A tall, mysterious and completely cloaked figure had been watching from the shadows of the carnival for quite some time. There were faint purple glows emitting from his eyes, but that was about all that could be seen from this strange individual. It was clear that he did not want his identity to be seen... or even noticed...

In silence, he walked up to the Genie's booth and calmly placed a single crystal shard down upon the table. He then proceeded to blend back into the shadows from whence he came......

Still the genie refused! She deeply frowned as she gently bounced Aysel on her hip. "It's a really useful item, truly. Endless possibilities even! You can wear it or sew with it or use it to barter..." She tried bargaining, even though it obviously wasn't so good with the last option.

Malek was late in noticing this stand, and it appeared many had already come and gone since it opened. Looking around, he couldn't help but walk over with a certain curiosity and follow in suit in offering an item. Now, where'd he'd found this particular gift that he held out was up to anyone's imagination, but he had it and did just that in his sort of silent hope.

Maple Sugar figured--hey, carnivals were a good place to meet people, right? Unfortunately, it appeared that most of the men here were family men, already blessed with little ones. So many shapes and sizes! She, too, was attracted by the genie, and pulled a small vial of pink fluid from her pack. She made a quick wish and then offered it to the genie with a smile.

Unable to resist the pull of a good celebration, the Faun Brewmaster quietly explored the festivities and partook of the local delicacies. After tipping back a bottle of something the booth vendor called a 'soda', Mojo stopped in his tracks. Ahead of him was something familiar, that he'd never think to see ever again. A genie.

"We meet again," he muttered, strengthening his stance. He lowered his gaze and held his staff at arms length to his side. A light breeze sent a small tumbleweed between the fox-faun and the carnival genie booth. Somewhere in the distance was a faint caw.

The usually easy-going Brewmaster approached the genie and slammed a blue, beaded cord on the counter of the booth. "We're even," he growled then turned and walk away without another sound.

Zecora came forward, bringing with her a small colorful voodoo doll. It was not the most wise thing she had ever done: bringing a voodoo doll to a genie with unknown motives. It was her hope that the genie would not know what to do with it, and would appreciate it as just an ordinary doll and grant her a single wish.

Maybe her father went in here? As the female entered she noticed a green and white naiad living with a babe, softly cursing under her breath. What was her problem? She shrugged it off before approaching the vendor. "Excuse me? Have you seen a fae about this tall and crimson hair? Tends to say corny jokes?" The Genie looked less than amused. Then she caught sight of the sign asking for an offering. But all she had was her cake! And there was no way she was parting with that. "Oh, I get it. I'll be right back!" With that she darted out to run around the carnival, looking for a suitable offering.

A few minutes yielded her a strange looking veil. She ran back with the object. "I got you something! Now, about my father..."

Selah hadn't gotten any kind of recognition from the genie before. They were stony-faced. With a bit of a frown, Selah came back another day and offered another little soft bell. It looked like it was made of felt.
