He watched her silently for a few moments, feeling that it would have been quite redundant to confirm her revelation with a nod or phrase of his own.
Applying her comment to himself, he thought... no, he did not 'not know,' he knew that he could not be 'vicious'. Hurt, feeling betrayed, lost in seemingly endless self-examination prompted by some feeling of inferiority, caught so long in the cycle that when he surfaced his mind didn't know how to simply relax... these things, he had been. But never hateful, never violent.
Oh, he'd torn into his own mind willingly enough, but never- never- that of another.

Brought back to the present by her smile and nod, he returned both in kind, his smile holding a touch more warmth than it had previously at her confirmation.
'... to call again here...' '... two days time'...
An invitation, freely given, and a time frame lest he waiver over popping in unannounced. She made it so ... easy... to feel welcome. "It would be a pleasure."
Even that, he would not claim entirely for himself. He hoped, in truth, that she would be truly pleased as well.
Melting away into the shadows, he called back one last time "It has been a pleasure, Radha, and I hope the rest of your night fairs as well; I look forward to seeing you soon."
