Personality: As a pup, Boreas showed an aversion to risky ventures (a little bit of being easily nervous or scared in general), preferring to stick to the safer things, unless it came to getting a chance to get cool, such as taking a dip in the big river. He has a tendency to love the cold, especially since he got his mother's thick coat, and is the most happy in the colder weather rather than the hot. As he grows Boreas will lose his aversion to conflict and fear, and will instead develop a temper that will be slow to grow, but will burn hotter than the worst summer days when he's incensed enough to let it out. Boreas also has a small case of wanderlust, in part because he dreams of visiting the distant north and in part probably because he isn't and was never very close to his siblings.
Bio: Boreas is one of four pups in Bryna and Triton's first litter, and lives in Draug Faroth, although he someday intends to travel. He will always return to Draug Faroth (probably), but once he is old enough he wants to travel north to see his mother's homeland and visit colder climates. Boreas isn't close to his siblings, but he doesn't necessarily like being alone either: he's just slowly getting used to learning to play in small doses with them and keep himself occupied by himself or with his parents (or Madhuri) the rest of the time.

Personality: Pol is kind, sweet, but a good warrior and thus not afraid to stand her ground. She's very independent, but the war that resulted in the destruction of the old pack-- and her mother and sister dying-- has cast a pall over her that leaves a perpetual sadness in her eyes and an almost dependent need to do what she can to defend the reformed Antianeira. She does her best to brush it aside so no one notices, but sometimes it just leaks into her expression and there isn't much she can do to stop it. Pol is certainly a thoughtful wolf, which is part of what makes her an effective warrior and advice-giver.
Bio: Hippolyta grew up in the old Antianeira. She was barely a teen when the war broke out over the next Queen, and both her mother and sister perished in the fighting. Pol managed to last til the end and survived the several month dissolution of the pack, wandering on her own. Then, while she was wandering, she stumbled across Penthesilea, the old Queen's advisor-- or rather, Pen stumbled across her. Penthesilea had been named Queen, and Pol was more than happy to follow the new Queen back to their temporary dens and help her rebuild their pack before they could move back to their old home. With the recreation of Antianeira and the return to their original dens, Hippolyta became a reliable warrior and sometime-counselor to the Queen, one of the backbone warriors of the pack.

Personality: Nightshade has a twisted mind. He loves to scare other wolves, loves to know they avoid him because they're afraid of him. He likes the sense of power it gives, because in his mind that shows he's stronger than they are. He doesn't consider his 'slave' status a hindrance; he doesn't hold by ranks or gender. In his mind, he stands above the others despite his gender and rank. Paltry conditions to him. He's the only one to have so much red fur on him in his family, and to him that means he's more powerful, more worthy than any of his siblings, including his so-special sister. For Nightshade, red indicates how strong a wolf you are. That and Nightshade's own drive to impress his mother are the only two things that affect him. He's truly one of the unbalanced wolves. As a pup, and as an adult, he takes pleasure in sneaking up on others in the dark, knowing his creepy appearance will frighten them to no end, but he never does so to groups. He picks his targets when they're alone, so that if they cry foul on him to the Head Warrior or the Queen, he can fall back on his 'demure slave' persona to deny that he had any intentions of frightening anyone.
Bio: Nightshade was part of a litter of four and one of three boys in it. He was born into the Antianeira pack, a pack of female warriors who believe males are good for nothing but for being slaves and for breeding purposes. He was the only boy of his litter who remained in Antianeira with his mother and sister-- the others being sent to live with their father and his pack-- but in his mind that's all to the better.

Personality: With Merill as a mom, it would be hard for Roland not to take on some of that confidence and hard working attitude, especially as the only boy. However, he certainly doesn't try to take the spotlight (that's Camille's job), and he isn't interested in being Momma's pet. Roland is just trying to get by with a minimum of fuss. He loves his family-- or will when he gets older and stops being annoyed by females in general-- and loves to watch his mom lay down the law as Beta. He can be a realist sometimes, but he'd rather see everyone treated fairly whenever possible, even at the risk of putting his own honor on the line. And with the Beta as your mom, nothing is more important than your good word.
Bio: Roland was born in the YMCA pack along with his siblings, and has never known anything else. So far, that's it!
