for anybody in the bay area, cali, there's a suspension show going on in san jose near my hometown - i'll probably be there (although i don't have the financial security to actually go and pay to suspend).
just a question for all who have done, what's the average amount of time you spend off the ground? a friend of mine was hooked in for over an hour, another friend of mine said she couldn't do it for more than ten minutes.

I wasn't up for very long, but I think the average is 3o mins to an hour.

My boyfriend wants to do a suspension. I want to be there to witness no matter what, but I don't think I want it done...I like piercings and tattoo's because they stay there, but I don't like the idea of piercing something just to remove it in an hour or so...But he's exited sweatdrop

Y'know, it's a fluctuating thing for me. Some days, when I think about it, I think it would be a unique and spiritual experience. It's absolutely amazing how tough human skin is. But other days, The thought of being lifted up by my skin doesn't sound appealing.
I would most certainly go see suspensions being done, but as for if I would go up or not? That's another story.
I think if I did do it, I'd want to do a lotus suspension or a superman suspension. Those look fun.
