Xander was setting up the beach things and Lily was about to head over to the water when Orah called out to them. Lily grinned and waved excited, before grabbing her brother who wasn't waving, instead looking in Orah's direction with a concerned look.

"Come on Xander and for pete's sake smile. Let's go say hi to Orah."

He barely got to stick the umbrella in the ground, but he went willing walking up to Orah with a smile. While Lily dropped down right beside her with a happy grin, Xander stood in front of the pair offering shade. "Are you doing okay Orah?"

His attention was however diverted by Jessie calling out to him, something about Quinn twisting some. He shook his head and looking back to Orah. "Hold that thought, I will be right back. I promise. I'm going look at Quinn's ankle. He gave Lily a look, but she was up and after Isis, before he can even say it.

"Ugh Quinn, why did he bring her to the beach. There is so much for little Miss Curious to get into ... Isis ...ISIS," she called chasing the cat, the thing managing to narrowly avoid her time and time again.

Xander headed over to Jessie, Quinn and his parent. "Hello Mr and Mrs Quinton, Quinn, Jessie. You think you sprained your ankle, yes? I can take a look at it. It's probably not to bad. You probably just pulled something a little."

Meanwhile Lily finally grabbed Isis and headed back to Orah, "ever met a savannah cat before they are so big. Isis here is super curious and friendly. It my friend Quinn's cat."

"Perfect," Jeanne said, because spending a day in the sun on the beach with her girlfriend really did sound like the best form of R&R she could ask for. Plus, she was pretty sure they'd sneak off somewhere private later and have their own little celebration.

"Beer an' bottled cocktails, under everythin' else." She said. Bringing liquor to a beach party was practically a requirement - and so was getting into the water, so she ran after Keren.

"No fair, yer nearly a foot taller'n me, ya got longer legs!"

When the young boy (Peter) told her to just go under, Luca flashed him a smile. "Okay!" Slowly, she lowered herself into the water, but then jolted right back up when she cast a cursory look over her shoulder and saw a familiar purple-haired someone running towards the water. "Hey, Keren! That you over there?" She came very close to accidentally calling her Megiddo, which would have been very hard to explain (and potentially dangerous depending on who was listening); having seen her both in and out of henshin (thanks, boot camps), she was able to make the connection. As for the redhead chasing after her (Jeanne), she seemed vaguely familiar somehow... she must have been someone at one of the boot camps. Penthesilea, maybe? That was just a guess from the hair color, though.

Quinn's mom was pleasantly surprised when the young lady who helped her son brought back Xander. She greeted him cheerfully as the young man began to help her son, Quinn on the other hand wasn't as surprised as his mom since it seemed he was running in to Xander more and more often even when he didn't really want to. "Yeah I hope so... I've got to find Isis before she gets into real trouble. I hope Dad's got her." He squirmed around trying to see through the crowded beach to tell if his father had managed to wrangle his cat.

His mom put a restraining hand on his shoulder and asked Xander, "Is it bad. If it's bad its a good reason for Quinn to join us at the villa." She meant the place in the Mediterranean. "Mom, I told you I have to work. I can't just spend two months on the beach." Quinn explained.

Jessie, who had remained quiet thought the whole issue spoke up without even thinking about it, in fact she was paying attention to the beach hoping to spot the large cat herself, "If you need the time off Quinn its not a really big deal." It wasn't until she turned back did she realized she never actually introduced herself, "I'm Jessie Haze, Quinn's boss at the book store."

"There you see. You can come with us." His mom said triumphantly, this caused Quinn to sputter as he desperately tried to come up with another excuse. He had no problem having his folks out of the country but after ignoring the secret war for so long he really did need to stick around.

Quinn's dad had traveled the beach pretty far and just as he was about to give up he spotted the large cat being wrangled by a young red head. It wasn't until he was closer that he recognized Lily Jacobs. He knew until they knew if Quinn had a more serious problem that the cat was better off with Lily he smiled and headed back to his family, forgetting to tell Lily.

Isis merowed at Lily and twined about her legs. She knew the young lady and liked her so she went with her willingly. Once back at their spot Isis waited no time going up to the other girl to examine her.

Anelie had never turned down free ice cream in her life and she wasn't about to start now. "Chocolate please and thank you." She replied, looking up at the Prime Minister with her very best smile. Even if he was trying to plot against the Princess, she was glad he was around to supply them with a proper feast.

"After the feast maybe we should go on a quest," she suggested, looking over the sand castle with a critical eye.
