"You smell funny!" childishly countered the scientist as he crossed his arms and turned his nose up snootily at the band teacher. Hearing the question, Alan uncrossed his arms and looked down to his coat, picking at a loose thread. "It's more of a safety precaution than anything else, really. Before I went through puberty, I looked like everyone else did, but after, I retained my shape. I went to an all-boy's school most of my life, so when the other boys started dealing with urges, and I didn't, they would notice me. There weren't any girls to deflect their attentions, so for a long time, I was targeted. At first, it was alright, but when I was a sophomore in high school..." He trailed off, looking out a window as he remembered certain events that lead to him permanently adopting a loose lab coat as attire.
Alan had already worn it every now and then for certain classes, and for the Chemistry Club that he chaired, but one day, after German Club activities had finished up and he was cleaning the room out, two of the upperclassmen came into the room, shutting the door behind them and cornering the slender male against the blackboard. His shirt was already torn open and pants on the ground by the time a teacher came in and carted the upperclassmen away.
Back in the present, Alan shook his head and returned his attention to Reed, cheeks pink with embarrassment for being caught remembering the past. "Anyway, like you witnessed today, my body still attracts attention. I don't really get why, but regardless, it's made it difficult for me to not wear my lab coat. My father refuses to let me own any clothes that don't flatter me, since he says baggy clothes are a sign of poverty, so all I have to hide my figure is my lab coat. Make fun of me all you want, but it's the truth."

He shook his head at the suggestion, disgusted. "You obviously haven't been paying attention to me. I'm really awkward. Having a nice body means nothing if I can't actually talk people into doing things for me. Really, the whole thing is just a waste of time. Besides, I like doing things by myself. I don't need to seduce some stupid kid into doing it for me." Alan sighed, jumping down from the desk and walking around it to open a drawer. "And anyway, these kids can smell virgin from a mile away. I look like a little kid wearing Daddy's clothes when I try to be sexy. You don't... do that, do you? Seduce the kids, I mean."

Alan's cheeks immediately turned red, even the idea of being attracted to the other teacher sending a shiver up his spine. "Don't be absurd! You're a man, that's disgusting!" he cried, hands still inside the deep drawer. With a fierce scowl on his pretty face, Alan once more looked half his age, furious at everything that had to do with the awful man. He pulled out a large box, carrying it over to the blackboard and pulling out various lengths and colors of chalk sticks. "And wipe that grin off your face. You're so arrogant!"

"Stop thaaaaaat!" he whined, trying to smack away the man's hand even after he had moved away. Attention on the chalk, Alan shrugged at the teacher's opinion. "I don't really think anything of it. I mean, my dad's been chasing after the same guy since I finished grad school. I just don't see why I'd want to shove myself into another guy, or even a girl, for that matter." He chose to ignore the obvious fact that, would Alan ever have sex with a man, he'd definitely be the one that was being penetrated.
His blush spread down to below his collar when the colored chalk was pointed out, an irritated vein appearing on his forehead. "Shut up, it help me figure out equations!" he snapped, setting down a pink piece of chalk.

Alan's slim hand reached out to snatch the yellow chalk back, scowling once more. "Don't pretend like you know me!" he sneered, setting the chalk back carefully so as not to break it. Turning to face him, Alan crossed his arms and shook his head. "Why are you still in here, anyway? You probably don't even remember my name!" accused the male.

"Of course, I know your name, clotpole," he retorted, just barely stopping himself from stomping his foot. "It's de Févin, right?" Alan wouldn't dare admit that he only knew the name because he heard girls in his class giggling about Mr. de Févin and his handsome self, and that he didn't remember the man's first name.

With a impatient sigh, the teacher plucked the nameplate from the edge of the chalkboard and held it up. "Alan Brandt," he said, shaking his head. "What, all that music affect your ability to read?" Setting the nameplate into a drawer and closing it, he crossed his arms and headed across the classroom. "There, now you know. Don't you have instruments to play?"

"I really don't want to know what your definition of fun is," grumbled the man as he put away the chalk box, lifting a blue piece of chalk and starting to write out an extensive equation. In the middle of the equation, he turned to Reed and raised an eyebrow. "What did you have in mind?"
