The insistent push of the Cursed Army has once again forced the followers of Antarmur'ss and Lukarius back further into the deeper descents of the Umbra Roads. One step closer to his city, Antarmur'ss disposition has taken a dark and dangerous turn.
At times the Dark god can be glimpsed pacing within his tent. The shadows within coiling and rolling about like a heavy fog on a lake within the confines of the tent. His scribe and librarian Rillian often scampers behind him, jotting down notes muttered in a low tone from Antar into a notepad.
"This is unacceptable. To have the Cursed venture so deep within my territory is a grievous infraction. I want them out of my tunnels. I will not abide hearing that my children are being carried off as prisoners. I demand that my followers do better. The cursed are little better then a rabid infection and I shall not tolerate their continued advancement! Issue a warning! My disfavor shall be earned for any follower who loses more battles then they have victories! I will punish those who fail to prove their faith and loyalty to me!"
*** WARNING! Antarmur'ss will Curse any follower of his that ends this battle week with less victories vs. their own losses. This is not against their total wins/defeats tally. Just on battles that occur this week.***

Ling glided down and landed with his prize, Diesel, before the cages for prisoners. His antenna fluttered about as he rather maliciously tossed the battered and bleeding cursed into a cage. Hoping that extra damage was caused by having been so roughly handled. Slamming and locking the door he made sure that there was a guardian stationed before loosing a low, warning type growl and flying off to tend to his wounds. He had a particular dislike of this cursed and would most definitely not be happy to see him rescued, but it was not his job the guard the prisoner. Though he did hope that his capture would help his father darkness's mood at least slightly.

Antarmur'ss, accompanied by Rillian carrying a tome as large as he was, approached a outcropping of stone within the center of the camp. The Darkness God stepped up onto it, and stood there in silence for a moment. In his battle armor, he made no movements as he gathered his thoughts. This of course allowed other pockettu to gather around to hear what he might say.
"To start, I would like to thank the efforts of the mercenaries whom have come to my aid." Antarmur'ss inclined his head slightly as he used the pause to search the crowd. "I would also like to thank my son Ling for proving so capable in capturing one of the cursed warriors. I'm very impressed by your efforts. I know that you will make the cursed pay for what they have taken from you during this war."
Inhaling slightly, he held his breath for a count of two before he released it and carried on. "It has been brought to my attention that I have been rash. My frustration over the term of this war, the toll it is taking upon my family, as well as my followers has gotten the better of me. It is not often that a God will admit that they have failings and faults." Antarmur'ss spread his hands slightly as he peered about. "It was unfair of me to lay such a threat upon you all, whom I do know are fighting as hard as you can. So I hope you will all forgive me for my decree. Instead, I rescind this erroneous mandate. A wise woman has given me guidance that I would be twice a fool to ignore. So let it be known instead, that any of my followers that bring for me three victories within this battle week, and the next, will be rewarded with a small boon of my favor. Any who bring me five shall be rewarded with a greater gift, and any who manifest for me nine victories shall be rewarded with the utmost that my power can permit." Antarmur'ss tilted his head and made a small gesture with one of his hands. "In addition to this, despite the threat that loomed over them I would like to acknowledge Ling and Yasz'Ryn for seeking out battles on their own. Come to me when the matter of this war is settled and I shall grant you both a gift suitable to your bravery."
There was another small pause as the Darkness god looked away. His eyes flickered over them as if judging the mood of the crowd. "There is one more matter that I wish to discuss with you all. The cursed have pushed us hard, and I have realized that I..am not as strong as I had been in the second war. My heart is not focused on this effort, and I know what the great difference is between this war and that." He tilted his head some and gave a little soft sigh. "I am a God who has made mistakes. The greatest perhaps has been allowing the treachery of the cursed to create a divide between myself and Synraehl. I never stopped to consider that their attack could have been so intelligently designed to deny me one of my greatest strengths. It is her guidance that has led me to see where I have erred, it is her wisdom I need to take back this war from the cursed. So... I wish to announce that Synraehl shall be joining us in our efforts. Where other Gods have abandoned us, she stands ready to aid us regardless of what lowly manner I may have asked her to fulfill." His hands lifted in the air and he made a small gesture before him as if to dismiss the mere notion of Syn in the position of something 'lowly'. "Her followers will be allowed to rejoin us in this effort..and after..well...further discussions will need be held at a later time. For now I wish to let you all know that I admit to allowing my blind hatred to manipulate me to the cursed designs. If any have questions or doubts I will allow them to be heard in the privacy of my tent. Come speak with me if you feel the need." The Darkness god pauses on the stone, then without his usual flourish he turns about and strides off to his tent to rest until his next battle.

