HP: 10 :: He wasn't moving nearly as fast as before, she went down into a crouch and then roll out of the way of that tail of his, only taking a slight sting from one of the tentacles before she launched herself at him, blade held to the front as she'd take hold of his shoulder and thrust the blade towards his chest, looking him right in the eye... She knew he was nearing his end and by all that was in Her domain, she bloody well wanted to see it! ::

HP: 1 Too slow, and she was too quick. Antarmur'ss twisted about when the Warrior grabbed him. Her blade very well nearly did skewer him though, but he proved to still be flexible enough to bend himself out of the way of being stabbed clean through. He was tired and drained. He felt pain burning through him like the light of the sun upon his inner darkness. Antarmur'ss flailed his tail up at Warriors face in an attempt to just slap her.

HP: 6 :: She was too busy looking into his eyes, seeing the strength in them fade to notice the tail lashing towards her, with a satisfying -crack- it sent her head snapping to the side... opening her mouth wide and rotating her jaw, there was a loud pop as it clicked back into line... tilting her head back towards him, crimson meeting violet eyes... A sheath for her weapon appearing on her back as she'd slide the blade home, never taking her eyes off him... "Prepare yourself Antarmur'ss.... that was highly disappointing... " licking a bit of blood off her hand... she'd take a step away from him, "Go, mend with your little bug... you've both been properly squashed...." with her final word she lash out at him, striking him across the face with the back of her hand. Watching him fall, she'd give a snort and turn on her heel and walk away from him. ::

Antarmur'ss glowered defiantly at Warrior, but had no strength to fling back a retort. Her hand cracked across his face with no more force then was necessary to send him topping backwards. Antarmur'ss did not fall to the ground though. He fell through it, a puff of dust wafted up as he fell through the shadows, so he could simply appear in his tent and fell upon his cot in a wordless torn mess.

 Lina watched her first patient collapse into the cot before skipping out of the healers tent. She was in a good mood she got to see the battlefield and those wonderful injuries. Oh, and she got to help someone get better so they could go kick more cursed butt. As she strolled bubbly through the camp she passed by her lord's tent as he fell out of the shadows and onto the mostly visible cot. Instantly her face flooded with a mixture of fear and concern. Clutching her black bag of equipment she moved quickly inside his humble tent and to the side of the glorious, yet mangled side of her god. As she looked him over she was on the verge of tears. How dare someone do this to him. She needed to be strong and practice what she had studied, uncharacteristically, in order to impress the one that now lay before her. She set her bag on the floor and pulled out a ton of gauze and began to try and stop all the bleeding.

Here within his tent, a place that he could consider generally safe, Antarmur'ss released his hold on his power. Even as Lina began her distressed preparations, the shadow bandages that Antar had wrapped himself in so he could continue fighting melted away. Each revealing deeper and more damaging wounds. His left knee hung at a broken awkward angle as the last of his bandages vanished in his weakened state. Antarmur'ss eyes remained closed as he bled heavily into the cot beneath him.

As the bandages fell away and the bleeding became more profuse Lina, for once, didn't admire the morbid sight before her. Rather she could barely stop from panicking. He was shredded badly and his knee/leg looked to be broken. The normally bright and bubbly girl put on a serious face and tried to remember all the things she had studied. First she had to stop the bleeding, then she could worry about the rest. Taking a deep breath she began to hum softly to keep herself focused. She wiped, soaked, and finally wrapped gauze tightly around each of the vast number of worse injuries. The bleeding had slowed but it still slowly seeped through the white linens. She paused and went silent for a moment as she looked up at the face of her lord, her eyes glittering with sorrow.

Antarmurss did not so much as flinch as Lina tended to his wounds. despite the severity of them he breathed evenly. even if now and then blood dribbled from his lips. As Lina stood back tto look upon him and her work his head shifted. "Syn?" He whispered softly. Antar could not lift his head or hands at the moment, but his tail curled as it sought to brush against the one tending him.

Lina had got most the bleeding under control now and was about to move on to look at his knee when the god of darkness shifted his head and whispered softly.Lina smiled, happy that he was talking. According to her books this was a good thing. A light giggle escaped her in both relief and natural response to the spoken name. "Its Lina, silly." She spoke bubbly as his tail brushed her. Looking from his face and down to his battered body part of her brightness dimmed to make way for the more focused side she had aquired for the handsome one. She focused on the knee injury, pulling out two flat planks and linen wrap she carefully aligned the wood on either side of the leg before carefully, but tightly wrap the linen around it to hold it in place so it could heal properly.

When he heard the bubbly giggle and voice answer him, his pain weary mind recognized the strange little female he had spoken to what seemed so long ago. "I promised you." He murmured in a faint voice as Lina tended to his knee. Antarmur'ss made a effort to lift his nearest hand so he could gesture at Lina. "In the city. I made a promise..." He rasped again.

Lina finished with the brace for the handsome one's busted knee before she turned her bright pale green eyes away. At his slight motion she moved towards the head of the cot and looked into his purple eyes. Hers took on a glimmer of both concern for him and happiness that he hadn't forgotten her or the promise. Though she was more concerned about his current state than the thing she had learned about healing for. However she couldn't hold back her anticipation for what he might be about to say. She said nothing and waited for him to finish.

Antarmur'ss eyes were open only briefly. The purple orbs were so dim and dark they were nearly black. he blinked at Lina before closing his eyes and allowing his hand to fall limp. "After they are gone." He breathed softly. His tail laid limp on the ground as the urge to simply sleep pressed down so hard on him. "Come to me....after they are gone."

Lina smiled briefly at his words unable to completely suppress her emotions. A giggle escaped the happy dark one as she began to hum as she finished tending to his wounds. The last thing she did was place a cooling pad on the handsome one's forehead before leaving him to rest and heal.

For the rest of the tending, Antarmur'ss laid as if dead on the cot. His awareness of Lina's presence rose and faded as his pain and exhaustion muddled his thoughts. Twisting them into half memories of the last one he had allowed to tend him in his weakest moments. When finally she left, Antarmur'ss allowed slumber to fully claim him.
