[ Oliver Wound: Ribcage ]
"It shouldn't, since we're stitching it up so quickly. If you don't agitate it, combined with the healing factor given by our Fear bonds... you should be fine. It's a minor wound." He soothed, watching Noemi work with more attention to detail than usual. He was her teacher, after all. If she messed it up, he would be to blame.
"Good job, Noemi. You're doing good."

"It looks like just scalding, from arm to neck and a little down the ribcage. Hard to move his arm without jostling the wound." Noemi actually answered crisper, clearer. And without her usual stutter. "No lacerations or cuts from preliminary check, Oliver do you feel..um..Do you feel hot anywhere else?" She pulled out a thermometer. "sometimes burns can lead to the beginning of a fever, signs that your body are going into shock." She urged his mouth open, "Say ah?"
"Do you think we should put Aloe on first?" She asked over to Lex. With the thermometer in Oliver's mouth, she went to checking his pupils to mke sure there was no dilation beyond normal and then checking heart pressure. All basic things.
"Can you lift your arm a little Oliver?" She took the thermometer out finally when it beeped and frowned. Just starting a fever.

Noemi's hand remained steady. Silence passed by in minutes, ranging to thirty minutes. She was quiet, because she was finishing them up and wiping her brow.
"Okay.." She looked at them and then leaned back for Lex to see. "Okay?"

Oliver wilted slightly when Lex arrived, like a puppy anticipating a scolding. "N-nowhere else..." He replied. It wasn't that bad, was it? Just a bit of a burn...? The kid was starting to get nervous, and immediately tried to protest, "It's not that ba-" Suddenly the thermometer was in his mouth, and all he could do was sit there quietly as Noemi did her checks.
He glanced towards Lex, and wilted a little bit more before lifting is arm for Noemi's inspection. "I-it's okay, right?" The kid asked in a small voice once the thermometer was taken back.

[ Oliver Wound: Ribcage ]The anaesthetic had truly been the best option. Instead of a shaky, jittering mess, Oliver was quiet, and only flinched on occasion when a nerve was struck. During the stitching itself he didn't once turn his head to look. After a time Noemi seemed to have finished the task. "Okay?" He also asked, and tried to sit up to look at the wound.

Lex frowned at the results of the thermometer, shaking his head. Of course Oliver was going in to shock. He pulled out a bottle of pain killers from his bag, shaking a few out and putting his hand in front of Oliver's face. "I need you to swallow these." Lex ordered as kindly as he could, small smile gracing his lips and grey eyes bright. They couldn't startle Oliver, upsetting the patient was on the list of very bad things to do.
"Yes, Aloe will help. Apply gauze, bandages to reduce swelling. You know the drill." Lex nodded at Noemi. Again, this was her rodeo to run.
