Cami had prepared for this moment. She hadn't told anyone really about the whole thing because, if she had to be honest with herself, it was ******** ridiculous. She'd done her hair up in a side ponytail as best she could. The yellow sports bra went well with the true blue denim shorts and primary red suspenders. All in all she looked as best she could like the Cerulean sister Misty, the one and only Pokemon character she knew anything about.

There was actually some rather disgusting porn out there of the poor girl, she'd discovered while looking for a character that she could emulate. The original idea had been to get a Pikachu onesie and wear that to impress the Boss but the beach? In a onesie?

No way.

While everyone (Rep, especially, she did not want to see this more than he had to) she stood before the lifeguard's chair and tried to look like she knew what the hell she was doing. She didn't, of course, but she was damned well going to try! "My name is Camille Ryland but everyone ought to call me Cami, because that's what I like! My charm point is..." Without saying much she slapped a hand against her denim-covered backside with a rather obvious look in the direction of her lead.

"What I'd like to ask for is some funding towards a project that will help our newest nakama. I know you've all experienced, at one time or another, a feeling of confusion as to what being a Hunter is all about. I know that, without Pey being the best sunpai ever, I wouldn't probably be here right now to talk to you!" Because promoting one of her best friends was important she couldn't help but toss that in there. "Working with Taym Thompson, who was recently promoted to full Hunter status in the Moon Division, I'd like funding to create a pamphlet."

Reaching into her pocket she pulled out her mock-up and handed it to Allan. It was brightly-colored and this one was geared specifically towards Sun Hunters. She had the idea to make one for every division, if possible, and then a general one if she couldn't quite get the money to do separates. It talked about going down to the training fields, how your nakama were who you needed to know, with the names of the full Hunters in the division included inside.

"Obviously I'd like to do this for all divisions but Sun is my priority because Sun is my division. We're the front lines and we take the greatest risk. By helping facilitate the training and education of our nakama I think we can make our division shine brighter than any Sun there's ever been before!" She gestured, striking a pose she'd seen in an anime video on the internet, and feeling like a bit of an idiot.

If it got her the money she needed, however, the whole thing would be worth it.

"Yes, definitely!" They could talk about tattoos, or anything really. Whatever their newest Sun nakama needed.

She fell quiet again as he and Rep talked, not having much to add at all, and really not having any need to interject. She waited, smiling, hands in her back pockets, just watching the pair interacting, and finding herself pleasantly surprised with her red-headed comrade.

She remembered, when she had first woken up, that Rep had been an okay guy, and really, he'd never done anything specifically to her, but to someone she held dear. It had colored they way she felt, and that opinion had been further soured by interactions on twitter. In the flesh, the big guy wasn't too bad.

So far.

Admittedly she didn't really see him enough to make a fair judgement, but at least right now, he was being damn pleasant.

Cami had caught Peyton's attention, and she listened as her kouhai went over her proposal plans, admitting silently that pamphlets wouldn't be a bad idea. There was DIANA, but that database wasn't 100% finished, and it wasn't terribly division specific. Something more would be awesome. The name drop and praise was appreciated as well, and earned the other girl a bright smile that she may or may not notice.

When Zac pipped up with a question on nakama it had the daintier Sun laughing. "It's japanese. An anime term, actually. It means like, family, comrades. We're," she gestured to herself and Rep, "are your nakama."

The redhead couldn't help but be rather pleasantly surprised that Peyton considered him her nakama at all given their history on twitter to date. "You'll be surprised what people here can endure without bleeding too much, but aye, no c**t wants to try and tattoo a drunk wriggly ******** aye, there's monsters plural out there in the water." Rep piped up helpfully to Zac though. "Tentacles, evil mermaids, you name it. And wether there's actually a swim team...is anyone's guess. The bossman is eh...unpredictable sometimes." He shrugged. "It'll be dependent entirely on his mood."

Chel watched the others with a morose sort of boredom. When Allan looked at her, she gave him a thumbs up and pretended she was most definitely listening.

In reality, she'd begun covering Milo's leg in sand. Because she was going to bury him. Milo was going to become the sandcastle.

Allan kind of stared wide-eyed at Jordan, and it felt like for a moment, the whole conversation had gone right over the Sun lead's head. Thankfully, Simon had arrived back just in time to save the day, and the two conversed a bit for a brief second, the Sun lead hopping off from his lifeguard throne to discuss matters with his Iwatobi swim club assistant.

"Oh, I see!" Five minutes later Allan was back to his usual beaming expression, putting both hands on his sides. "Jordan-chan! You will do a fantastic job being a sensei for all the starting ninjas! Remember to show them spirit, strength, encouragement, and of course, to use their kokoro. Make us proud, and find peace in your kokoro as well!"

Allan gave Zac the same time and attention he gave the full Hunters. His defining trait was always sincerity, and as far as the Sun lead was concerned, even the newest trainees always had a chance to become a great (shinobi warrior) Hunter one day.

"Training is very important for our division, but remember more important than training is to make sure you become nakama, friends, with everyone you work with. When your kokoro align with each other, then, you will become an unstoppable force and obtain bankai."

Someone out there, there was probably an Allan dictionary, but it was much more fun when most non Anime-savvy people tried to decipher or fill out the words to their liking.

Bix had been finishing his watermelon as everyone went over their proposals. He'd been riveted, with a quirk of the mouth, at the awkwardly brief marriage conversation, but returned to his watermelon once it swiftly fizzled.

Finding Jerry and Jordan now gotten their verdicts from Allan, Bix got up to join them where they stood.

"Hey Jerr! Jordan!" He grabbed Jerry for a firm handshake-bro hug, and Jordan got another friendly handshake in turn. "Lookin good and trim! How's the jungle?"

To Jerry Bix was much the same though he now had a tattoo, a new style of coat, a bit more upper body mass, and his hair had grown back enough to be pulled into a ponytail.

Peyton was having trouble with trying to stifle the giggle fit she'd fallen into over Zac's questions, Rep's answers, and Allan's continued guidance over the rest of them. When she had the laughter under control, attention sliding back to the two she had been talking to, she rolled her shoulders in a broad, all encompassing shrug. "Kokoro is heart. Bankai, as far as I can tell, is the anime equivalent of a FEAR charge."

Talk of the water had her turning her head to peer out glittering blue. "Lots of monsters, but for the most part we can take'em. If something bigger decides to check things out, I think there's enough Suns out here, and Allan, to take care of it.

"N' if you like surfing, you should probably talk to Milo." She pointed towards the hunter in question. Tall, tanned, with a shaggy mop of chestnut hair. "He surfs, or did. Dunno if he still does." She called out, voice rising. "'Ey Milo! Come here a second!"
