Corey smiled, but then after Kris left Paul was trying to make conversation with him, which he didn't mind. Corey nodded at Paul's question then said, "I live here at the dorms during the year, but when school ends I live with my mother. How 'bout you, Dude? D'you live here at the dorms?" Corey smiled and awaited for Paul's answer. He could see that he was nervous, and Corey wasn't sure how to make the situation better.
Paul perked up a little, 'I'm having a conversation with a person!' he thought. "Yeah, it's my first year here..." he said, and before he went on Kris bounced down the stairs in clean clothes, she placed her arm around Corey, "Ready!"

Corey nodded and replied to Paul, "Cool, man. I hope you like it here, Dude. It's a pretty cool place- At least I kinda think so. Ya'know?" Of course Corey was only speaking about the places he usually hung out at around campus, but he still thought the school was pretty cool. Just then Kris came back, Corey smiled and uttered a 'Hey' then looked at both Paul and Kris, "So. We ready to roll? Or do we gotta stop somewhere else?- Like,. . We good?"
Paul shook his head quickly, indicating he had no where else to go. Kris said, "Nope! Diggja want to call Adam and Katherina and see if they wanted to come? You can tell them it's on me!" Kris smiled. She had grown to like Adam a lot, and Katherina was not that bad. Kris had a ton of campus cash and had no problem buying her friends meals.

Meanwhile, In the "Brozen Wing" of the dormitory,
Katherina got a text from Corey. She took one look at her brother and wrote Corey back, "Sorry, Corey, we can't make it. Rain check?" and then hit send.
Meanwhile, out in front of the dormitory,
Corey got a text a text from Katherina. He figured they wouldn't be able to make it, so he decided that after the three came back from wherever they were going he was going to stop by 'Amigo Taco' to get some food for them. Adam liked Tacos, so he thought that that would make him feel a little better. Corey looked down at Kris, "They can't make it." He wasn't about to put the twins' business on full blast, so he said "Next time, maybe." and then lightly shrugged. Corey wrote back to Katherina, "It's cool. I miss you guys. I'll be stoppin' by the amigo taco on the way back. I'm gonna get you guys some tacos. Aight?"

Katherina felt her phone vibrate, and when she took it out she smiled. Corey was always thinking of her and Adam. She turned her phone so that Adam could see the text, and she said to her brother, "Corey is getting us tacos later, Adam." Adam wiped his tears and looked at the text Corey sent to his sister. He nodded, then Katherina asked her brother, ". . . Want to go for a walk? I feel like going out for a walk. Or d'you want to watch me ******** up on my skateboard?" Adam looked up at his sister. . . He grabbed his phone, and then said to her,"A walk sounds great. . . Bring your board, though. Just in case." Katherina smiled. She was just happy that her brother even wanted to do anything.
Kris, Corey and Paul walked to the promenade. Kris made sure to grab Corey's hand and hold it while they were walking. She liked how his hand felt, and she liked how it showed him off as her boyfriend. She had never had a real boyfriend before, and now she had the cutest boy she had ever met.
Paul walked quietly with Corey and Kris, he walked a little bit behind them and was lost in thought about how he could be less awkward and not screw up the coming social situation he was entering.

"I vent and forgot all about the gig tonight! the guys are probably waiting to sound check this very moment, oh stupid me!" she scolded herself as she strapped on her belts and garters and oter leather, studded things. Rikka's band, "Drop Dead Drow", a name she had used in a previous band but decided to bring back for sentimental reasons, had gained a certain popularity in the city over the past couple of months. Rikka called from her closet "I am going to look like a snob! it is not always you get to open for such a large band, and this could be the break I have been vaiting for!" she yelled as she did her makeup in a hurry. After finishing her concert look in a hurry, she grabbed the 3 or 4 guitar cases she was going to need and started for the door. "Vait" She said to herself, looking at the floor in shame "I can't fit this all on my bike!" she cried, making a pouty face to Vittorio

Corey smiled when Kris took a hold of his hand. He didn't mind her aggressive tactics most of the time. Corey knew that that's just how she was, and he accepted it fully. Things were quiet now, and so Corey decided to break the silence, "So, what are we up for? Pizza? I'm kinda in a Pizza mood."
Meanwhile, in Rikka's apartment,. . .
Vittorio chewed his cereal a bit more, looking down at Rikka. . . Without hesitation he grabbed his keys from off of the kitchen counter, made sure his towel was on properly, then grabbed one of her guitar cases and said, "I'll drive you there now. C'mon."

