Maybe I should have stayed behind. I can't help my Lords image like this."

:: Zariara was pleased that the Demi did as she'd asked... her lips curling into a light smile as she'd take out a long roll of clean gauze, "I need to wrap your eyes now, so I'll be lifting your head a lot, then we'll sit you up..." she wanted to make certain that the poultice would stay over his eyes... the pain potion that he'd been given earlier worked well, so the sting from the poultice on his eyes was very minor, dull in respect to what it could have been... she'd start to wind the gauze carefully around his head... lifting and settling him back down until she was sure that it was all held in place... "Zarith... do not give up so easily. We were taken unawares and well, to be honest... it does not look good so far, but I am sure that soon, we will all pull together and the fight will turn, My Grandfather will come up with something I'm sure... We didn't even have time to realize that we were at war before we were injured or helping someone like I am in some way." She'd look around him, the bobbing ghost lights casting their glow over the pools of blood that were everywhere around him, "It looks like you did, whoever did this to you, nearly as much harm as he or she did to you, this is far too much blood for just you to have let..." she'd help him sit up... then stand slowly... her arm about him as she'd guide him into the camp to the healers tent. "You're keeping us safe, at cost to you... Thank you for that..." she'd give his hand a slight squeeze as she'd have him in one of the larger cots now, fussing over his bandages one more time, "try to get some sleep, in a couple hours, when all feeling of pain fades, you can wash your face, there is a basin with clean water right next to you... here.." she'd guide his hand too the basin of water to his right. "If you need help, don't be afraid to ask and you can call for me if you need to, I have faith in my work, so you will see me. I have long pale blue and purple hair, l'm dressed in black and purple... and oh, I have wolf paws for feet, I don't think you'll miss that" she'd give a light laugh and cover him up with the blanket on the cot. "Try to get some rest now" ::

Zarith did his best not to impede the girls tending of his wounds. He felt her wrapping up his eyes, and he prayed silently that they would recover. He was so afraid they would turn out permanently damaged. What would he do if he couldn't see properly? How could he do his job? Would his Lord even think he was precious anymore? Zarith kept his fears to himself as he let the girl try and cheer him up. His blue lips curled slightly into a smile. "Thank you Zariara." He murmured in gratitude when he finally felt the cot under him. He stretched out on the cot as his wings vanished from his back. he touched the basin with Zariara's help, then nodded his head slightly. "Thank you again. I... I will thank you more properly after I recover. Good eve Zariara." He said as he assumed she was on her way out to help someone else, and he truly needed to rest.