With great reluctance. With great dismay. The camp of Antarmur'ss has been forced back to the final descent level. Instead of a campsite from which to attack and defend, the army gathered by Antarmur'ss now takes refuge within the walls of his dark city. His defenders now fight to hold the wall and keep the invading army from entering the city that is home to many.
Upon closing the gates to secure the city, Antarmur'ss manifests himself within the city square. Garbed in his battle armor and wreathed in shadows roiling with the emotion contained within. Antarmur'ss makes a small gesture with his hand in a manner meant to beckon any and all forwards.
"My people. The foe is at our door and I have had little fortune in gathering aid to us in order to repel them. Now we have no ground to give. Should we fail here. Should our defenses falter then they will enter this city."
Antarmur'ss tilts his horned head and spreads his hands out to his people. "This is your homes that are threatened now. Not just my own. This is your city as well as mine. Your lives have been built here, and as your God I can not rightfully make this next decision without all your approval or denial."
Antarmur'ss gestured towards the surface high above his head. "There are two others I may speak to, to ask aid in the defense of our home. Venezia and Hexynia. My pride would still my voice though, and my anger at them would make me turn away such aid, even if it would mean the razing of my home. Better to let the cursed destroy all that I have built then ask these two for aid. Yet as I have said before, this is not just my home that is in danger. It is yours as well. So I ask all who call me Lord, Father, and God. Speak up to me now, tell me what your heart wishes. Shall I go and speak to these other gods, or would you have me take what allies I may gather now from the others, and forge on ahead on our own. Be it for victory or loss, in this matter your God bends his knee to your desires my beloved followers."
(Rules: Antarmur'ss has asked for his followers for their advice and thoughts on the matter of asking Venezia and Hexynia for aid in the defense of the city. For each follower you own, you may post their personal response to this question. Include which follower says what please. Antarmur'ss followers have until 9/9 to post their input.
You do NOT have to be actively fighting in the war to have your Pockettu speak up.)

Shira boldly steps forward and makes her stance clear. "I don't trust either of them, or their followers." Her tone diastase and distrust. She didn't trust anyone much and outsiders even more so. However, she would feel the same way about any other allies as well. Grywin glides forward to also share his opinion. "My lord, in this a desperate time. I believe it would be wise to seek aide anywhere if may be found." He would bow his head respectfully, and though he felt this way he would stand by whatever final decision his lord would make. Ferox stood in a less crowed part of the gathering as not to closely or accidentally mingle with those unworthy of his superior company. From here he would comment, though making no real effort to make sure his haughty words were heard. "Psh~ We don't need help from the likes of them to defend our city. We are more than enough to cast out the scum that has crept its way in like the vermin it is." His tone full of disdain.

Triellyn almost didn't come forth at all, his poor performance as a warrior in this skirmish crippling him with the keen sting of self-loathing. But perhaps, he thought, he could help here, considering his true skill lay in words, and not blades. "My Lord," he began quietly, "I loath the idea of you having to stoop to calling upon two lesser gods for aid, but the fact remains that we need to bolster our numbers. Suppose instead that we paint them a slightly different picture. The cursed will not stop if our city falls; they will assuredly turn their gaze upon other realms, even a certain carnival or a certain Hellish temple. Give them an opportunity to band together as one, as the cursed have; a large and final stand at the gates of the city, to drive the cursed back, away from both our realm and eventually theirs. Surely they would not find cause to complain if it is not even their own cities serving as the field of battle." He hoped it had not been too wordy of an answer, but much as he hated his Lord asking for help for any reason, he loathed more the image of what would be left should the cursed succeed.

Akor- Frowns darkly over the words that her father spoke, while she was still young in the second war, she knew how much this hurt her father and how badly they had both betrayed him, "No..." she'd give a shake of her head, "I understand that we need all the help that we can get father, and yes I know things are bad. But what is to stop them from siding with the cursed as soon as they realize the position you are in?" she'd sneer at the thought of the two that had done to much to earn her father's displeasure, "it would do more harm than good if they did that in their blind hatred of you. I don't want to risk it."
Divlyn- Really, he didn't know what to say. He'd heard the words of the others and while they all made sense in one way or another... "Being what I am, where there is the slightest chance for betrayal, it will happen...." shrugging his shoulders. "If you don't trust them, what is the point of opening yourself to treachery? We have enough to deal with as it is."
Zariara- She wasn't sure what to think, only that things were very bad and she was afraid. "I would leave the decision to you grandfather..." her voice was soft and her eyes downcast. "I don't know of these people, only that you and Mother are not please with them, so.... maybe it's not a good idea to ask them for help?"