"Mmmmm! Pizza!" Kris said happily. Pauldid his normal little awkward nod.
Once at the dining hall Corey had gone up to get a pizza for them, and Kris and Paul found a empty booth.
"What are you majoring in Paul?" Kris asked fiddling with the straw in her coke glass. "Writing." Paul said quickly, holding back a blush. He hardly ever talked to girls, especially girls so cute and assertive as Kris. "Oh! Wow! Like novels? Poems?!" Kris said in her same enthusiastic type of way. "Both, I guess..." Paul looked up, trying to make eye contact, but only held for a second before looking back down at his own coke. "...but I want to be a novelist." He said with a small smile. "That is sooooo cool! I love to read! What kind of novels?" "Well... um... I like mystery, crime... or horror type novels. My mom always liked horror... I was named after the character in the book Misery." "Sweet! I've never read that one, I'll have to check it out." Kris smiled at Paul. He seemed very nervous, but it was cool to know they had something in common. "I myself am a music major, but I don't know if I want to ONLY do that, you know?" Before Paul couldn't even nod with how fast she was walking, Kris went on, "I'm minoring in chemistry... but that's only because my family is full of doctors, and I don't know if I really like it... I think it would be fun to get into geology! But my parents wouldn't like that." This was the longest conversation Paul had ever had with a girl, of his age. He had a small smile on his face, and nodded to show he was interested and listening, but he still couldn't give more than a few seconds of eye contact. Kris then noticed Corey looking for them, she waved her arms in the air, "OVER HERE!" she yelled. This caused Paul to jump, almost spilling his drink.

Corey sat down with the Pizza and took a drink of his root beer float; One scoop of ice cream in a small cup full of root beer. As he drank, he started thinking about his best friend Adam. He was feeling guilty about being out and about with Kris and their new friend Paul while Adam was going through a severe depression. And he was hoping that the tacos would help him feel better. While he sat there he took a small slice of pizza and started chewing, thinking about what else he could do for his friend.
Meanwhile, in Rikka's apartment,. . .
Vittorio raised an eyebrow at Rikka and gave her a 'Are you kidding me?' look and then said, "You're IN A RUSH, Dude. I don't have time for pants! Let's go!" Vittorio knew how important it was for her to be on time to these things, so he tightened the towel and said, "If it makes you feel any better, I won't even get out of the CAR."
Paul was proud of himself. He had met some nice people and actually may have made some new friends. After pizza they all went their separate ways. Kris had band practice and kissed Corey goodbye. Paul went back to his dorm room and sat in front of computer. He had been in a bit of a block since getting to school, but now with his new found excitement he began to type, fast and hard as ideas flowed.

Ronnie went back inside because it was almost time to get their band's sound checked. Ronnie understood rikka's absence, in recent months she had really gained a rockstar style of attitude that helped the band in some ways and harmed them in others. Showing up fashionably late was common of rikka nowadays. Ronnie almost did not care tonight, he was in his element, the fans, the girls, the booze, Ronnie loved every minute. the club was dead all except for performers and event staff as Ronnie got up on stage and began to tune his bass.

Vittorio had loaded Rikka's stuff into the trunk of his car for her. He could hear people making comments about him being in a towel; Some comments were good, others not so good, and the rest were inaudible. Vittorio drove them to where she needed to be, and once they got there he helped carry some of her stuff in. After gently setting it down, he asked her, "Alright, d'you need anything else?- I can grab you some food later on, if you want?"

After a fairly successful band practice Kris walked home. She was thinking about how much fun it was seeing Corey today. She couldn't wait to see him again. She pulled out her phone and texted him: "Hey sweetie! I had a great time today!"
After a fairly successful band practice Kris walked home. She was thinking about how much fun it was seeing Corey today. She couldn't wait to see him again. She pulled out her phone and texted him: "Hey sweetie! I had a great time today!"
She hit send and kept walking.
Corey was on his way to Amigo Taco. He was lazily rolling along on his skateboard, his favourite song blasting in his head phones, and as he rolled along he felt his phone vibrate. Corey couldn't stop to look at his phone because he was about to cross the street. Once he crossed, he was already at Amigo Taco and so he couldn't look at his phone. He was too focused on the menu; unsure if he should get the usual, or to get something different for himself and the twins. Once it was his turn to order, he totally and completely forgot about everything. "Yo! Uhm, I'll haaaaave. . . Two number Fives, One number Two- With NO hot sauce on it. Uhhhhmmmmm. . One number Four- WAIT! Two number Fours, and One number Three with some Guaco on the side!" The girl rang up the order and told Corey how much he owed. Corey happily paid for the food, and then waited for it to all be made. Right now he was excited to see his two best friends, and he was excited to eat some Amigo Taco.
