Well one thing to know about them, is drugs. xD Lots of drugs. They did mushrooms, weed, cocaine, heroine, and drank a lot. Who really knows the extent of all the drugs they did. Back in the 70's people really didn't realize so much that drugs were so bad for you. It wasn't even believed that cocaine was addictive. I do know that the lead singer, Robert Plant, was a huge Lord of The Rings fan. "Ramble On" and "The Battle of Evermore" are definitely LOTR inspired. A lot of people also think "Stairway to Heaven", "Misty Mountain Top" and "Over The Hills and Far Away" are also inspired by it. I never can decide which song is my favorite. I tend to listen to "Ramble On" and "Going To California" the most. But I can't even say those two are my favorites.

Okays, more musics from me. :3 Think I like doing one band at a time. So this time it's "Of Monsters and Men". I love them. heart
i don't have a list of favorite songs... it mostly depends on my mood. But i like the kind i could relate to. Like Simple Plan, Pay Money to My Pain, Trading Yesterday, The Cab... stuff like that. I find the best way to relieve myself of negative stuff is to find a song i could cry to. I like me some Kpop and Jpop and some OPM(original pinoy music). If the beat moves me, then it's good.
I also love it if a song can make me sings in the shower or dance to the beat. It makes me feel more alive.

Ah, I'll have to check out some of those bands later. I think I used to listen to Simple Plan actually, when I was a teenager.

i only backtracked on simple plan about a year ago. the subject of their music has changed as well as they aged. :3
when i listened to "i'm just a kid", i laughed at how i related with the song so much when i was younger. it's really funny when i think i've matured after all. lol.

Yeah, I always think I'm so immature but when I really think about it it's only my tastes which are immature. Like my Hello Kitty purses, love for Disney songs and my game choices. But I can hold a job, I can take orders from a boss, I can pay bills on time. As a teen I resented any authority and couldn't handle criticism or being told what to do. I really am an adult. :3 I'm a big kid now! xD

i resent authority too. well, now.... i hope i won't in the near future. @_@ It's not a bad thing to have immature taste. I mean, i'm not exactly a Hello Kitty fan anymore since well, i'm more on the boyish side when i was a kid. We all need to have that inner child or else we'd drown in sorrow for the seriousness of life. lol. i'm more inclined in gaming. I love 2D games. like, DOS games. I was 5 when i played my first DOS game.... which is Peter Pan and Eagle Eye Mysteries. Lol. XD I still have the CDs. Cause of EEM, i had a dream of being a child detective. lol, movies and games make it seem so easy for a kid. XDDD
When i was given the chance to visit Japan for a study tour, i got odd looks when i was hesitant in taking pictures in a really really BIG Hello Kitty Store. ^^''' I mean, the other girls were excited about it with all their selfies and stuff.... but i was the lone girl in the guys group that wasn't quite as enthusiastic. Ehe. I actually felt nervous when the guides asked me to join the girls but i still didn't. ^^'' Sorry, i'm just not really a fan of pink.... unless it's a strawberry/cherry flavored treat.

I was a tomboy too up until my 10th grade year of high school. That's when my mom kicked me out and I had to go live with my girlie friend. I wasn't able to get most of my stuff so I had to wear her clothes. I ended up liking pink and skirts. Up until then my fave colors were black and green. Now I love pink.
Japan, now that is awesome. I would love to go there. I would have taken so many pics of that Hello Kitty stuff, haha. But not too many selfies. I can't take pics of myself in front of other people, haha. Smiling in the camera is so fake so I hide in the bathroom. xD If someone else is taking my picture it's different though somehow, haha.

Same same. I'm like that with a camera too. But i like to take some personal selfies only when i think i look different in that one moment. Like example, i got make-up on (i don't wear make-up, only on occasion. i dunno how to apply them) or i'm wearing a costume... etc. Just for the memory.

Well, I never knew how to put on makeup either until my aunt who sells Mary Kay showed me. But if you want tips.. look at drag queen vids on Youtube. For reals. If a man can start out looking like a man and end up a hotter woman than most, they know what they are doing. xD I learned to apply liquid makeup with my fingers and then powder over that with a brush in a circular motion from a drag queen vid. Used to I used a powder puff thing for both. It really does look better the way he did it. I could sometimes see lines from the puff.

Oh yea, i have friends that look those up and they show me sometimes. I guess i'm too hesitant. lols. i've always been told to use only light makeup cause, i'm pretty white... chinese-skined, so foundation would make me a bit pale(?), then i often blush so blush on would make me look more of a tomato than most already say i do when i'm embarrassed or nervous. I guess the best idea would be to start learning on eye shadow and eye liner. I often think i have no eyelids... not literally, but not enough folds to make it look like eyelids when my eyes are open and i have short and few eyelashes, so i guess, i should start there. lols. thanks for the tip. ^^ Would be hard landing a job if i can't even look the part well. XDDD Heck, i'm still adamant on not wearing a skirt. XDDD

Well, some girls really don't need foundation. I have smokers lines though.. ugh.. like the veins that go from the corners of my mouth to the bottom of my face are more obvious. My skin is darker in some areas too. It's not probably even something other people notice, but it bothers me. xD I am pale too, I never see the light of day. xD I use the palest stuff they sell and it just evens my face out. I don't think I look paler with it, but I guess you'd just have to try and see. I'd recommend getting something super cheap in case it's a waste. As far as liquid makeup I always get the Acne Neutrogena stuff which is pricey. But for powder it's all the same. I've gotten stuff that was $1 that looked no different from name brand. You probably could use mascara. I love it. As for eyes just always use light stuff from the eyebrow to the eye. Then a dark color in the corner of your eye. I get this stuff from Mary Kay that has 4 colors, one for under the eyebrow, one for the corner, and 2 you can pick from for the eyelid. I love it. You should wear skirts! At times, it does feel good to be considered a girlie girl especially when they least expect it. ^^ I dress depending on occasion, so sometimes, my friends get a shock when they see me all dressed up for about 2-3 times a year. lol.
Like last night, it was our computer engineering society's acquaintance party and i was one of the organizers. I actually don't need to dress up since the theme is very simple (Hawaiian). I put on a fitting floral long sleeved blouse which was rather loose below the waist and down the elbows. Can't say it was frills but it just swayed as i moved. Then since my mom was there as a friend of the bar owner.... i decided to get daring. lol. For the first time in my life i wore very very short shorts outside of the house, at a bar even. XD I can't say i have a good figure, not fat but sort of chubby with a curvy shape, so i don't have long lean legs... i'm just 5'2''. But i got some praises on my complexion last night. lol. Palest/whitest legs among the bunch. lol. Can't say i would do that again anytime soon. XD
I was actually thinking of wearing a dress or skirt.... but..... i feel there's a lot of those already (which there was) and it would be rather hard to move about the club as organizer since i may feel uncomfortable with a skirt on. Lol. It's nice to be praised as a girl from time to time only when i dress up for it. At normal days, i discourage any praises since i feel as stressed as ever with school. lol, with all the white strands of hair popping up on the top of my head from the stress. Lol.
I hadn't had time for make-up though, since i was rather late for an organizer.... like 20minutes late. I slept immediately after class which was 3 hours before the party and i woke up an hour before the party. My bad, i hadn't planned an outfit earlier so i had to mix and match a few things. I'm not exactly the fashionable type. Some people think i wear stuff wrong. lol. Probably all the anime i got in my head. Clothes are always perfect when drawn, but worn in real life? Arghhh, it doesn't fit as well as it looks in anime. XDDD
