Dakota leaving had Marcus's eyes following him the whole way out, the moon hunter visibly tensing and holding back from going after his friend. That- that really- no way. Dakota was probably just being impulsive again. But yet there hadn't been any joke. A stone had begun to set in Marcus's gut.

At Ian's question, Marcus stared at him. "..You've got nothing?" He was kind of surprised. "I just asked for the possibility of a all terrain moon unit for training- we need to convince life to get us what we need." A small motion to his face. "Want to play negotiator in my place?" He leaned back.

Nodding with approval, Edith gave Harrison a small but genuinely pleased smile. "Good work, and keep at it. Some folks won't pay attention to warning unless it seems like it's coming from a person, not some book or webpage." Lifting her hand, she pointed a finger at Taym, "You'd do well to get Hughes' help on your own project."

Another nod and then, "I've got some good wedding recipes I haven't had a chance to use in awhile. Be sure to reserve a space for me at the buffet table." Edith liked to know her food got a choice spot to make sure folks didn't accidentally fail to notice it. Can't have them missing out.
