It seemed they were back to Noemi being flustered at his signs of affection, which only made Milo chuckle and give her another squeeze as there was a pat to his arms. "Happy Fourth, Noemi!" Aw, cute, it looked like she was blushing a bit as well. The Sun pulled away from her, at least in clutching action, but kept the smaller girl at arm's length.
Hearing the familiar name, Milo turned to the other girl that Noemi was greeting and offered his own as well, "Howzit, Shu-chan!"
But in this, he finally found an opening to America and briefly left one red head for another. He had to get to her at least, with her being near the now Boston Tea Partied kiddie pool, not like it was that far (now Noemi had a chance to run) but still, a few steps to saddle up to her and deposit his present and greeting. "Hau'oli la Hanau ~!"nyxtsuki moon you are free... for noooow

The proper prince act faltered shamelessly as Edgar witnessed America's reaction. He hid a smile behind his hand, pretending to cough, but found himself incapable of hiding it at all when she spun him around and kissed him on the cheek. "Many happy returns of this day!" He then gave her the bow he'd withheld, which he now wholeheartedly felt that she had earned, and attempted to regain his composure. As he stood, he caught a glimpse of someone waving to him. No, not just someone-- "Fair princess!" he cried, stepping towards her as he pantomimed that he was clutching his own heart within his chest. "Art thou well? O, mine heart hath yearned for thee!"

There see, nothing to worry about! Noemi was let go for gift giving, and though Milo was very important and dear, she had yet to figure out just how to...place him in her world yet. Her gaze drew to Shu who was being...Noemi wasn't sure what to call what Edgar was doing. Was he wooing her? Serenading her? C...Calling on her!?!? Who knew Shu had captured a heart of another!
She quickly hurried away since both of her friends were busy, mostly to the part of the park that was designed as a baseball field and looked it over. She missed the type of field. It held it's own memories of home for her. Both playing and watching others play on it.
A small hand slid over one of the gloves that had been set out and then picked it up, the one that fit the best, along with a baseball. It had been a long time since she played, since coming to the Island, but she could probably get away with tossing the ball to herself or something. She...She was too nervous to talk to the others after all. Meegane she escaped look at u and yoru cutie prince ohohoo

Shu quickly waved back to Milo and Noemi, before she could say something, she was occupied. "I am good, glad to see you here! You are still so funny and cute. What do you think of the cakes and pies here? I had help in making them~ You should try some when you have time." The girl giggled happily at his pantomime and was highly amused, so the boy earned a hug from the girl. "Quite a while not seeing you, how are you?"

lizbot To: Miss America From: Queen C c u l8r Attachments: starspangledtoenails.jpg The text, hours before, had been Cee's only confirmation that she'd be at the party. When she appeared it was fashionably late as always. She ran towards the group (impressively) in appropriate footwear waving the a** end of a bottle of tequila and what looked like a wicker basket with a bow. "Happy birthday MURICAAAAAA!!" She hooted loudly around what looked like a celebratory joint held between her lips. Smoke streaked from the glowing end as she ran and brought a signature cloud of weed smell, layered with expensive perfume, with her. "GUURRRRRLL!" America would find herself mashed to Cee's body clad in booty shorts and a Philadelphia Phillies Champions 2008 cut off t-shirt. Her dark hair was wrapped up in a red bandanna (with the world champion of hair bumps) and she'd even done themed eye makeup. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" "I got you s**t!" Concetta handed America the basket which contained a selection of unopened nail polishes from her makeup kit, a glittery handmade coupon for 'Free Grrls Day b***h', and another rolled up joint packed into an empty lipstick case. "Who wantsa get cruuuunk?" She danced in a circle to whatever song was playing. She was clearly ready for fun.. and hookups should anyone be interested.

"I don't know what the heck that even means," America admitted cheerfully to Milo as she took the gift, along with a big hug. Opening it she found a little figure, the sort that Allan cherished by the hundreds. Letting out a small squeal she held it aloft, "You got me the angry a** kicking one!" Another hug quickly followed because it was ******** adorable and also wore red heels. And speaking of heels, America got a armful or Cee and a face full of hair ( it was a truly epic bump.) Laughing, America took the basket with glee, and where she gave other people sloppy, glossy cheek kisses, she gave Cee just a small and tidy one, out of respect for the make-up. "Thanks honey, I'm gonna be calling this in soon too, 'cause I'm hella jelly over those toes." Noticing, Noemi, America carefully deposited her gifts on a table, picked up a bottle of beer, and called out, "You ready to play ball?"

Noemi tossed the ball up and then looked over as America greeted her.
"I love to...to play!" She managed to get out, "O...Oh but should...teams? or...just play catch?" She noticed a certain MISS CEE and smiled at the girl as well.
She let the ball drop into the glove and waited for Miss America's plan.

