She stared at Mistral for a moment, eyes wide in shock. They'd died? Andronicus couldn't quite wrap her head around this concept for a moment. A whole group of people were just... gone. Her group had had it easy compared to that. Rage bubbled in her chest, and she wanted to call Mistral names and yell that she was irresponsible. That she should have planned better. That she should have known the dangers.

But Andronicus couldn't bring herself to it. She dropped to her knees and hugged the small page tightly, though without sufficating the poor girl. She was furious that this happened, that Mistral had let this happen, but as she said it wouldn't bring them back. They were gone, never to return, and being angry about it wasn't going to do anything to help. If anything it would just make Mistral feel worse; if she was anything like Andronicus, the page would be blaming herself for the entirely of this. And while some of it was her fault, a lot of it wasn't. Just because it was her wonder, didn't mean she knew everything about it. Just because Mistral had been down there didn't mean there weren't traps for people who weren't Mistral or Mercury Knights. s**t happens. Andronicus' entire lower back was covered in a burn because someone set the building on fire. It did not excuse what happened, but maybe it was a wake up call the knights needed. That they weren't invunerable.

"I... would say something useful here but I'm thinking it wouldn't help much. Just... look. s**t happened. And it's not your fault. I'm not sure better coms are worth, but it's not your fault. We are not impervious, we are not invincible. We should have been more cautious. " It wasn't much, but perhaps it would help Mistral a little. The Page of Uranus gave a small smile and stood back up.

She nodded to Ashur and Buyan. The Page glanced around for Themiscyra before porting out of existence. She'd contact her later.

Andronicus OUT!

Ashur shuffled his feet, his eyes resting on Buyan and Andronicus repectively as they spoke. He could only seem to nod along, as though his nods would echo the thoughts that they were voicing, and occasionally glanced around at the other knights, inadvertently focusing on the red splotches on the uniforms of some. Most? He couldn't be sure. No that he wanted to be. Bad enough anyone died; he wasn't sure how sane he'd be if their blood had gotten anywhere on his person. He shuffled again, and at the nod he gave a small wave and watched Andronicus bow out.

He found he had little reason to stay as well, but it was almost...awkward. Just leaving after suffering the least of the problems the lot of them had encountered in the labyrinth. He'd complained about slime and ice cold water and the inconveniently placed box with the device pieces. Meanwhile, the others dealt with death traps and the like. Ash really...couldn't think of a single thing to say. Not a thing to try and buoy his fellow knights' spirits.

Not that he thought any clever quips would help the situation. Likely it'd just earn him a punch in the face.

With a sigh he decided that it'd probably be best if he followed after those who'd left, considering there was nothing he could really do to help much. He walked over and placed a hand on Mistral's shoulder, eyes sympathetic and conveying a message that simply said "you couldn't have known" before he stepped back and ported out.

More people had come, a Uranus Page with another device piece, a Saturn Squire, a Neptune Page, another Uranus knight - this one a Squire... As Falias watched them emerge, Falias couldn't help but wonder how many of the this new party had been taken by Mistral's deathrinth, found himself wondering - perhaps unfairly - if there had been any more 'dolls' lying around.

He said nothing though as the Uranus Page asked what was going on, or as other members of this new party faded away.

All his words had already been said and since he had and knew no one who could resurrect the dead, the only thing he really wanted to do now was to get drunk - royally, stinking and messily drunk.

Grumbling and the sound of bells announced Ys's emergence from Level 4 to the lobby where the groups were gathered. Wet, tired and bored of this whole thing, he trailed at the heels of Meggido, the only person he really knew here. Normally that would not have held him back in any other social situation, but knight stuff was weird and dangerous... sticking to the people you knew meant you knew you'd have someone to protect you. Megs was good for that too... waaaaay more combative than he was.

For once, the tall knight was actually quite happy to fade into the background, because suddenly what had been a disappointing and sort of stupid jaunt into something vaguely D&D-for-5-yr-olds had turned deadly serious... emphasis on dead. Tangerine eyes widened when he realized they had actually lost a few people in the lower levels, sudden fear making him stiff. He could have died doing this? The ******** was Megs thinking, agreeing to this s**t and dragging him along? This was not what he had agreed to! He never would have come along if he'd known, his life was far more precious than some stupid communication device.

It meant Ys was more than in agreement with Meggido when she decided not to join the drinking. Sweeping his hand across his body, he gave a theatrical bow to the assembled, unconcerned if they were even paying attention to him, and willed himself back to Earth the way he had that one time he visited his wonder. Sudden silence rushed in as the bells disappeared with him.
