One of the trash bags had broken open, spilling junk across the floor of the room. Estel snatched up a slime-covered brick and dodged away from the spilled trash as another bot came too close, preparing to clean up the mess she had made. She hurled the brick at Xavier's Trashbot and wiped her hands clean on her skirt.

Xavier's captor was making some strange whirring noises now. A few more sparks were spit out here and there and the smoke was becoming more present as well.
"..You don't think this is going to explode on us do you?" he asked with uncertainty. He struggled some more, but now he was actually pretty worried about what might happen very soon.

"If it lets you go, you gotta be ready to run!" She picked up another sack of garbage and hurled it.
There was a loud crunch from somewhere inside the sack.

That was a worrying noise. Xavier wasn't sure if that was from the garbage thrown or from the robot itself. Either way, he was soon released. Dropping down to the floor, he ran off over by Estel, then looked back. The trashbot jerked and clunked some before simply deactivating. It was still sparking, however.
"Thank you... Um.. let's get out of here before another one decides to try and clean up this mess or whatever," he suggested. Taking in a breath, he dusted himself off before extending a hand out to Estel for a handshake.

"Just a sec!" Estel ducked a stray Trashbot limb, scurrying across the floor to scoop up one of the sacks she had thrown and toss it into one of the disposal chutes.
There were some strange noises from down in the chute that she decided not to think about, bolting straight for the door instead. "Okay, come on!" She hauled the door open and stepped outside, holding it open for Xavier.

"Right! We should get out first," he agreed before scampering over to get out. Once he was safely past the threshold, he let out a breath and turned back around.
"Well! That was... something. At least we didn't end up getting scrambled or whatever in there."

Estel slammed the door shut hard behind them and leaned back against it, starting to laugh. "That was fun!"
Maybe her idea of 'fun' wasn't particularly healthy.
She looked at her hands, which were still more slimy than she would have liked, sighed, and tried to wipe them off on her skirt some more. "I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to have learned, though..."

Xavier tilted his head, looking at her a little blankly for a moment.
"You know, that kind of was, actually. And.. I'm not really sure either, honestly. Other than to watch out for the trashbots?" he shrugged while glancing towards the room.
"Hopefully all the classes aren't here aren't quite like that."

"Well, I guess we'll see, huh?... I should go get cleaned up..." She wasn't sure if she was capable of smelling like trash - but her belongings probably were, and she had brought all her notebooks to this class, not knowing what to expect.
Now she felt like she understood why Liruna, when helping her pick out school supplies, had stressed that she wanted to buy a waterproof bag.
Smiling and waving to Xavier, she set off towards her own dorm, yelling over her shoulder, "Take care!"

"..Yeah same here," he stated while looking down at himself. Yeah.. he needed a shower now.
"Oh! See you later!" he called out. Then, Xavier went on his own way.