Antarmur'ss listened to each of his followers tha came to speak their minds and he hoped their hearts. He did not look disapproving upon any of his followers, even those that spoke up for a meeting with the Gods he did disdain. Antarmur'ss closed his eyes after the last of his followers would speak. They stayed closed and he stood in silence as the seconds ticked past. Then they reopened. Antarmur'ss blinked the purple orbs rapidly, as if for a moment he had drifted off in the space of those seconds in which his eyes had been closed. " You have spoken, and I will abide by the desires of the majority. We shall forge on with what other allies we may gather. "
With that issue addressed, he turned to greet the newest additions to his campsite.
Minnaloushe Antarmur'ss nods to the dark feline and he gives a faint chuckle. "My but you are a handsome creature. I almost mistook you for one of my darkbeasts. I wish you many victories nobel creature."
Dragondra: At the sight of the pink solar hound, Antarmur'ss found himself circling Dragondra. "Welcome to the campsite. I am pleased to see you willing to help protect my followers and home." He paused, then added with a small wave of his hand. "If there is anything you are in need of please feel free to speak to any of my priests."
Solaris: At the sight of the Sun God appearing, Antarmur'ss slipped over to try and brush his tail against Solaris' own. "Solais. How good it is to see you. I'd offer you the use of my own tent between battles but I fear it's quite small and cramped. With all the focus I have placed outside the camp it never became neccessary to expand it." With a small wink of his eye he waved at the God before moving on.
Azure With a tilt of his head Antarmur'ss peered over the barely covered female. "My my. What a absolute delight. it is wonderful to see another Demigod within the ranks. I look forwards to seeing how effective you are in battle my dear."
Mithraz : Upon seeing the solar hound that had accompanied Solaris in their first meeting, Antarmur'ss nodded at the creature. "I am not surprised to see you here. I hope you find yourself comfortable here. I am sure your home differs greatly from my dark city."
Azlan : This pockettu gained a glance, then a blink, and a double take. Antarmur'ss tapped his fingers against his chin as he looked over the book carrying pockettu, then he glanced directly over at Rillian who was scribbling in his own large book. Shaking his head he looked back at Azlan and asked curiously. "I don't suppose your a librarian are you? No matter, welcome to my camp. If you come under attack please remember Healers may call upon a Guardian to come protect them."

Solaris beamed as Antar approached and greeted. Their tails brushed and he chuckled as he spoke of the tent. "It's good to see you too, Antarmur'ss." He offered one of his closed eyed smiles in reply to his wink. He still wasn't used to this sort of 'teasing' but it seemed to help Antarmurr's relax so he would good naturedly take it happily.
Azure looked Antar over as he peered at her. Her gaze more cool and calculating, as if determining whether he posed any form of threat to herself or her cherished, childish lord. She crosses her arms over her chest as she spoke in a slightly clipped tone. "I'm not 'your' dear." Not meaning to disrespect him, but simply having not yet warmed up to the unknown god that would 'hit' on her lord.
Mithraz nodded his head in a show of respect for the god of darkness. He never had much to say, but chose to respond. "I am comfortable anywhere Solaris is."
Azlan peered up at the darkness god through his glasses. He blinked slowly wondering passively why the heck he was being stared at and considered so much by the god. He clutched his book tightly, comforted by it's presence. As the god spoke to him and blinked several times. He was silent for a short moment. "I am." His response was quiet and short, wishing he was back in the library among the books rather than here among other pockettu.

Dragondra felt her lips curl back from her teeth with a wary, low growl as the strange god circled around her. Hearing him speak, however, she soon calms down, seeming to realize that this was the god her own god had agreed to help. Rather than speaking, she simply nods her head the slightest bit, then wanders around for a bit, following her nose until she found what she assumed was the healers tent. Pacing around it, she finally finds a spot outside it to curl up and stand guard, thinking that protecting the healers and those that were injured would be a good thing to do for now.
