Clerks. I remember that because I was.. What? Eight? My mother has yet to forgive my father, and my stepmother was horrified when she heard how young I was to have watched it.
I hadn't seen a thing wrong with it at the time! In fact, I wanted to grow up to be just like Dante and work at the Quick Stop.

I got this friend named Chris who is a big movie geek, and back in my pothead days he showed me this movie called "Clerks". He knew that I love black and white movies he said I would love it. It was the funniest thing I had ever seen and I've been hooked ever since.
He naturally went to see Clerks 2 on the very first day it was out, I swear he lives at the theater, and he's been trying to tell me what happened but I keep warding him off cause I dont want to spoil it.

Mallrats in theatres as a kid. Brodie was my first sight at how love was, and from that movie on I have always loved cats.

My first was Dogma (which was on network television and therefore censored). Then, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was on Starz or something and I watched it (uncensored this time).

Clerks, and then the same night i saw the animated version. Watched both with my girlfriend. Loved them. The next time i went to her house, we watched Chasing Amy and Mallrats. It was totally her fault that I got into Kevin Smith. Haha. Gotta love her.

Sadly, I saw Dogma first. I was forced, I had wanted to see them all in order but nuuuuuuu...
Then I met Jay (yes, that is his name, not just some guy who acts alot like and has the same name as Jay in the ViewAskewniverse) who promptly showed me everything, in order. Well, with the exception of a few things like Strike Back, Clerks 2, the Evenings, and the cartoon, that wasn't on DVD yet...
I was quite amused to discover Toms River in the cartoon, as I now live there, three blocks from the Little Leauge field. (weekends suck around here in baseball season, the loudspeakers are too loud)