Though her hands were daintily coiled around Robert's arm, it was clear that Mimsy was the one leading him. She did not need to drag him along, nor yank him back towards her - they walked comfortably side by side, excepting the occasional nudge with a twitch of her fingers to direct him. This display of devoted restraint was somewhat difficult to maintain when they were close enough for the spread of food to be visible. She hastily whispered a promise of cake as they walked in a direction that was markedly not towards the cakes, as her primary intention was to deliver the gift that she carried. It was dangling from one hand, held by a single finger that was hooked into the red twine that was tied around the simple white giftbox to keep it closed. At the present, it wasn't doing a very good job of that, because her careless carrying had caused the box to scrunch up a bit beneath the strain of the string around it. "I certainly do not mean to intrude," she began, stopping at the table where some of the other apparent gifts had just been deposited, "and we will not distract you from your game for long. We just have a present for you." She removed her hand from his arm just long enough to offer it towards her, the box still jovially swinging back and forth. The tag on it read: From: The Morrises"Happy birthday." The box was urged towards her, and Mimsy even spared a surprisingly friendly smile.

The look of longing on his face as they passed the refreshments was tragic.Robert followed along, adding his own hyper-active commentary whenever something about the party caught his attention, which was quite a lot. When they arrived at America, he looked almost shy, keeping a step further than Mimsy was while craning to see if America opened the gift there, or just put it away for later. Mimsy's quiet words were echoed moments later, in a loud, boisterous voice. His hands shot up in the air as he yelled it. "HAAAAPPY BIRTHDAY!!"

"How 'bout you pitch me a few and..." Seeing Mimsy and Robert appear, she gave Noemi a wink and signed for the other girl to give her a few minutes. Birthdays were the best sort of demanding, and it'd be a lie to say America wasn't happily wallowing in her special day. Beaming at Mimsy, America began, "I'm so glad you guys could make it!" She took the box with a delighted expression as the plainer packaging somehow made it, to her mind, fairly fancy indeed. Robert's shout was followed by one of her own, "THAAAANK YOU!!" And then America pulled the bit of twine loose to see what they'd brought.

Inside the box was red oh god so much red something was faintly glowing to greet her: a single strand of dozen small star and crescent lights in alternating red, white, and blue (or bright rust, luminous pale yellow, and neon blue more accurately, due to the limitations of the algae within) coiled up to neatly fit into the container. The lights seemed to form a cozy little nest around the other items in the box. In the center was a set of brilliantly glittery nail polish in red, white, and blue as well, albeit more properly patriotic hues for each of them. "Created with your treehouse in mind, but you can hang them wherever you choose, of course," Mimsy explained, leaning to rest her head on Robert's shoulder. "They contain self-sustaining algae, and do not require a power source, as long as they are occasionally provided with sunlight. And I suppose the nail polish needs no explanation, does it?" For the sake of fairness she didn't offer one, just in case Robert really did intend to elaborate. Carefully.

Cee found Noemi quickly, regardless of the other trying to play catch or whatever with America. "Hey baby girl." She was still puffing her joint freely and cared not for the cloud of smoke that hung around her briefly before the island breeze blew it away. "U want some? Git dis party started am I right? Hahaha." She offered Noemi the smoke. "Or u wanna hit up dis tequila wit me?"

Lawr had a strange relationship with alcohol, he found the sensation of being buzzed very difficult to discern from the normal low level distance he felt at all times from all things, so he tended to drink perhaps more than he should reasonably to maintain his faculties. He only registered that perhaps the alcohol was stronger than he had reckoned when he found himself trying to set his cup on the edge of the table and dropping it.
He narrowed his eyes at the fallen utensil, before looking up at the smell of weed. His olfactory senses had only gotten more and more heightened over time and he was almost startled by how strong even the breeze was.
Finding himself drink-less he pushed himself up with his good hand to stand, or rather teeter, finding himself inconvenienced by his own levels of inebriation.
He wasn't really thinking straight and on the way to get another drink he felt like it was very important to stress something to America, so he made his way over.
"Missy don't... do not think I'm not offended at you.." he waved his hand emphatically. "Not inviting me. I did a lot lessh than the people who do nothing and a lot more than the people who do nothing." If anything his American accent was more convincing when he wasn't able to hamper it. "What do you want? A written apology? A bouquet?" Butch offered a suggestion and too confused to object he added it on. "A squeaky... bone?"
He shook his head. "Ya ain't very nice to me. After I wished ya a happy birthday and all too."

Noemi made a 'o' face at America.
"S..Sure! Whenever you want!" She rolled the ball in her hand just as Cee came over. Oh she was smoking one of her...
"N...No thank you Miss Cee." Noemi laughed, "M..Maybe after the game? I will have...a drink with you." Yes. COMPROMISING.
