"I didn't have it in me, then." She informed him, taking his hand and pulling herself up to her feet. Immediately, she brushed herself off, and began the walk back to the building. "Things change, I guess."

She smiled over her shoulder. "Hopefully for the better."

"Change is good..Sometimes," Jude said with a small shrug and a faint smile. He'd changed a lot over time, in small doses and in leaps and bounds. Each ebb of the day took something out of him and replaced it with something else.

Was he who he was truly meant to be? Was he the person he was going to become in the world outside?

He somehow doubted it.

"Hopefully," he let her wander off on her own, but watched her to make sure she walked with no problems, when she seemed safe and out of sight he simply wandered out himself. He had some things he wanted to do.
