bwahaha!! what fun...i updated the character list (as i will from now on) because im just obsessive like that..

The winged lady lay unconscious near the edge of the roof as the moon was rising.
"You've wasted too much of my time already," said the man, beginning to walk away. "I won't bother killing you yet."
He knew that no human could have seen or heard the fight or fighters, so he wasn't worried about anyone seeing her laying there. He stepped up on the corner of the building and leapt to the ground below, unseen and unheard. As he entered Kenny's building, he heard a loud thud, followed by two more, but the man leaning on a counter nearby didn't seem to notice.
Dammit, just for two minutes...
He sprinted up the staircase ready to kill anyone in his path.
- meanwhile -
Cedric, knowing it was usless to struggle against the chains, instead went for Kenny. He kicked him square in the chest and sent the boy flying across to the opposite wall, crashing into it hard. He lept to his feet, then spun and kicked him in the face when Kenny tried to get up. The shadow spell was fading quickly, but had yet to completely disappear, so Cedric dropped to one knee on the demon's chest to pin him to the ground.
"You want to know why I'm here? I'm here to destroy you and take everything you have to offer."
The boy passed out and Cedric's bondage desolved. He picked Kenny up and out of his path, then threw him behind his shoulder effortlessly and walked away. As soon as he closed the door to the appartment he previously had arranged for him, the mysterious man came bursting into the hall.
He saw Kenny and cursed softly, then swiftly picked him up, opened the boy's door, and took him inside.
- sometime later -
When Kenny finally awoke, he was laying on his bed. He rose, confused, then remembered the hunter. He touched his chest and winced, realizing that it had become hard for him to breath, then pulled up his shirt and saw that it was bandaged. Puzzled, he walked into his living room where he had put Charletta. Dawn was beginning to soften the sky and Charletta remained asleep, but when he looked around, he saw a book was missing from the small table next to the couch.
When he walked into the kitchen, he found a stranger reading at the table with his feet propped up on a chair. He looked up and said, "Morning."
"Who the hell are you?"
"My name is Yin-Heralbi Keratiah. I'm here to help you, Rith."
"That's not my name!"
"Don't refuse your proper title, you're no more human than I am."

Cedric was running through the dark alleys of the city panting heavily, he was weakened from the shadow bonds and several of the dark agents were after him. I should of payed more attention after I left the apartment complex! He mentally cursed himself for not being more aware and sprinted into another alley way but ran into a dead end, "s**t!" Cedric turned and faced his persuers. They were four of them, all wearing long hooded robes that completely hid thier form. They advanced slowly on the cornered hunter, "Come on! I'm not afraid!" Cedric pulled out an amulet with a fire insignia on it and slipped it around his neck, with it he'd be able to summon fire to do his will. But to his surprise the dark ones suddenly lowered their weapons and stopped. "....?" The hooded ones stepped aside and out from the shadows emerged a tall figure, wearing a black hooded robe as dark as midnight and approached the hunter. "Reveal youself!" Cedric demanded.
"Hahaha..Cedric as you call yourself now..as brash as always..."
Cedric gasped, that smooth voice could only belong to.....
"Khellarlorin!"
At the mention of his name, the hooded figure raised his elegantly gloved hands and lowered his hood, revealing an elegant face and long royal blue hair. (guess who xD )
"I am touched, you remember me"
"Don't be, you heartless b*****d!"
"Hah, now now Cedric...I wish only to chat with you...like old times"
"Not interested!"
"I'm not giving you a choice..."
Cedric had enough, he sparked the magic within the amulet and unleashed a massive fire barrage at hooded ones, Khellarlorin raised his hand and the fire was imeadiatly snuffed out by invisible forces. Cedric stammered back in disbelief, the magic he just used was one of his strongest...And the dark master had just deflected it like it was nothing.
Khellarlorin lips parted into an evil grin as he moved closer to the hunter and snapped his long fingers. The hooded followers pounced on Cedric and pinned him to the ground. "As I said..you don't have a choice"
The dark master laughed as shadows swallowed all of them and transported them to the dark city.

"My Lord, someone just used a portal not far from here, do you want me to follow them?" Rugnadas suddenly asked.
Simon opened his eyes slightly, annoyed at being desturbed from meditating. "Depends, where is it to? I don't want you chasing every spirit every time one opens a portal," Simon said, closing his eyes once more.
"No, my Lord, it's to the Dark City, in the Dark Realm."
"Yes, please do, and try to stay hidden, I don't want to be found out, as you know. When you get back, can you help me with some more experiments with essence?"
"It would be an honor, just don't start without me, I don't want you to mess up and kill yourself," the imp replied ernestly.
"'Kay, so long, Rugnadas, see you soon I hope."
"Fairwell, my Lord, and don't miss school tomorrow," the imp added as an after thought.
As the imp vanished into its own portal, Simon got up to get something to eat.

okay, new character added, elf's post edited, and spare time at hand--its time to write! whee

Keratiah stood, putting the book on the table, and said: "The hunters are getting stronger, Rith, you can't handle them all on your own."
"Who's gonna help me, old man; you?"
Keratiah smirked and said, "I'm only here to protect you for a little while. That girl you have with you, however, interests me as well."
Kenny looked at him with new suspicion, but was unable to question him as Charletta walked in. Kenny snatched her arm and pulled her behind him, his eyes sparking red.
"Get out."
"You're being rash--"
"Now."
The room darkened.
Keratiah smirked again and said, "As you wish. Good day, Charletta," as he brushed past them.
When the apartment door closed, Charletta faced Kenny.
"Who was--"
"We need to get out of here."
"But--"
"No, now. Where do you live?"
"In the business district, but who--"
"I don't know, someone bad."
"Are you hurt?"
"No."
"Your breathing strange.."
"I'm fine, its just a bruise. Come on, get your bag, we have to go back to your place; are your parents there?"
Charletta was silent as her eyes drifted down to the floor.
"Well?"
"They...I...no one will stop us from staying there, if thats what you mean."
"Good, let's go."
- meanwhile -
Khellarlorin walked swiftly with his escorts and Cedric stumbling to keep up. When he reached his personal domain, he entered a large room of black marble and led them to several elegant, deep-scarlet sofas. He sat facing Cedric, his elbow propped on the arm of the couch and his head resting lightly on his graceful hand, locking eyes with him steadily.
"You collected blood, Cedric. How foolish of you to keep the samples on your fingers where all the world can see..."
With a slight gesture to one of the still-hooded others, Cedric's hand was examined and the blood carefully removed on a silk cloth, his eyes never leaving Khellarlorin's.
When the cloth was brought to him, Khellarlorin looked at it carefully and murmured, "Human...?" then brought it to his mouth and touched it to his tongue. His eyes sparked and he looked at Cedric asking: "Dear Cedric, what new treasure have you found now?
